  1. Yes and what is your point? I stand by it, Says nothing about Allen not being able to eventualy be a franchise QB.
  2. You cant follow what i am saying and you make this inn accurate assumptions. The discussion was how to contain Allen, this week for the PAts, not if Allen would be a future franchise QB, just what he is now. And when did I ever say i wasnt looking forward to this game, I very much am.
  3. My God if you analyzed every QB like that they would all be franchise QBs, NFL is a game of inches, you either get it done or you dont. And to quote you, "Allen had a couple he got away with, but let's chalk that up to his inexperience. " Doesnt matter why, results matter, he isnt going to be that much more experienced a week later. I stand by my point 13 points versus the Pats in Foxboro. odds of us winning that are 1%. I think the much maligned reporter in this thread is correct, keep J Allen in the pocket to win.
  4. We scored 13 points, 13, he was 50% completion and had a few passes that could have been intercepted. If he does the same versus the Pats no way we win. Plus The fact the Lions missed 4 points of reasonable kick points.
  5. That is an incredibly dominant position Belichek is putting that female official in, he wouldn't do that to a male ref , what an incredibly arrogant move, as if he is talking down/lecturing her
  6. Pretty good analysis, especially on Josh Rosen, i can see the David Carr analogy and him being ruined by the Cardinals. His mental toughness and emotional stability were somewhat of a pre-existing issue. On Allen, I would say that he might be the most naturally gifted athlete to every play the position, arguably the strongest arm to ever play. His running ability, at least for the scheme he is in is undeniable and record breaking. He effectively had three 100 yard plus games in a row. Allen is a great leader, willing to work hard, he not only can but i think he should be something special. Give him so receivers that get separation and make circus catches routinely instead of dropping balls and watch how much more "accurate" he gets. His ceiling is as high as any QB i can recall. He "star" WR is a rookie UDFA that we cut once this year, his TE is no longer any good and his O Line is abysmall.
  7. Good point. I recall once when the Bills played the Jets on Thursday, jets all Green Bulls all red, it was absolutely hideous to watch. Almost as bad as that red turf on for Eastern Washington.
  8. So some numbskull fan will go ahead and buy a $90 red jersey to complete the set
  9. I remember that place, i thought it was a steak house, was that on Big Tree Road?
  10. Yes that is exactly what he was saying. Another example of why posting here is so futile sometimes.
  11. Yesterday we seemed to really be pressing the deep ball too much. I mentioned to a friend it was if a drunk Bills fan was calling the plays. Once we had three in row, punted, next series had 2 out of 5 with the final being the TD to foster.
  12. thank god for that. pre-season is bad enough nice little video there, actually got the opportunity to watch Clay catch a ball
  13. Now that is an interesting stat, what it is is a real indictment of Tyrod Taylor, esp compared to an allegedly inaccurate rookie and three other scrubs. So 40% of Tyrod throws to Jones were uncatchable and this year 19%? Somewhat mitigating that is a sure some of those uncatchable balls were the rookies fault for not running the right route.
  14. Edmunds, just like Allen is a physical freak, both were "projects" and grading them at this point doesn't make much sense. Edmunds could be the ideal LB for the new pass happy NFL his with size & incredibly long arms, he should be knocking down passes over the middle, pay attention Brady.
  15. Yeah that is possible, there were more like 25,000 at that event, not sure about the number but there were a lot more than 1,500
  16. Run Right up the gut at inexperienced Edmunds and undersized Milano. No way i see us going CB in rd 1.
  17. Whatever you say about J Allen you can't deny he is fun to watch. Cant wait to see how Belichek defends him, that will be the acid test.
  18. As bad as the Bills are at least they dont have the god awful color scheme of the lions or the Browns.
  19. I agree there has never been a player quite like JA. FIrst one could make the argument that Josh Allen has the strongest arm ever, certainly based on velocity. The Kaepernick comparison imo fails because he got his running yards on designed plays and read option, JA gets most of his yards on broken/extending plays.
