  1. I'm rooting for everyone playing and in attendance to have a bad time and make no new friends. I wouldn't cry if a huge swarm of bees showed up, either.
  2. And I imagine it will be really easy for fans sitting behind the Jags bench to get inside his head a bit. He may make a splash play or two. I'm almost counting on it for the "revenge" factor. But he will likely cost them a big play or two with some drops. Hopefully, they are on 3rd down.
  3. I think it will be low scoring and close. Jags defense has had success against our Josh Allen in the past. Bills-19 Jags-16. Bass will go 4/5 on field goals including the GW with under 2 minutes. People will only talk about the miss. TD for Keon Coleman. Gabe Davis will end up with something like 3 catches for 70 yards and a TD. Two drops.
  4. Perhaps I will do something inspired by these...with a WNY twist. Subs from Wegmans it is😂
  5. So, this is the theme for this season? It's going to be over obsessing and over stressing about the kicker until he's eventually run out of town?
  6. It was a lot of weird stuff, yes. Netflix actually has a nice Documentary about the case. Fascinating. And tragic.
  7. Steve McNair. Loved watching him play ball.
  8. Wow. Just a few years longer ago than that Super Bowl win the Jet fans won't shut up about.
  9. Both teams come in reeling off games they should have won (on paper). There's only 17 games so this is big for both teams. Both should be pretty desperate for the win. I think Baltimore wins this one.
  10. Why do I feel like Gabe Davis will catch everything thrown his way Monday night?
  11. If you have multiple restraining orders from current and former Bills players because you send them a new jock strap as a gift for EVERY holiday. Even the made up "Hallmark" ones
  12. Benched for Andy Dalton. Ouch.
  13. I felt like everything shifted after the Bengals playoff loss. It had kind of been building all season. There were a few times he was a bit animated and overly emotional during a game. I even remember once McDermott having to hug Diggs during a game and calm him down. That all led to the playoffs, which saw him freak out again on the sideline. Which then led to him trying to leave the locker room before the coaches even came back in after the game. I personally feel like the Bills and Josh were doing their best to coddle him. And it took an emotional toll on not only Allen but the entire organization. That Bengal Playoff loss to me was the straw that broke the camels back. I liked Diggs. Still do to an extent. But I've been around people like that before. Those that it's never anything huge...but there's always something surrounding them. It gets to be too much. I think the offense being able to naturally evolve without him is a net positive. I think him getting out is good for him, too. Sometimes change is needed.
  14. So, I take it Mike McDaniel is not on your Christmas Card list?
  15. I saw him asked about something similar to this last year. He wore a hoodie in heat at practice. When asked his response was along the lines of saying that if he's hot he remembers to hydrate. And if he's hot in just a hoodie the players have to be hotter in pads and running around. So he's hydrating and it serves as an example for his players to stay hydrated and manage reps. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/dolphins/2022/06/03/mike-mcdaniel-sweatshirt-miami-dolphins-practices/7508763001/#:~:text=“Honestly%2C it's the best way, injuries and all that nonsense.”
  16. They've never had great QB play. I can't blame them for being excited. There were plenty of people here doing the same for Josh way too early in his career, too.
  17. Really hope the Bears can pull this one off
  18. Have whatever opinion you want to have...but Taylor Swift's presence at the game motivated my 10 year old daughter to spend the afternoon hanging with Dad watching football today. Laughing, joking, snacking and asking questions about football. Been a great afternoon. Thanks Taylor!
  19. Chase was determined to draw that unsportsmanlike flag there. I suppose he just wants to win more than anyone else, right?
  20. In a one on one comparison of his position, I'd agree there's an obvious downgrade. However, 2 games both over 30 points and it allowing the offense to evolve a bit and be less predictable, Id say the offense as a while is better without him.
  21. Tre getting murderized out there...Poyer looked older and slower Thursday...as tough as it was seeing the fan favorites pushed aside in the off-season...looks to be a good call by Beane.
  22. I kinda wanted to see Russ Wilson vs the Broncos Revenge game. But between Nix and Fields whatever the combination pass yards bet was...take the under.
  23. Personally, if he wants to play, let him play. It's always easy to sit back and make decisions like this for someone else. But we don't see his brain scans, don't know what he's physically going through post concussion wise or anything like that. If Tua was my kid this is what I'd tell him. Forget about all the "gotta be there for your team" nonsense. Go see the doctor. Then go see another one. Then go see a third. And just because you can afford it, go see a fourth. Get all the information you need to make a decision from as many independent doctors as you can. Don't listen to the media. Detach from the team for a few weeks. Then make that decision.
  24. It's not abnormal. McDermott has a bad rep for being too conservative and at one point it wasn't unwarranted. In his first 2 or 3 seasons McDermott played the field position game. A lot. But that was with a roster that boasted a young and very rough around the edges Josh Allen at QB. Kelvin Benjamin as the WR1. Guys like Mike Tolbert and Chris Ivory at RB. Not a great OL. McDermott has been good at making decisions based on the team he's coaching. As the offense got stronger/better players he's been very aggressive.
  25. I do think Brady streamlined the amount of routes that were up to both the QB and WR to read the same thing and have the option of what route to run. Far too often last year we clearly saw that Davis and Josh were not on the same page.
