  1. He did. But it would be far from the first time a coach signed an extension and got canned shortly after. If Miam ends up with double digit losses, someone will need to to scapegoated. I think both Greir and McDaniel would end up on the chopping block as the owner isn't firing himself.
  2. If they win they would be a Wild Card and possibly be our Wild Card weekend opponent. That's a bye week for us. Plus it would give enough hope for them to run it back with McDweebus.
  3. I see them bringing him back to the PS. Could even see Morrow being a causality of they decided to put him on the main roster.
  4. No. At the end of the season I think this becomes just another "story" the Buffalo media kept alive all year for nothing. I think there's a good chance he's back next year, but with a whistle around his neck ..not a helmet non his head
  5. Because I picked the Colts in an upset in the Predict the score thread. Buffalo always proves me wrong when I predict them to lose. And I'll be picking the Chiefs this week as well.
  6. It's pretty well documented that there is no team Jones hates worse than Philly. I don't know if he makes a coaching change tomorrow...but if anything would prompt one it would be not only losing to but being completely humiliated by the Eagles. At home. Even without Dak. If he doesn't make the switch tomorrow or Tuesday, McCarthy is likely safe for the year.
  7. Seems like a game where someone random steps up. I'll go with Ty Johnson having what will be the best game of his season. Defense...hm. Who's left? Rapps been playing pretty well. I go with him. STs? Ferguson has yet another flawless day
  8. Some people just love to wallow in misery. They say it stems from parents leaving them in soiled diapers too long when they were babies. In the OPs case it would seem this problem existed until high school.
  9. This is worth stating. Officials get one chance at one angle to catch an infraction or not as it happens live. They don't have the luxury of sitting on the couch with a bag of Doritos, having a camera crew zoom in and have super slow replay while knowing exactly what to look for. And they aren't being spoonfed an opinion from the announcers. Add into this that the average fan does not know what actually is and isn't a foul. They THINK they do. But if you read the game day threads you would see just how much a fan knows nothing about the rules Blaming refs has become a crutch for fans more than it's ever been. It's the ultimate "Yeah...but" ideal. Yes officials miss some calls. Or make a call where they shouldn't. But by and large most do a good job if you're being unbiased
  10. Their defense isn't great. But they do have playmakers, force pressure and get turnovers. Out season has ended the last 2 years at home. I don't think it matters that much. Not when our defense cannot stop the run and Lamar has gotten much better winning from the pocket. Our best bet to get by them is that someone else knocks them out unexpectedly.
  11. I'm not getting into all the division races, but my pick for the Super Bowl right now is Lions vs Ravens. I just can't see Buffalo getting past Baltimore.
  12. I fully acknowledge BBFS, but this really feels like the annual "There's no way they should lose this game" that they lose Buffalo struggling to stop the run..oh here's Johnathan Taylor. Flacco was terrible last week...but can heat up. On the road, sandwiched between the Dolphins and Chiefs games. This is the kind of game I see them coming out flat in the first half, letting the Colts hang around and find a way to lose at the end. Colts-27 Bills- 23
  13. She's 65. And still looks early 50s. Amazing what modern medicine can assist with these days.
  14. Take the Bangles. Susanna Hoffs is still a smoke show. Walk like an Egyptian all the way to the pay window.
  15. Yet year in and year out we see guys do just that. Ben Johnson, Dan Quinn and Bobby Slowik in particular have interviewed and later removed themselves from consideration for the last 3 years. Some guys need to take bad jobs because it's their only chance. Dave Culley. Mike Petine. But the top guys who are in demand can afford to wait on a better opportunity.
  16. One thing I'm positive of. Beane isn't asleep. Not like he called in sick today either. With his history nof making trades on the final day (and sometimes the final minutes) of the deadline...he's working on something for sure. Now if it comes to fruition or not is a whole nother conversation.
  17. I think you're spot on with that. I don't think teams are chomping at the bit to give up control (if that's what he's asking) to a HC of his age and mindset UNLESS it's a complete PR move
  18. If Flacco has time he can still do some damage. And with the way our run defense has been for the most part this year...JT could put up 150+. They're not a great team...but they could be a bad matchup. I expect a win but wouldn't be shocked if this is their "we were supposed to win" game that we drop.
  19. He's caught 22 of 35 targets this year. Also mind you some targets he hasn't caught were throwaway passes. Your math ain't mathin.
  20. Sadly yes. Last night I slipped coming out of the shower. Think I pulled a groin muscle. I'm week to week. IR possible.
  21. The Bills beat the Dolphins because the football Gods have cursed them against the Bills in retribution for the whole O for the 70s streak against us. In fact the only 2 times Allen lost to them was the heat game and the Clay end zone drop game.
  22. In what world is Coleman "brutal"? Sure he has been having a drop a game or so and this week's just happened to get grabbed by Ramsey (who made a great play on the ball as much as I have giving that 🗑️ credit). Please explain how he's "brutal"? He looks like an emerging rookie WR. Making big plays. Good YAC. You can't convince me you even watch the games if that's your take.
