One that catches everything thrown to him and is hard to tackle. His been resting for a couple years. I guarantee he's better than Sweeney. And McKenzie is not a WR.

Whorlnut, roll your eyes! LOL all you do is rag on the mistakes made even from the wins. You pose zero value. At least this suggestion is a possibility (not probability) and could help the team.

Call Gronk! Ask if he wants to win one with the home team! He would do wonders for our SB push!

Jordan Poyer Mic’d up .. love this guy
sunshynman replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’d keep Micha over Poyer, if it comes to it. But no doubt he’s an all pro. He needs to show the rest of the dbs how to tackle! He appears to be the only one that can do it consistently. -

So did we win? -
History Porn!

The announcers were bad. The officiating was horrendous! Phantom holding and PI calls. And not calling the same on the Browns.
-
Yes oline is another issue. And agreed more talented route runners would help. But playcalling is the core issue currently. That a Josh never taking the dump offs.
-
Wast a problem last year as much. The routes in the red zone are not good. No one is getting open. Dorsey needs to study last year's tapes. We schemed guys to be wide open in the RZ last year.
-
I remember Dawson catching a few last game. Didn't help much in the end. Allen was pressing and redzone playcalling was bad.

And The Cheaters are the anomaly to everything. Brady and Belichick cheated their way too many wins. If that's how you want to get the Lombardi then hire Bill and hope he can produce the results with Allen. But I suspect he wouldn't like Allen, too much of a gun slinger. Every other SB winning coach in the modern era does not have multiple SB wins. Not Payton, Not Reid, Not McVay. This staff is our best bet at winning a SB. The only owner that would swap out coaches from a powerhouse team would be Davis. Because it would be crazy!
-
I would support him, but it would be asinine to change coaching now. We went from basement dwellers to contenders under McD. You run this streak out, that's all you can do. The upheaval that switching out the coaches could destroy the team. Unless McD starts yelling at the public like a drunk sailor, starts attacking woman, or kills someone; he's not getting booted. This staff is our best beat for the SB win in the next few years. Let's hope it all comes together. It's hard for it all come together at the right time in the NFL. Look at the Pat's they had to cheat to do it for so long!

Josh overthrew him on a long sideline throw. He had a step or two and a good pass was probably a TD. Other than that, I think he was in just a few other for punt returns. He needs to play/practice with Josh to gain his trust and timing. Should have given him the rock on a few pitches, sweeps, screens, etc. Hopefully more touches this game. But it's going to be hard giving Motor, Cook, and Hines touches. And they elevated Duke, not sure why. Maybe we see a focus on the run and quick throw game. That has been needed since Josh's started struggling!

Only rookies wear underwear!

Here's an idea, QB is struggling, let's lean on the RB's and the short/quick passing game. Wilson killed us with the 3 step drop and throw all game. We refused to call those plays and our Oline got our QB almost killed. I'm sure some of its on Josh trying to be the hero, but the play calling should have forced him into a rhythm and taking what they were giving. Their front 4 killed us and we gave them the time to do it. I wish the team could bail out Josh every once in a while. He's teamates need to tell him, I'll get open short and quickly. Or Singultary/Cook says lean on me, I got you! I put 50% blame on play calling.

Trade Deadline (Nov 1) Bills Rumors / Speculation

I don’t believe so. That says franchise players or transition players (not sure what that is). I don’t believe regular fa’s have a deadline. “Clubs participating in the playoffs are permitted to sign free agents throughout the postseason, but are limited to a total of four free agent signings, including players on other clubs' Practice Squads, during the period that begins at 4 p.m., New York time, on the Wednesday after the final regular season weekend." There was a rule proposal this off-season to not allow playoff teams sign players cut from non-playoff teams. That didn’t pass. I don't know that any team has tried this before. I think the Steelers signed someone in December in 2020. I doubt OBJ last through November before signing somewhere. -

OBJ is an FA. He can be signed at anytime. He could sit there until the day before the Super Bowl and still be signed. -
He coached a hell of a Defense in Buffalo!
