The Jacksonville Jaguars select Brian Branch a safety from Alabama. The Jaguars could not believe that both Branch and their other coveted player were on the Board at this late point in the draft. Despite the other target being at a more elite position than safety the Jags take the top safety to tie together the back of their defense. Jacksonville has used a preponderance of first round picks on the front 7 of the defense in recent drafts and despite their desire for the other defender Branch is their man to lead the back end of the defense for years to come. The consensus top man at his position in this draft and a first round talent on their, and most boards, Branch it is. The Giants and @inaugural balls are on the clock!

The Packers became much better once Christian Watson healed up and became a part of the game plan. Now Rogers has Garret Wilson and other very good receivers. So the Jets are real good.

Last year was WR draft and this year is the Corner draft. And the Bills are on the opposite schedule.

The Steelers are very happy with the way the board fell, although they would probably switch D. Jones and Joey Porter for A. Harrison and D. Banks, but they have hit the positions of need with very strong talent. Now they strengthen their defense further with Jack Campbell, LB IOWA. This is very athletic coverage linebacker with incredible measurables. A Butkus Award winner with two years College Starting experience. The Steelers need talent at inside LB and are very happy that Campbell dropped. Nice draft Steelers. The Bucs @Bookie_tech are on the clock

I wonder if these DB and CB visits are a result of seeing Tre27 at the workouts this week?

At the 32nd Selection of the TSW Mock Draft the Steelers select Dawand Jones OT Ohio State University. The Steelers really need OL help and feel value meets need at this point. The Steelers hope DJones will be manning a tackle spot early in the season. @Alphadawg7 is on the clock with the Texans

With the 17th pick in TSW Mock 2.0 the Steelers select Joey Porter, Jr. CB Penn State. The Steelers need help in the secondary and they love Joey porter here. If Porter had come out in 2022 he likely would also have been the 3rd CB off the board. Like his father he plays with extreme physicality and is long at 6'3" to compete against the big receivers. Joey, Jr is fast and as stated strong in run support. The Lions and @NeverOutNick are on the clock
