  1. It's almost painful watching almost every nother offense in the NFL is able to scheme players open. Get their big weapons involved no matter the coverage. Teams that made moves to get weapons for their offense. Like actually decent players. Used to their strengths. Unlike us that send Mack Hollins deep and calls that good enough.
  2. What's really weird is that Samuel had the best year of his career under Brady. Brady knows how to use him. The problem is this system isn't good.
  3. You forgot to say you were gonna hang up and listen.
  4. Kinda want the Patriots to beat the Texans
  5. Mark Andrews is suddenly trash this year. Been dropping balls left and right and just let a ball slip through his hands for an easy INT.
  6. Keon Coleman. He's strong enough to handle Grabby Gardner. Dorian Williams on D
  7. I think any flexibility is based on asking price. For example- Adams for a 2nd rounder wouldn't yield the value Beane would typically look for, I believe. Howev, of Mark Davis were to get all hepped up on the "good stuff" and offer Adams to Beane for a ridiculously low offer...say a 6th...then Beane may be a bit more flexible.
  8. Beane has said on numerous occasions that his philosophy is when he looks at guys as potential trade targets he will not consider players in the final year of their deal. He sees it as needing at least that 2nd year of having the player here and in the building as proper value on any move. If you look at the last couple of deadline deals he made, this reinforces it. Both Nyheim Hines and Rasul Douglas had contracts that extended past the acquiring season. So, if people were to try and speculate who Beane may target...look at guys that have 2-3 years left on their deal.
  9. Gonna have to be an "ex Jet Ty Johnson revenge game"
  10. It's really that part of the season already, huh? Time flies by. We are already ball hyper focused on Cooper or Adams. Everyone setting their hopes up high only to be squashed on players to acquire. I do agree, something needs to be done and I feel like it will be "addressed". But my advice is, lower your expectations. Beane is far more likely to bring back guys like Andy Isabella, Chase Claypool or..,hey what's Tanner Gentry up to these days? I just have a hunch that whomever they nab to help out is going to fall far short of expectations....but at least we get the Buffalo Podcasters blowing smoke up our areses about what a "sneaky smart and excellent move it was". That and Pumpkin Spice are the two best parts of the year
  11. That's what rookie RBs can do? I think ours is defective...what's the return policy?
  12. We pretty much are fielding the JV squad with all the injuries on defense and our offensive skill set isn't even that good without injury. Shakir and Cook have a legitimate shot of missing this game and that will make it even easier to take Kincaid out. Makes Samuel, Knox and Hollins as our top "playmakers". Historically Jest defense plays Allen well when he did have better weapons (Never thought I'd miss Gabe Davis....but here we are). Jets- 23 Bills- 16
  13. People don't stray too far from who they normally are as play callers. There's plenty of information on his tendency and what he likes from his past calling plays. Besides they are gonna wanna run the ball, short quick passes to avoid rush getting to Rodgers. If I can figure that out, the Bills should be able to as well.
  14. Downing is just as bad. What's odd is that speculation was Saleh was fired because he wanted to replace Hackett and lost the power struggle with Rodgers. Doesn't make sense for that to have been the reason...then switch anyway.
  15. Andy Isabella on his way back like
  16. Yes, this is Ai. But hysterical.
  17. This WR room has been atrocious. No other way to describe it. While we know Beane isn't shy about making a trade at the deadline, somehow I think the move he will make is bringing back guys like Andy Isabella and Chase Claypool.
  18. His play style has definitely been different this year in my opinion. There have been many times where he has open field and an easy 1st down and he chooses to stop and throw rather than hit the easy button. Also seeing him slide more this season then I can ever remember. I don't think he's being coached out of his play style either. I think he's getting a tad older and realizes the body responds differently to bumps, bruises and pounding as you age. Perhaps he's making (and this isn't meant derogatory) some business decisions that he hasn't made in the past. It's smart on his part. As far as leaving clean pockets, I voted about the same. Problem is over the last 2 weeks he hasn't seemed to have too many clean pockets to leave .
  19. They love their interim HC too. could be excited to help their DC look good as a HC. He's the Jets names Hackett, I could see your logic Not true. Rich Bisaccia took over for Jon Gruden and led the Raiders to the playoffs. Albeit it wasn't team performance related but he was canned.
  20. So hire a guy and bring him in without time to teach his system, without the players that fit his system and toss a promising young coach aside after 5 games? Jesus, Mary and Joseph some people shouldn't procreate.
  21. He's gonna die behind that line
  22. A lot of words to say I'm correct and McD isn't getting fired if he finishes with low wins this year.
  23. You think that if McDermott drops this team to 6-9 at that point they fire him? With this roster? LMAO...We aren't the Jets.
  24. Oh ffs for the first 3 games it was all "He's easily MVP" and "He's doing so much better now the cancer that wore 14 is gone" to "he's off", "he's lost a step" and now a second post that's borderline complaining he doesn't turn the ball over enough anymore. You want me to "let you know what I think?" Sure. I think there's a whole lotta people here that need to get their meds readjusted, go touch grass and/or pick up a new hobby.
  25. The next 5 games are all very losable as well. it's the NFL. They could be 8-2 or 3-7 after this stretch. Neither would shock me this season.
