I don't think it's because of the loss in it of itself. It's some of the inherent issues we have that have prevented us from winning a SB that we still see. The defense has big problems. This is a defense that has gotten lit up over and over and over again in the playoffs and it's most likely going to happen again. There's really no strength on this unit and the secondary looks really rough. The WR's not being able to get open haven't really deterred us from scoring big points in the playoffs but it's still a concern. The agitation for me is that it's the same exact issues we've had for years are rearing their ugly heads again and it's hard to see how it's going to be "fixed" by January.

Yeah the Bengals/Broncos at least before the season looked like a solid game to throw on Monday night. I don't know how they thought Jets/Dolphins was.

Yeah I'm definitely not as concerned as with Jackson. He's doing OK under some tough circumstances. Hopefully this won't happen with Jackson but there were people who in Elam's second season when he was still a healthy inactive would be like "he'll be fine, no worries" and it's just strange.

Who hires the people to tell him which way to go on it? He is responsible for it, especially when it's been a problem for 9 years.

Except that's not the case at all. It's that the people that are hired to watch the same thing we do with picture perfect and slowed down camera angles and whom this is literally their professional job to relay what to challenge and what not to are not good at it and have not been for McD's 9 years here.

I mean I still think we can win it in spite of him, but it is true that there is zero accountability for McD. Not for his defenses that have killed us in literally 6 postseasons in a row or his game management including being one of the worst at challenges in the league for such a long time. It's always someone else's fault.

The issue is his booth guys have sucked for 9 years now. It's on him to put the right people in there and he's never done it.

I think it's yet to be seen. I thought ST's looked pretty bad Game 1, and yesterday they looked a lot better. Hopefully this guy can at least count how many men are on the field.
