  1. Why we hang on to Webb Davis and dont sign Hollister to the PS is beyond me. Lets just be honest about it and hire Webb as a Coach, assistant to Ken Dorsey.
  2. Operative word is rookie. As I have always asserted, Jones is the most intriguing rookie this year, he could be a total disaster and worse than Cam 2020 or s star.
  3. He will be like Fitz. To start the season his arm will be strong, over the season it will deteriorate to the point at season end he will be worse than last year, have an arm at that point to rival Tua's.
  4. I think that is the entire point of this thread. For probation use my ICON (I will abandon) or the "toy" that mentioned Brady thrown on the field a few years ago. For the top levels a mix of Beane/Mcdermott?J Allen.
  5. As per Warcoded wrote, consider hiring Davis Webb in as a coach, that is his value to the Bills. His pre-season performance was enough for me.
  6. So all these are guys arent "really known", LOL Geno Smith, Russell Wilson, Colt McCoy, Mark Sanchez and Ben Roethlisberger. Two will end up in the Hall of Fame but I guess they aren't really known. Wilson had a great Q4 versus Belichek and the announcers were incredulous. Pats were up by i think 2 TDS and Wilson stormed back with under 10 minutes to go and won with an incredibly high QB rating.
  7. I want Greg Rousseau and company to introduce himself to Mac Jones. He aint in Alabama anymore.
  8. Good observation, he was never going to outrun most NFL CBs or safeties, he might as well add some girth and get harder to bring down.
  9. Great data. Off the top of your head or with your data base, can you identify who the rookie QBs he faced thus far. Tua would be one. After all, those rookies were play against his year are all early-mid rd 1 QBs taken and all except for the rock star, Trevor Lawrence has played well in pre-seasons. Would be nice if we could play these rookies early in the season.
  10. Hope you are right, I dont know what happened to Singletary's "fire" last year but he looked like his "old" self this pre-season.
  11. Makes sense imo, that number was carefully planned out. You always would prefer the tickets to be "hard to get" and the ticket prices to help pay for it will increasae and hence lower demand.
  12. Never happen. It would be the smallest Super Bowl of all time. WNY doesn't have the infrastructure for the game, not enough hotel rooms, bars, restaurants, etc, airport couldn't t even park all the planes. And lets not even mention the weather possibility.
  13. I am calling BS on the Dee Virgin-Deshaun Watson linking
  14. Got that right. You think an unvaxxed cam Newton is going to jeopardize the season for the Pats, with his goofy antics, not a shot.
  15. We will have him for both our games with our AFC East back end season weighted
  16. I think you are on to something, Beane didnt go on and on about players during the last game for no reason, he had an agenda. I always liked Bam and wish we had kept him, seems like a classic Bills pick of late, great physical attributes, very long arrms but very raw.
  17. If that is a legit criteria then you have to include Jon Gruden and his stock has slipped massively. probably why the pats fan started this thread so he/she can bask in the glory of the greatest cheating HC in NFL history.
  18. Right about that, one of the worst trades of all time with the excuse they didnt want to pay DeAndre. I have mentioned it multiple times but the DJ trade for Deandre Hopkins was the beginning of the end for the Texans. If the owner had a room temperature IQ THEN he should have fired Bill O Brien as GM-HC. Everything spiraled downhill quickly after that trade. Bill O Brien ruined the Texans for years.
  19. Davis Mills, the stop gap draftee QB was dreadful in his last pre-season games, 4 ints. Tyrod isnt the great runner he used to be, still holds the ball too loosely which cost him one fumble. Texans are pretty bad. Going to be a real laugher when the Texans meet the Jags, two worst NFL teams by far imo.
  20. Cooks would be ok not a material upgrade from what we have, Johnson, too old too worn down.
  21. No you have me wrong but go write it down if you want.
  22. I agree, the one that really has to "show up" is Edmunds. Oliver is pretty much as advertised and Star does a decent job eating space but Edmunds. With the Pats heavy run influence this year with the big O Line and stud rookie RB, they are going to run it down our throats and Belichek in the past has keyed on Edmunds who Belichek can out wit.
  23. No I dont think so, we have the rookie speed returner we can develop.
  24. If and that is a BIG IF the Texans had any common sense, you think they should keep an old vet returner Like Andre Roberts or acknowledge they are in a major probably multi year rebuild and look for young talent. I think they already did that be releasing JJ Watt.
  25. Excellent shot he gets axed. He is their 7-8th listed WR and is second behind the infamous KeKe Coutee as a returner.
