I think he is contributing excellently just as he is in the 3rd WR role. It was the same when Gabe Davis was in that role. Let's just let him continue to develop, keep giving him opportunities, and we'll see where that goes.
-
I think the option was to turn and sit, or break inside. I don't think he was ever going to turn it outside. If he turns and sits, the defender is right there... So, just not good all around. The option was a curl route, probably. Davis turns and sits or breaks it inside. He chose inside.

Part of the problem is Davis wasn't looking for the ball at all. He needs to get his head around right as he is breaking, but he doesn't. He takes a couple of steps before looking. The defender lets him go because he saw the pass. Allen let that ball go before Davis even made his break. But Davis had a man right on him when Allen made the throw. Allen should have just thrown it out of the back of the end zone instead of throwing it to a covered man.

I don't want another QB either, but I'm still going to point out when he does something dumb. Just like any other player or coach. Liking and supporting a player doesn't mean you have to ignore their weaknesses and mistakes.

Yeah, it's coaching.... You McDermott haters are ridiculous.
-
Whay wouldn't they know?
-
Not according to some fans. They think there is somehow a high likelihood of the Bills winning against them next week. Don't question it or they will say you need to watch more football 😉 But I agree with you.

Great argument. Just amazing analysis.
-
Why would it be a high likelihood?
-
If we lose to a banged up fins team today, why would we beat them in a week when they are more healthy? And if we do, we then go to Baltimore. Getting the 2 seed is far, far better.

Every year, haha? It almost never happens that a team with a losing record makes the playoffs. It is rare.

Week 18 - Bills v. Fish - PREDICT THE SCORE
MJS replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills homers? Well, tell that to Vegas. The Bills are favored to win (61.8% implied probability). Not to mention they boat raced Miami earlier in the year and almost always play them very well. You are just a hater and a pessimist. -
Week 18 - Bills v. Fish - PREDICT THE SCORE

Bills: 33 Dolphins: 17 -
James Cook, as both a pass catcher and a runner. I think the plan will be to dump it off to him a lot and get the defense to creep up. The Dolphins like to keep everything in front of them and they don't blitz much, so there will be a lot of bodies in coverage, which opens the door for running and quick passing.

Does Tua Tagovailoa have a "Big Game" problem? (great article)
MJS replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Tua has been bad against the Bills, at least. He has a 1-5 win loss record, and a passer rating of 79.6, with 5 TD's and 6 INT's. Sean McDermott knows how to deal with him. And McDermott usually keeps Tyreek Hill in check too, whether when he was with the Chiefs or now with the Dolphins. And given all the injuries to the Dolphins, I think this is going to be a Bills win. But they play the games for a reason... -
So you are saying he isn't elite in every single metric, yet? Why not just post his rankings in certain things, as well as his stats compared to other rookies? OF COURSE his stats don't line up with Kelce and Kittle. They likely never will. They are the best of the best. The truth is, Kincaid is a promising rookie who has shown great flashes. There is no reason to make it more complicated than that.

If he even sees the field much.

It does say more than 99%...

Why does this team always seem like it's running on fumes?
MJS replied to T.E.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
It has always been like that, to a certain extent. At least in the salary cap era. The one big exception is the Tom Brady Patriots. -
Anyone else have a good feeling about the Titans vs. Jags?
MJS replied to JMM's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nope. The Titans suck. -
It's true. A lot of things have to go your way to win the superbowl, and that is after you have already built a team capable of doing it. That is the nature of single elimination tournaments, which is what the playoffs are. A bad bounce and you are going home. One, single play can end your season. But that is also what makes it exciting. Any team can get hot and go get it done.

Congrats to Pro Bowlers James Cook and Dion Dawkins!
MJS replied to beebe's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dawkins has been killing it this year. He is probably the most deserving.
