  1. Ugh why? I'm going to this game. This is one of their worst combos.
  2. I actually really enjoy cooking. A lot of guys do, as do a lot of women. I don't think you have to have traditional roles. Some people like yard work more than others. Sometimes you'll have partnerships where both people don't like to do either and you split them up. Couples can just figure out what works best for them.
  3. Yeah, I'm not blaming anyone for posting this, this is supposed to be a place where anything goes. But really weird that someone is surprised that people might be disgusted by this instead of "entertained". I have no problem with humor and jokes if anyone wants to make them, but there is also a pretty dark side to this that people are going to have a visceral reaction to. Parents and the kids themselves trust these people on such a high level, and most of them are very good people that want to help...but it is really sick that any adult would take advantage of that kind of trust.
  4. Haha the Elam comment BB made is a complete joke. Nobody said anything about an injury for most of the weeks he was an inactive.
  5. It's not necessarily that some of us think the Bengals are a dominant force that can't be beat...it's that we know we have an incompetent head coach that generally is not up to the challenge in big games.
  6. Yea. He had a lot more experience than him and still lost to him in the train fight. Not sure about this move.
  7. Was this the dude that was chirping at Allen during the game last year and actually kind of got in his head?
  8. It's strange that some of you think Elam helps this trade. I see it more like the part in Half Baked when the dude offers to pay even less for a Kenny Loggins album when the woman says he signed it himself.
  9. T-McGee! One of my fav all-time Bills. I think people are still underestimating his length
  10. I liked Sal back in his Justin.TV days…and he’s probably a good guy…but the dude is a total homer now. I’m not sure how anyone could deny that. Weird call from that dude though. But I used to listen to WFAN…people that stupid really do exist.
  11. We probably disagree on most things political…but we for sure agree here. If you do the same exact thing you rail against…you are no different than them.
  12. Setting aside the religious views of this dude for a second… How does this dude not sound like every other corporate warmonger Republican or Democrat?
  13. I did at your advice take an introspective look and reconsidered...but decided to in the future start a thread (which I rarely do anyway) if I have something different to share, even if you feel it's not. Thanks for the feedback though. If I was a Bengals or Chiefs fan, why in the world would I be upset about the Bills having a coach that would be my team's whipping boy?
  14. Right. It’s a microcosm of how he doesn’t do anything to improve himself.
  15. What besides that do you think would help him improve those shortcomings? It's not some kind of inherent quality that can't be changed. Experience, as we've seen, doesn't mean a thing unless you are willing to learn from your mistakes and shortcomings and put in the work to correct and improve them.
  16. Oh God, lets hope not. That would happen a lot less if he was prepared for those situations. But that IS on McDermott. Dorsey is his guy that he could have/can replace, that's his leash, and he is in control to override any call he wants. That's part of being a head coach. His coaching IS the problem.
  17. I think you can do that. I would myself say that McDermott has done a good job of developing some lower end guys that people didn't think would be contributors. But you can also say that and admit that his defensive units as a whole give it up consistently when the stage is brightest and the biggest games are on the line.
  18. I haven't seen that when it comes to the same issues over and over through a long period of time. I don't see this as the same as physical performance where maybe a guy gets bad anxiety in the biggest moments and can't replicate what he can normally do well in that moment. You can literally map out your plans for those scenarios and especially if you are aware that you are struggling when it comes time to execute. I'm not a huge pure analytics guy because obviously this is a human game and I do think it discounts that to an extent..but I do like the of its philosophy on some of the aspects of game/time management, that it cuts the emotion out and maps out the best possible call when you methodically prepare for it before you set foot on the field when you are clear-headed and have looked at all the facts. But again all of this takes preparation and hard work. Think about his whole body of work, from the early years when he literally didn't know we needed a win over a tie in the Snow Game vs Indy, to the ways he's coached and all of his mistakes in all of our playoff losses - some of them recurring - it all points to a guy that just isn't prepared. He's not taking the time and putting in the work to learn from those mistakes that he's made.
