I'm so far removed from all this player drama that so many of you are interested in that I could not tell you what his girlfriend's name even is (apparently it is Britt, I learned from this thread). I've heard rumors that Poyer has a wife and sometimes there is drama there as well. I could not give you her name either. I just watch football.

I'd be happy with Jaxon Smith-Njigba or Quentin Johnston in the 1st round, though they aren't likely to be there for the Bills. None of the other WR's really do it for me in the 1st round.

Jerry Rice, the best WR of all time, only ran a 4.71. But players did not train for those events like they do now.

I don't think you should go into the draft fixated on what your opponents are doing and trying to prevent them from getting certain players. You have to be focused on what makes your own team better. Let the Patriots worry about what WE are doing to improve. They are the ones who should be worried.

I wouldn't expect 3 rookies starting for a 13-3 team unless something drastic happened. It's possible, I suppose. If you got Campbell at MLB, a WR #2, and a RT. But I seriously doubt a WR or RT will come in and start day 1 unless they are 1st rounders, and we aren't getting 3 players good enough at those positions to start day one over what we already have.

That was one of the worst calls I have ever seen. One of the worst in franchise history. That game had really, really bad blunders by the refs against the Bills.

Well, if you look at anything (wins, championships, passing statistics, playoff appearances, longevity, big moments, etc), Tom Brady outshines Joe Montana. The only leg Montana has to stand on is the earlier era of rougher treatment for QB's, and there really isn't any way to know how Brady would have fared then, or how Montana would have fared in later eras. So, it is basically up to subjective opinion when considering the era. Nobody really knows. It's Tom Brady, in my opinion. I don't like him, mainly due to his countless temper tantrums on the sidelines, his cheating scandals with the Pats, and because he played for a division rival, but I think it is clear he is the GOAT. Until, of course, Josh Allen takes that title in 20 years.

He is going to go higher than a lot of people think, regardless of whether the Bills take him. The Bills won't get him if they trade too far back, I don't think. Can't get married to one prospect, though.

He IS worth that. That's what the market dictated. Regardless, the Bills couldn't afford to give that to him and can't afford to give that to someone else either.

So, instead of paying Edmunds 18 million a season, we are going to trade a high draft pick AND pay a linebacker 18+ million a season? How does that make any sense?
