Yeah, I bet oline and dline look fine too, even though the players would all get snuffed out in the NFL. The skill positions are where the talent gap is most visible, even though there is a huge talent gap at other positions as well. Just less visible.
-
Yeah, and Rodgers kind of sucked too. I don't think QBs should be judged too harshly for sucking while playing there. Look at Geno Smith and Sam Darnold, too. Too Jets cast-offs who just signed $100 million contracts this offseason.

He must not have anything better to do. He should just retire and enjoy his $180 million.

Zay Jones? Edit: Oh, I see it was Von Miller. -
They'd prefer he wasn't out on bond, but they are still impressed.

I'm sure he'd be happy to join ANY team at this point.

What positions teams invest the most in (in the draft)
MJS replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bills surely are better at 5th and 6th round selections than other teams, right? Matt Milano, Khalil Shakir, Tylan Grable, Christian Benford, Damar Hamlin, Dane Jackson, and Wyatt Teller. All of those players range from at least decent (Hamlin and Jackson) up to great (Benford and Milano). There's nearly a hit in every draft. That seems really high to me. I know Grable hasn't really played yet, but all signs point to him being good, in my opinion. -

Nice work. It would be interesting to see how trading for players factored into it, but that is a somewhat separate matter. -
I don't think it is just irresponsible. I don't think it may even be possible. For one thing, whatever team we trade with in the top five knows that all of our future draft picks are going to be low in the round. Basically, almost any other team can make a more favorable trade offer with draft picks. The Bills just can't get up that high, I don't think, unless they start trading away valuable players.

Not possible, really.

Didn't follow him last year, but if this is all true, that makes sense why nobody clamored to sign him this year OR last year.

Who is the best Corner in Bills history?
MJS replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
Benford is really good. To be an all timer in Bills history, though, he has to keep it up for many more years and also become a guy who makes impact plays like turnovers. I think he will need to do that if he wants to get recognition by way of pro bowls, all pros, etc. But he has it in him for sure. -

He was a great player. Too bad it all came during the drought. He'd be seen as a top 5 corner in the NFL today if he was on the current Bills, especially since he'd have other players around him that can play on defense. -

I agree he was a good corner here. But he seemed to always start slow and then pull it together toward the 2nd half of the season when he then played lights out. I do think he didn't like to tackle and he did have attitude issues sometimes, blaming other players and having bad body language (maybe a lot of that was justified, but you still don't like to see it). His 2016 season here was really good. But then he left and his ascension continued elsewhere. -

He isn't even close to the top 5 in Bills history. He simply did not have much of an impact here. He went to other teams and had his impact. He is not a top 5 Bills corner, plain and simple. -

Draft Day Shocker: Giants take Ashton Jeanty with their first pick

Can they really be dumb enough to do that AGAIN? That really worked out so well with Barkley, didn't it? -
Thoughts on Attempting to Obtain 4 2025 2nd Round Draft Picks?
MJS replied to HIT BY SPIKES's topic in The Stadium Wall
Because it is a ridiculous trade that would never happen. The Bills trade 6 draft picks for two 2nd round picks so they have 4 2nd round picks. It is just pie in the sky ridiculous and would never actually happen. Nobody ever makes moves like that. Ever. For one thing, teams actually value having later round picks to spend on developmental prospects and depth. Is there room on the roster for 5 premium draft picks (a 1st rounder and 4 2nd), players that you typically want to start right away? No, they would be sitting on the bench. AND your draft becomes very expensive cap wise. And then all their contracts would be up at the same time. Maybe a team that is terrible and rebuilding. But even then, it just doesn't happen that way. For one thing, why would those teams want all our crappy day three picks to give us a premium pick? -

Sounds like a Madden trade -
How is that even something you can trademark? Just dumb.
