This is going to be a very fun thread.
-
He knows he can do it. And we know he can do it and when he does it it's beautiful. And much more fun to watch. There are also times where he can't do it. And it's ugly. Real ugly.
-
Yeah, gonna be fun when he gets fired for being horrible at his job. Hopefully, Bills fans remember to troll him hard when it happens.
-
It's what the team is built for. However, instead of Anderson, I would like to see Reggie Gilliam used more in that spot. He can take snaps as a TE3. He can also motion out and see snaps at FB. He could be a sneaky asset in short yardage situations.

Mecole Hardman, Come on Down! (Signed to Practice Squad)
BuffaloBillyG replied to bills742's topic in The Stadium Wall
Exactly. As soon as he's in football shape (and he should be close after going through the Packers TC). At the VERY least he's a good return guy and that can be enough to get him a game day jersey. Then let him run a few Go routes to try and keep safeties back. Can open a lot. Who are you finding at this point in the season? Justin Jefferson isn't walking through the door. This is a guy that has Super Bowl experience, BIG GAME EXPERIENCE, speed and is a good return guy on top of it. He also had made visits with other teams, most notably the Saints and Steelers. So, no he wasn't just sitting home playing Battlefield 6 and eating Nachos -
Mecole Hardman, Come on Down! (Signed to Practice Squad)
BuffaloBillyG replied to bills742's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's a valid question. Will he even make the roster and see playtime is another valid one. This could be a good move that helps elevate our WR core...or it could be the WR version of when we signed Leonard Fournette to the practice squad. Time will tell -
Do you think the Chiefs would beat the Patriots as a 7th seed?
BuffaloBillyG replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
You very well may be right. Jets have won 2 in a row and Thursday games can be really odd The Patriots this year remind me a lot of the Bills the first time we made the AFCCG against Kansas City. As you said, probably a year too early for them, but the conference is weak so they very well may make a deep push. And for the record I would absolutely hate that game being the one to decide the AFC Super Bowl participant. Either KC make a fourth straight SB or Diggs gets to his first. -
So is Landon Jackson done for the year?
BuffaloBillyG replied to billsfan714's topic in The Stadium Wall
The media spin on Jackson was that he was never being counted on for this year. But with both Bosa and AJE having expiring contracts the plan for him was always for the 2026 season. Poor use of a 3rd round pick but ok. Now, it looks like he will miss a lot of if not all the off-season program. So next year, he won't likely be ready to be full go, leaving it kind of a potential lost season working his way back. But man....in 2027...LOOK OUT! -

Always seems to be a guy that has been playing well and I'm looking forward to seeing play again. So wrap Cole Bishop in bubble wrap. -
Mecole Hardman, Come on Down! (Signed to Practice Squad)
BuffaloBillyG replied to bills742's topic in The Stadium Wall
Valid. My hope is that Hardman actually has been used as a deep threat before. Moore and Samuel, even though they have speed is not something either is strong at. Being a legit deep threat takes more than just a fast 40 time. It's the Willie Gault rule. You can have all the speed in the world but if you can't track that deep pass it's no good. -
He beat the Bills and should feel good. Troll them. Trolling the fans is such a cowardly thing to do.
-
What a complete dink. First win over Buffalo in how long. Guys job is hanging by a thread, but he has some time to troll at the Elbo.

BuffaloBillyG replied to bills742's topic in The Stadium Wall
He brings straight line speed which Samuel isn't really that guy. He has some ability to track those deep balls as well. Samuel ran a 4.31 how many years and lower leg injuries ago? Look, as I said up thread...no this isn't a fix all. But you're not going to find many better options at this point in the season. Being they were rumored to be in on Waddle and now this, it shows me they realize they need help there. Makes me a little more hopeful Beane works out a big trade on an established WR or moves up the board to get one. -

If we feed Keon nothing but McDonald's for a month...could he help out at DT? Hear me out. -
Every single point you tried to make when you used the word NEVER was factually wrong. Every. Single. One.

This board kills me. "Do something Beane. We need a WR with some speed" We sign a WR with speed "NOOOOO NOT HIMMMMMM" -

I hear McDermott has AJ Klein strapped to a buffet table fattening him up. Once he hits 275, he will be brought back. -
I may not have all the answers. But I do know this much. Once a coach has to answer questions about one of his coordinators job security....that coordinator isn't going to last long more times than not. I really think this is the beginning of the end for Brady in Buffalo. And no, Daboll becoming available has nothing to do with it.

He's not the answer. But he could be an important piece going forward. Hard to remake your WR room in season. But.... Palmer/Davis/Shakir/Hardman looks a bit better than what we have trotted out the last few weeks Coleman/Shavers/Shakir/Samuel -

Damn! I actually called for this earlier today. There's some speed that knows how to go vertical. Big game experience. Not a cure all but hard pressed to find better at this point -
That would be the week I play him in fantasy....
-
I have a gut feeling that with Kincaid out, this is the week we see Davis up for the first time.
-
Oddly, I feel like they extend Torrence before they even think of re-signing Edwards or McGovern. Beane likes to pay his picks.

Game week thread - Buccaneers at Bills
BuffaloBillyG replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
The general perspective of the fans (not reliable, I'm aware) is they don't expect to see him for another 2 weeks. Which is good because Bucky is skilled...but the Bucs have other good RBs.
