  1. thank god for that. pre-season is bad enough nice little video there, actually got the opportunity to watch Clay catch a ball
  2. Now that is an interesting stat, what it is is a real indictment of Tyrod Taylor, esp compared to an allegedly inaccurate rookie and three other scrubs. So 40% of Tyrod throws to Jones were uncatchable and this year 19%? Somewhat mitigating that is a sure some of those uncatchable balls were the rookies fault for not running the right route.
  3. Edmunds, just like Allen is a physical freak, both were "projects" and grading them at this point doesn't make much sense. Edmunds could be the ideal LB for the new pass happy NFL his with size & incredibly long arms, he should be knocking down passes over the middle, pay attention Brady.
  4. Yeah that is possible, there were more like 25,000 at that event, not sure about the number but there were a lot more than 1,500
  5. Run Right up the gut at inexperienced Edmunds and undersized Milano. No way i see us going CB in rd 1.
  6. Whatever you say about J Allen you can't deny he is fun to watch. Cant wait to see how Belichek defends him, that will be the acid test.
  7. As bad as the Bills are at least they dont have the god awful color scheme of the lions or the Browns.
  8. I agree there has never been a player quite like JA. FIrst one could make the argument that Josh Allen has the strongest arm ever, certainly based on velocity. The Kaepernick comparison imo fails because he got his running yards on designed plays and read option, JA gets most of his yards on broken/extending plays.
  9. 1) I dont miss Vlad, yeah Teller is slow and makes some rookie mental errors but time to move on from Vlad. 2) Allen and his running si, imo, way too early to tell if this is the type of QB he is going to be. I want to see how New England schemes against him, he runs for 100 versus them then I might start getting convinced. I think Cam Newton is a very good comp to Allen. 3) I agree on McCoy, sad but reality.
  10. Sure they are, very easy catch for an NFL player, I am not saying 95% of WRs wil get that type of separation
  11. This is not a great catch, it might be a great play, esp considering Allen is under extreme pressure but itis not a great catch. 95% of NFL WRS are going to make that catch being uncontested.
  12. The Zay sideline catch the week before was not a "great" catch, no way, not by NFL standards, that was a catch that is expected to be caught, as was Foster 75 yards TD bomb, it was not a difficult catch at all. I know exactly what the OP is is getting at and I have said it all year long..each and every week we see these incredible catches on highlights reels, they are common place now, you dont see any that I can recall from the Bills. Another indication our WRs, TEs suck. A great catch would be one late in yesterday's game in the end zone almsot out of bounds, with a defender on the receiver in the end zone...naturally we didnt hold onto it.
  13. Vlad a nice lad was just fad but then so Bad he had to be had, not even a tad, Vad is Mad probably Sad but I am glad
  14. Anyone recall the segment titled "Jacked Up", highlights of players getting slammed & concussed, half the times they were QBs. I think Boomer was an emcee...now instead of glorifying hits like that same announcers solemnly and self-righteously say how terrible they are.
  15. Those quarterbacks took as more damage in a few games as Brady has had for his entire career, no wonder the SOB can play at 41
  16. The article is pretty good overall, my favorite is firing Danny Crossman, author does know the Bills. My biggest disagreement with the article is not properly addressing the O Line, we need probably 4 new o lineman and re-signing John Miller is a mistake.
  17. Interesting perspective. Might be valid, although I think the data set is so limited. Lets look at it another way. For whatever reason, especially considering our O line, our inability for RBs to routinely run the ball, penalties, bad WRs, we are constantly in 2nd and long, 3rd and long. Cossell is correct, he does look for the big play a lot. The last play of Miami he could have hit McCoy for an easy completion short but with a lot of room to run for the first, but he didn't check it down, he goes for first downs and TDs. Bills QBs over the years have checked down way too much so often we see the Bills get 7 yards when they need 8. Allen doesn't do that. To me it is refreshing, and certainly alot more exciting. Brady can dial up 9 yards on a 3rd and 8 consistently, last 10 years Bills would get 7. Brady has been in the same system and has had great possession WRs and RBs for that matter. Allen has played 8 games, his #1 WR was just a bust he was cut. We all know the quality of the rest of our WRs and TEs. Let Allen stay in the system, actually go into next season as the bona fide #1, get some chemistry with receivers. Maybe just maybe you are seeing that with Zay Jones. He missed a wide open Jones in the end zone and that was accuracy, that was miscommunication/lack of chemistry, Allen starts trusting his receivers more he wont run as much and will be more confident to check down.
  18. This, he definitely did do. Gilmore is an excellent CB though, hate to say it, i saw a few key plays including an incredible int vs the Jets, and defended 3 passes, he was a major factor in that win.
  19. Sammy and Marcel would have never fit it to the alleged process, guys that really wanted to be hear, work hard, sacrifice.
  20. It happens a lot as long as the stadium is quiet enough, players scream out to other players ALL THE TIME during the play if they can be heard. They know the nomenclature down esp in the PAts Earhart-Perkins system, one phrase descirbes a lot. Did you ever play and in the middle you tel someone to do something, i have and I am not GOAT. In Foxboro when the pats are on offense you can hear a pin drop.
  21. Are you the same FellingOnYouboty that was so prevalent at BBMB
  22. Answers: 1) Yes 2) Clay 99%, McCoy 50/50 3) Jones & Foster and hopefully McKenzie doesn't fumble 4) Excellent question, he might be 5) Dawkins is salvageable, Teller should improve, the rest can all go
