Bills-Rams being replayed now on NFLN
MJS replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Seemed like a legitimate call to me. Yeah, at the end of games sometimes you see officials put their flags away and allow stuff like that, but it seems to fit the definition of pass interference to me. -

He has only had double digits once and that was back in 2017. -
PFF top 50 free agent signing predictions
MJS replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Do they consider him a top 50 free agent? -
He is a quality kicker.

A lot of people don't like them. I know that. Personally, I don't mind them all that much. They certainly aren't my favorites, though.
-
They usually sound like it too. Just a couple of buddies reminiscing about the old days and spit balling about football. Not the highest quality, but you can do worse.

Could the Bills be looking to incorporate a Thug OL?

Do kids in Alabama and other schools not have names? I don't get why people say "kid from..." all the time. Do you really not know his name? -
Position Group least in need of a move
MJS replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If they resign Milano I don't see a huge need at LB. WR could be the same group and be just fine next year (especially with John Brown and Cole Beasley healthy), though they might want to consider adding a bigger, strong WR at some point in the future. I know many think that TE is a huge need, but I value that position less than many of the others we need, so I'll say if we take the same unit into next year I will be just fine with that, as long as they beef up the oline and fix the run game. Biggest needs I see on defense are a run stuffing DT (preferably someone better than Star), Edge Rusher, and #2 CB. On offense it's all about the running game, so draft the best, most talented RB you can and invest more in the offensive line. And Daboll better be doing his homework this off-season to improve the run scheme. -
What's Tyrel Dodson future with this team?
MJS replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Edmunds is not going to switch to OLB. It isn't going to happen any time soon. That's not actually the case, though. Dodson is inferior to Milano is just about every imaginable way, including athleticism. -
Jessica Pegula currently playing 4th round match at Australian Open!

Anyone playing at the level in a sport is an elite athlete compared to the rest of us. They are elite athletes because they are good enough to compete at that level, regardless of their ranking among the other elites they play with. Anyone who makes it to the NFL and plays is an elite athlete. There are millions of athletes who don't even have a chance to get there. That's the point that you missed. Now, you can argue she is not elite compared to her peers, but that's a different discussion. -
Well, I do agree they should treat the trophy better, personally. And I thought it was a little disgraceful for Gronk to hit a baseball with the trophy a couple years back. But we're dealing with some of the most entitled people on the planet, so it makes sense they would do stuff like that. I'm not too worried about it. Just a minor annoyance. There are far bigger things to be worried about.

Seems like mostly they just stand around. -

I've come across a few dudes from farming families in Idaho. Invariably they were all extremely humble, down to Earth, and super hard workers. -
I think Watt could have been traded in the real world. But supposedly they decided to release him so he could sign where he wants. If you think there isn't a team out there willing to trade a draft pick for JJ Watt, even on a one year deal, I don't know what to tell you. They could have gotten a third or 4th rounder probably, but the Texans decided they wanted to allow Watt to choose his own future.

Deshaun Watson officially requests trade from Houston
MJS replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Gilmore was a free agent. Watt was cut. I do not see any similarity there. Now you can say the Bills were wrong to let Gilmore walk (even though he was a malcontent and didn't want to be in Buffalo. He wanted national recognition), but that doesn't correlate to Watt being cut at all. -
Some people don't feel as strongly as you. I agree the current uniforms are good. But I am totally fine with having some throwbacks, or even the all reds or all blues sometimes. I like the variety. I think it is perfectly logical for people to want to see 90's throwbacks and to enjoy a different look once in awhile.
-
I'd be down for that, but they aren't currently allowed to change the helmets, though I did see something about them looking to change that rule at some point.
-
Well the Texans AREN'T a franchise with class, until now, apparently. That's the point. And there was lots of speculation even on these boards that the Texans might be interested in trading him. But good for him. Hope he finds a good spot.
-
The Texans doing right by a player? That doesn't fit their MO.
-
Ouch. Not even trading him then. Seems like they could have gotten something for him.

I didn't really want him then either. -

I'm not a big fan of Williams. I'd rather the team look elsewhere.
