  1. Hoping we don't have a slow start like they've been doing. Gotta start hot and quiet that crowd.
  2. McDermott better start Douglas. I dont wanna here crap about learning. If Dobbs can come in and lead the Vikings to a win at the damn QB position, then there isn't a reason Douglas can't play.
  3. Rasul and the other two better be active and play. I don't care about terminology, these guys are vets. Let their instincts fill in the gaps. This isn't a game to be coaching timid.
  4. I actually find his schtick kind of annoying. I think he tries way to hard, but hey he's having fun doing what he does
  5. Gat dang that dude has some tree trunks for legs
  6. Two things here. The NFL already picks and chooses when New York wants to chime in and correct penalties. It's absurd how they do it, there's no rhyme or reason to when or if they do it. Second, I think something like this on every game would lead to an over-correction. There's penalties on almost every play and if there were people who's job it was to focus on penalties with video of several angles, the game flow would be beyond terrible.
  7. But, but, but he tried baiting them to jump every time. You know, the bait to jump off sides that we always do and everyone knows that's what we're trying to do.
  8. For all the sheit Dorsey gets, he gets a game ball tonight. He called an excellent game know diggs was going to be a focal point of the Bucs.
  9. Even if it's not, the respect defense will have to give to the run will open the passing game up.
  10. Beane and McDermott know our defense has multiple holes with all the injuries. Getting a back like Henry could allow for a change to a ball control offense thats goal is to keep the defense off the field as much as possible. In a sense, you'd be fixing the defense with one move on offense rather than multiple moves on defense. Think about it, what's easier? Trade for an absolute beast of a RB or a starting CB, LBer, and DT?
  11. He's also running behind the o-line that helped block for the league leader in rushing last season. Taylor is good, but he didn't do it by himself
  12. The thread subject literally is about taking away Josh's running. It's quite obvious my comment was about Josh and not the entire offense. I'll leave you to your book since it seems like you may need to read up a little more.
  13. McDermott needs to face the fact his defensive is decimated and he needs his offense putting up 30 a game. This defense won't hold anyone under 20 the rest of the year
  14. A defensive starting backup corners, backup linebackers and a backup DT. And McDermott handcuffing his biggest offensive weapon.
  15. Teams know theres an emphasis of Josh staying in the pocket and that they've taking the run options away. Belichek ain't no dummy and has schemed up pressure packages to keep Josh uncomfortable. This is why you don't take that weapon away from Josh and you let the kid play his game. They could at least mix it in a bit to keep the defense thinking about it rather than scrap it completely.
  16. Seemed like there was a lot of movement across the board. 49ers lined dropped too. Scoring across the NFL has been down
  17. Now sure. You could of said the same thing about baseball and basketball 30 years ago. Not sure if you are old enough to remember the "Dream Team" that dominated basketball in the Olympics in the 90's. We all know to well how the NFL is trying to go international and this is the stage to spur interest internationally.
