  1. I really hope not, very nice man and all but beyond his familiarity with McDermott i dont see what he adds at all.
  2. I thought it was a year as described by OP, my mistake then, thanks for the correction.
  3. I have always hated the expression "just pay the man his money" fans blurt out without any thought. So if Milano wants $100 million we should just pay it? Not the way the real world works. Also i think we have way to many one year deals out there. After the first two seasons of purging, I would like to think we could have some continuity here, isnt that part of "the process"? For example if Ty Nsheke ever gets extending playing time at T and performs incredibly high, we can pretty much forget about signing him to anything realistic.
  4. We should just see people as people, no more "qualifiers" or descriptions. People are people, Short people are systemically discriminated against, there is clearly a tall privilege in this country. I think we should also stop describing people as ugly or handsome, it isnt fair to the ugly. Good looking privilege exists, Describing girls with big breast is sexiest and should be immediately stopped and we should have quotas of fat ugly, flat chested as well as male and trans cheerleaders, We should stop talking about bald people, not "fair" they lose their hair, Smart versus dumb also has to stop. Why is it smart people get more money higher paying jobs on average. That isnt fair. Oh it goes way beyond skin color, our society has a lot lot lot of work to do.
  5. Los Pollos Hermanos , correct me if wrong but translated the Chicken Brothers, Unique name
  6. Reading some of these responses, so typical. When Belichek signs on of our former players people running around in panic. But when the bills do it, ehh, it doesn't really matter anyway.
  7. Yeah they got humiliated by over 40 points to San Fran and stayed over in Arizona and beat them in overtime, Fitzpatrcik was QB and they went to his house for a day, he lives out there. My question is can they leave most of their game day equipment/clothes there or do they have ta cart it al back? I would thin they could leave it all there, let the Meadowlands clean the clothes, etc.
  8. Very accurate comments on offensive but we have potential superstars on D, Tremaine Edmunds, Tre White , Ed Oliver. Guy that arent as potentially splashy but able to put up big plays include Poyer, hyde, milano, J Hughes, Lorax.
  9. Oh they snuck him on IR did they. As far as the Bills getting rid of Peterman, they had no choice, for the sake of both the team and himself he had to leave, the waters were polluted. I for one hope he succeeds, he is a "good guy" and I believe in redemption.
  10. LOL, good one. I just don't understand why Bills fans continue to be obsessed with Peterman, weird. This off season there have provably been 10 threads about Peterman.
  11. If they cant overcome the departure of Shady then there is something radically wrong with the coaches and organization. yes they should be uspet .....for about half an hour and then get back to work.
  12. First two paragraphs, yes Josh is smart and hard working, never said or intimated he wasnt, great. Doesn't mean a damn thing unless it translates in success in live real time action. The "accuracy narrative" (your pejorative use of narrative) is a borderline fact, throughout Allen;'s entire career, at any level, he has never completed more than 60% of his passes. And I use the term "borderline' only because "accuracy " is subjective and impossible to prove as "fact". The hero-ball narrative, no I did not adopt that because of what i have read, i have seen him do it, watch his film at Wyoming. He did it repeatedly. Maybe these "narratives" exist because he earned them. You and I will disagree with the Joe Montana comment. Yes I believe Montana "earned" he right to take chances in pre-season, Allen not even close. You play like you practice. Yes lets HOPE he learns from it, you make it sound like it is a good thing he made a mistake so he can learn from it. I would prefer my second year quarterback not to make on off balance across the body pass to the middle of field trying to muscle it home but that is just me. Dont get me wrong, I love Josh Allen, incredibly nice guy, smart hard working, team mates appear to respect him as a leader, has incredible physical tools. Lets hope it all "clicks". I think any objective observer would admit the jury is out on Allen.
  13. Ford at T to me is a great sign they have a lot of confidence in him and he could prove to be extremely valuable OT for years to come.
  14. Good point on the part of Joe Montana but really Joe Montana and Josh Allen are about as close to polar opposites as i can imagine. Montana "earned" the right to screw up in pre-season, Allen isnt even in the same conversation at this point. Would he throw that pas in regular season, dont know, it certainly would not shock me. His entire career he has been accused of trying to play hero ball and force throws using his power. I think money played a factor, if they were paying him $1 million to be one of a grouip of RBs i think they would have kept him, not for $6 million. He isnt even close to an every down back anymore.
  15. Jets are favored, Jets a re a good team, divisional foe at home. If we lose, it is not the end of the season by a long stretch. If we win is of bigger magnitude than if we lose, this is a game we are "supposed" to lose.
  16. 4 AFCE wins are at the upper end of realism imo. I am going to assume we can sweep the Dolphins, the Jets are a good team, beating them at home wil be very difficult, we are a 3 pt underdog right now, that is a tough divisional road game, a game we are "supposed" to lose. We will also be underdogs in both Pats game. A road lose to the Jets and 2 to the Pats gets us 3 in the AFCE. So to get to 4, we have two win both Dolphin games (we will be favored), beat the Jets at home and THEN take on of 3 games we "shouldn't win, Jets road, and 2 pat games.
  17. Great write up as always. One thing I will disagree with are your Allen comments, yes he had two very good pre-season games but sadly, the last game he played he looked anything but "Allen looks poised and comfortable. ". That int he threw was as bad a decision as he has ever made. Yes one pas and one pre-season game but after I feel less confident in Allen. He simply can nt be a competent NFL QB making such poor decisions.
  18. Articale is spot on. Bob McNair was a weak owner, way too loyal to "nice huys" and coaches, kept David Carr waaayyy too long because he was a nice family man and devout Chritian, Carr was such a good family man he was usually one of the last in and first out the door everyday. To make matters worse, the Texans select a project LT in rd #1 from Alabama State. And THEN turn around 4 months later and mortgage their future for a medicore run om the mill NFL starting LT in Tunsil. Beyond bizarre, Cal McNair was very luck with one investment, Cogen, made a furtoune flipped it for too much money to greedy Enron. As lucky as he was and rich , wasn't too smart. Cal on the other hand has never accomplished much of anything without Daddy's help. Going to be a very dysfunctional franchise.
  19. FWIW this tracker has both the Bills and Cowboys signing Nate Hall https://nfltraderumors.co/nfl-practice-squad/
  20. Great backs that are versatile still command a huge premium in the NFL but just a handful, Exekiel Elliot, Barkely, Gurley, McCaffrey...they can be game changers. And the NFL has learned RB's half lie is very short if they have a lot of touches. I never though McCoy would last as long as he did with the Bills.
  21. Yes he did mislead BUT i think they were trying to trade him so I assign zero blame for that.
  22. Yeah just wait til the Pats put up 400 yards rushing against us, Brady declining, build the defense and go back to winning lower scorer time consuming short pass and run oriented offense.
  23. McCoy tel tell us all once and for all time who has a strong arm, Mahommes or J Allen?
  24. A bit of a stretch for a story, If McCoy was 28 he would still be on this team."Long and regrettable chapter"? Yes the NFL is now largely not a one RB league anymore.
