  1. If Kansas City loses to Houston, their chances of making the playoffs goes down to about 11%. It would be so fun to see them miss the playoffs with Mahomes not even missing any time. So, they just weren't taking things seriously before and they decided that now, in week 14, it is finally time to get dialed in and try to win? That's pretty bad, if true. Andy Reid must have lost the locker room if he can't get his team motivated to play until now. He should be on the hot seat. Or maybe they just don't have the horses this year and aren't the dominant team they have been...
  2. Bosa and Thompson are the obvious choices. But Milano is a dark horse IF he comes back on a very cheap contract and the Bills bring in more linebacker competition. That would be a low risk, high reward situation.
  3. Pittsburgh actually has an average offense. They are 15th in yards and 15th in points per game (23.4). Its not like they are a bottom 5 offense or anything. The Bills made them look much worse than they actually are.
  4. Imagine how good the run game would be if they DIDN'T run the same play over and over again and actually had a plan to set up play action, misdirection, and running different things post snap to confuse the defense. I do not like what I hear about the scheme and Brady's play calling.
  5. He needs over 150 yards a game for the remaining games to get to 2,000. That ain't happening. Great season, though.
  6. It's hard to say he is the main issue. There are lots of issues that all contribute. But he is one of them, in my opinion. I see the defense, even though it isn't very good, make adjustments and stop the bleeding. That is coaching. So, even though there are plenty issues on defense, we see them right the ship from time to time and make stops, even have entire games where they do really well. When the offense struggles, it just struggles. We don't really see adjustments. We don't often see the offense pick up the team when the defense is struggling. We see the same few plays getting run over and over until it gets stuffed multiple times. And we see average receivers play like they don't even belong in the league. I think the receivers we have should be producing more than they do. The scheme and playcalling does not elevate anyone. And I think the success of the running game is all because of Kromer, not Brady. I'm not one to pick on coaches. I defend McDermott all the time. But I'm pretty suspicious of Brady. I think he is part of the problem.
  7. Tackling has changed across the entire sport at all levels over the last 20-30 years as an emphasis on player safety, awareness of risks, and officiating have all necessitated the change. Yes, the targeting rule is part of that legislation, but I don't believe it is the cause of those changes. The changes were already happening. I think it is an unnecessary rule and is more for the NCAA to point to to say they take player safety seriously rather than something that really moves the needle.
  8. I doubt it. Defenders aren't ever doing it on purpose these days anyway.
  9. Yeah, I'm sure Koo values whatever bet he made more than his job, even though he was cut earlier this year and is playing on his 2nd team.
  10. Allen was just trying to push him off because Hayward was taking his sweet time and just laying there on his legs.
  11. On the team? In the AFC? In the league? In the history of the NFL? What "best" are we talking about?
  12. "I drank too much prune juice this morning..."
  13. Funny, when the real issue is that Hurtz just isn't that great of a QB.
  14. I agree. If Tomlin had a quarterback again, he'd have a strong team.
  15. He took the Bills to the playoffs before Josh Allen ever got here, in a year where he was accused of tanking the team.
  16. If he gets fired, he'll get immediately hired by another organization and turn them into a perennial contender as well.
  17. He did have a top defense for many years.
  18. Snap counts don't mean much about the WR depth chart. Shavers, like Coleman, has size, so he gets more snaps as a run blocker. Same with Gabe Davis.
  19. Lose a game and people think we will lose out and miss the playoffs. Win a game and people think we will win out and go to the superbowl. 🤦‍♂️ Is New England some unbeatable team now? The Bills lost by 3 to them in a game where everything went wrong.
  20. I don't know what was behind fan optimism, but when the move was announced, most fans were excited about it and posted as such.
  21. That's just not true. Most fans were very happy with the Samuel signing.
  22. The Broncos and Patriots both received a ton of offseason hype.
  23. Ultimately, it all just comes down to not making mistakes. Penalties, dropped coverages, dropped passes, poor execution, and bad playcalling all contribute to making it harder for everyone else to do their jobs and produce wins. If you eliminate the mental errors, you'll probably have great complementary football.
  24. From his 9 catches this year? That's a pretty small sample size.
