I think Miami at Ravens will tell us something about the Miami Offense. The Raven's Defense is pretty good, (they are favored by 3) but not sure it will say much about the Miami defense vis a vis the Bills. The Raven's Offense is much different than Buffalo's.

I think that the Broncos hired Hackett in an attempt to bring Aaron Rogers when that situation was going on. Russel was a consolation prize and Hackett is not yet a real Head Coach. That is how I read it, the main reason N. Hackett was hired was to bring AR with him, but that didn't work and that was a real bad debut.

Week One is a liar. But Cinci was inconsistent last year as well. I think that the Titans will be good, the Giants will be bad, Atlanta won't be that competitive and the Colts will be good.

I think I only disagree on Hamlin. He is a very physical player and as the 4th safety will have some value on Special Teams.

The manner in which Coach McDermott slow walks rookies I would not be surprised if Cook was not active at the beginning of the year, for a few games.

Practice Squad is nice. Alec Anderson, Giles-Harris, Blackshear, Bryant. Each of these showed well in the pre-season.

Giles-Harris is also a good player. Very physical.

I still think the Bills had their eyes on that second round TE (McBride?) who was scooped up a few picks before their slot. Then they regrouped by trading back twice for Cook. There were a few TE's in the 4th round range who looked nice but BB had traded their 4th to move up for #24Elam. I think that is how the TE room ended up short again this year.

We should clarify which Anderson we are talking about in these posts. J. Anderson is interior OL and A. Anderson is OOL.

McLoud, Mancz, Giles-Harris and Duke Johnson will be rostered.

Specter over Giles -Harris (and McCloud over Giles-Harris) had to be difficult. I thought Giles-Harris was pretty good in the pre-season.

I think Duke Johnson is going to be dressed on Sundays for an NFL team, not on a practice squad.

I see TSW favorite Max Borghi was cut early in Denver and then signed with Pittsburgh. There was a scenario where the Bills might have made a late round selection of Borghi, but that was nullified the way the second round went, and Cook became an available target.

Just last night Duke Johnson looked very good. Better than Cook. The entire OLine was very bad except for Alec Andreson (PS) and S. Brown. Morris was good. Shakir was good. Elam was good, Bernard was bad. Benford was a work in progress. Shaq was good. Boogie not so much.

Special teams looked bad. Taiwan and Crowder did not play a snap, making us believe they are on the team. Duke Johnson looked very good. Better than Cook.
