You are correct, they are counting the 2 3rd down attempts even when we went for it on 4th. I had thought that the when going for the 4th, it wouldn't count the third down attempt in the stats, but they do. I stand corrected.

They don't count it as a failed 3rd down if you go for it on 4th. It's either a failed or not 4th down attempt then.

How about we start with a coach that has been an Offensive line coach in the NFL before! Not some retread TE coach that spent 2 years before as the assistant OL coach. Guess what our OL has sucked for the past 4 years. Get a known commodity at OL coach and ditch the old retread players while your at it. Our plan was to bring back to OL that has ok success at pass blocking last year. And were terrible at run blocking!
