  1. I've always liked him just because of this reaction video. It's funny how he has such a tough time with how their draft board looked.
  2. I don't see how we are getting better though, 3 straight Divisional Round KO's after the peak of the AFCCG all the way back in 2020. Also the issue with McD's defensive philosophy you're talking about that you feel he'll work on...he hasn't worked on it for 7 years. This is the same thing he's always done. I don't see any indication of change. This has always been a defense that feasts on bad QB's and has a lot of trouble with good ones in big games.
  3. We’d have a championship at least, no doubt.
  4. How has McD been good in the KC games even outside 13 seconds? His defenses have gotten completely lit up in all 3 of those games. The 2 where we were relatively healthy they gave up 38 and 42 points.
  5. The saddest thing in life is wasted talent
  6. I knew the injuries would be the rally cry. What about in 20 and 21 when the D was relatively healthy and McD’s unit still gave up 38 and 42? Or when we couldn’t stop the Bengals last year? Healthy or not, McD’s side of the ball ALWAYS lets us down in big games. Literally every single time.
  7. To be honest, missing the playoffs may have been the best thing for us. I can’t bring myself to actually root for that…but would I take missing the playoffs in exchange for McD being gone? Absolutely.
  8. How is a Divisional Round appearance and loss some kind of accomplishment with an elite QB that played elite? This is 3 Divisional exits in a row. This is not a good thing.
  9. I mean he'll still probably be around but it won't be this version of him. McD's wasted a lot of that. I think we maybe have a couple years of this kind of weapon where he can run like this and take the punishment. One of those we're punting away next year with McD. We might be down to 1 after that.
  10. If McD is here for the long haul, he’s looking at Phillip Rivers unfortunately. This has already been the most tragic waste of a superstar I’ve ever seen. Yea, Marino is the better comp
  11. Yup, it’s the D that always lets us down. Josh takes a lot of heat that should be going elsewhere.
  12. We’re essentially bringing knives to the gunfight in that is the AFC
  13. Just curious, what makes you feel that they are top notch individuals at the helm? The results don't bear that out.
  14. Peyton only had to face Brady twice in his first 8 seasons before he finally won in year 9. He actually had some really bad postseason performances up until then. That's why I don't see this as comparable. Outside of the Bengals game, Josh has been really good and at times lights out and legendary in the playoffs...and we're still losing. Peyton was moreso himself getting over the hump...ours is a different battle in having a head coach that is completely in over his head.
  15. I’ll just never understand. Guy can’t stop anyone in big games and we’re just staying the course.
  16. This took the air out of that game though. The regular season wins vs them don’t matter anymore.
  17. It should make people angrier at McD. Josh leaves everything out there, played a great game, he was ready for it, has his blood, sweat, and tears on the field. And we have a coach that won’t do any of that. That won’t even put in the work to improve himself as a coach in any way. I can’t believe we’re bringing him back and punting another prime year of Josh. He is going to end up being one of the most tragic superstars in sports.
  18. How is this not Dick Jauron all over again? He basically just said “it’s hard to win in the NFL.” He’s literally Dick with an elite QB.
  19. The Reid comps for McD are completely asinine. Reid went to 4 straight NFC Championship games and a Superbowl with a LESSER QB than Allen while McD has so much trouble just getting out of the Divisional Round. Also, Reid was a terrible in-game manager, still probably isn’t a great one, but they can live with it because he’s always been very proficient with his side of the ball, would you agree? While for us, the primary reason we keep losing in the playoffs is because of McD’s side of the ball despite him being given a tremendous amount of resources for it with money and picks. And he obviously directly cost us the 13 seconds game with his own personal choke job. McD’s defense, his supposed specialty and what he’s supposed to be proficient in, has been our biggest problem in the playoffs, he’s a horrendous in-game manager except we’re not getting the payoff on his side of the ball, and he’s had issues with identifying quality coordinators. So what do you look at with McD and say “wow, I’m really glad we have what he does in this department!” Because I literally don’t see a thing. Jordan needed a new coach to break through, the way they were going was not working. He’s talked many times about how getting the right coach was so integral to what ended up being their Dynastic success.
  20. I could see both Brady and Babich leaving to take OC/DC roles elsewhere even if McD offers them here, for obvious reasons
  21. This is exactly what I feel about McD. There is literally nothing he brings to the table as a Head Coach. His side of the ball gets lit up in every big game despite giving himself tremendous resources, he’s still a horrendous in-game manager, he has trouble hiring good coordinators, he gets worse in the playoffs…I really just don’t get it. I don’t know how people want to keep a coach that doesn’t actually excel at anything and has no strengths as a Head Coach.
  22. Sure, but who hired them in the first place? Or this ST coordinator? Or the other coordinators he’s fired while here? Part of being a good coach is being able to find good staff.
