While missing out on Strong kinda sucks, it does clear the path for Max to get to see snaps when he gets back. I want him to play as much as possible before the playoffs and have him ramped up completely. He can be a difference maker if fully up to speed.

I wonder if it's money that was counting against the cap that now isn't. Something such as GameDay bonuses from some guys. If they weren't active, that cash goes back to the cap. So Milano missing time, Samuel not being active the first three games, Oliver missing time. If any of them have a bonus based around being active, that money goes back to the pot.

Man, this is exactly the type of early season "gut check" game we had with the Patriots year after year during the Brady era. We would grab a couple of big wins, head up to Foxboro with hopes and dreams of something special, only to have Lucy yank the football away and see out Charlie Brown Bills fly through the air and crash. And we end up getting crushed. Now, we are on the other side of that. I give Vrabel and the Pats credit. They have looked better than last year.
