  1. He's a Mid. Just like most of the guys on our D-line are. All those resources poured in for nothing when it matters.
  2. We should. Most of the coaches available would be significant upgrades to McD.
  3. Right, we gave up a precious extra play to burn clock when that wasn't even the end game "strategy". I have no problem with taking the shots because you have to get into the end zone, that's the first priority there to me. But then don't waste that play on 1st down. But this is part of the big problem here. McD has no real end game strategy. We have far and away the worst head coach in the NFL who consistently gets bailed out...but it's not going to happen against these elite teams as we've seen over and over again during his era. We absolutely can not win big with him here. i don't see how so many fans or Terry just don't see that.
  4. What happened with both Manning and Jordan? They got rid of their head coaches that couldn’t win big and brought in the right ones.
  5. If McD is back it’s punting another year of his Prime. We might actually waste this guys career. It’s devastating.
  6. Sure, but no accountability for the guy that hired him and who knew what that horrible play was and called for it anyway.
  7. Can't wait to see the ST coach get scapegoated for this and people defend McD saying he's just the Head Coach, he has no idea what all of the coordinators are doing, it's not his fault!
  8. There's just a large chunk of people here who will ride McD no matter what. No matter the endless postseason blunders and failures.
  9. I don’t see how we can have hope with this coach still here though, that’s the problem
  10. We will never win anything with McD here
  11. This is what McD defenses do in the playoffs every single season. People are acting like injuries are the only reason for this.
  12. Hey let’s leave their best player open
  13. He’s the most nothing player in football
  14. My boy!!! They should've signed him!
  15. This is always going to be an issue with McD here. And he's missed on OC's half the time. So lets say we win tomorrow and Brady gets hired away...we're now at the mercy of another McD pick and if it doesn't go well like Dennison or Dorsey, we throw away another 1-2 years and take the gamble on the next OC? And if it does go well, we most likely lose that OC after just a season or two and we start the cycle all over again. We're doing all of this just to keep McD here? A guy who's not even a good in-game head coach? It's just not a great long-term plan. These are precious years we have with a franchise QB.
  16. I had no idea this existed but I love it
  17. I think what they’re saying is if you’re looking at it as we’re going up against them at a disadvantage because of injuries, then wouldn’t you also say we lost to them when we had that advantage 2 years ago? I think being able to win under circumstances like that, especially in the playoffs, is what separates good from great.
  18. I don't see how he's perennially given us a shot to win it all though. We got blown out in the AFCCG 3 years ago, he himself choked away 2021 with 13 seconds, we got blown out last year, and if we lose this Sunday that would be 3 straight exits in the Divisional Round, which with an elite QB is a huge disappointment. This isn't a guy that's been knocking on the door of winning it.
  19. I think a lot of people here wouldn't. There's a lot of fans who think just making the playoffs, even if they are consistent Divisional Round exits where the coach makes blunders year after year is a success. There isn't really a right or wrong answer. If simply that makes people happy, that's what they're going to advocate for. I personally think the standard should be higher.
  20. It's much more of a referendum on McD...that's the guy that choked away the big win vs KC that we would have had
  21. But there is a pretty solid argument for that. Some of you act like there's no nuance there. If we lose, McD will be 5-6 in the postseason overall and 0-3 vs the Chiefs including a home game against the weakest version of them we may see for a long time and one of those being a direct chokejob from him personally, assuming that doesn't happen again in Meeting 3. And 3 straight years of Divisional Round exits since hitting the apex back in 2020-21. It's not crazy...it's pretty logical. That would be a very disappointing body of work with an elite QB.
