While I believe Spencer Brown has potential, let’s slow our roll. Spencer was a huge liability against the Titans and will need to significantly improve if the Bills are going to reach their ultimate goal. Hopefully the OL stays healthy and continues to get better as the season progresses. Teller would have been solid at OG but Spain was a liability at the time. Sometimes players just need a new start.

Any given Sunday. However, I want to see the Bills get out to a fast start scoring TD’s and not settling for FG’s. Bring pressure on Tua, control the trenches and the Bills should win.
-
Would love to see Gabriel more involved. However, I’m expecting Gilliam will be on the field more with Knox out due to his blocking. Either way I want to see improvement in the red zone. It’s been a combo of things but the playcalling has become questionable once they get to the opponents 20.

Scouting The Tennessee Titans (Week 6 2021)
TFBillsfan replied to Dont Stop Billeiving's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills need to play well to win. Historically we haven’t played well in Nashville. Will be important to get off to a strong start. Control the trenches, keep Henry bottled up and bring pressure on Tannehill. Easier said than done but I’d be pumped if the Bills secure a W and get to the bye week at 5-1. LETS GO BUFFALO! -
Canadians to be allowed into USA by early November
TFBillsfan replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
Never made sense especially with the current policy on the southern border but that’s a whole different topic. Glad to see more Billsmafia will finally be able to attend. -
I never understood why Roberts was lined up at WR to open the game. We had Diggs, Beasley and Davis plus others. After the opening ball that hit him between the numbers resulting in an INT, I think that was the end of that experiment. Unfortunately, the game didn’t get any better after that.

Having a more reliable TE and improved running game just makes this offense even more dangerous. Defenses have to try to scheme to stop one of our playmakers (for example Diggs) and then Beasley, Sanders, Davis or Knox can go off. Which opens up the running game and then to make it even more daunting you have to account for Josh’s scrambling or running. That’s a lot of pieces for a D to shutdown. If the Bills execute, it will be tough to stop them. Contain Henry and bring pressure to Tannehill and I like our chances. LETS GO BUFFALO!

I can see both sides of this. Bills free up space next year so extending Levi doesn’t give me any concern. If they decide to draft a CB it’s never bad to have depth. There’s also something to be said for keeping your players that are performing. It’s crazy to look at the roster now as Beane has done a great job. Getting harder and harder to make the roster. I could see the Bills drafting a C ((Tyler Lindenbaum Iowa) if he were there. TE depth or OG. Otherwise the roster is stacked. Great problem to have.

I expect this game to be a slugfest. Bill’s defense will need to be physical and control the line of scrimmage hopefully forcing the Titans into 3rd and longs. If Milano isn’t 100% I sit him this game as well. Last year, the Bills played their kick returner at wideout which had horrible results. Josh hit him right between the numbers that bounced off of him into an interception on the first series. If I recall we gave them multiple short field possessions. Getting to the bye week at 5-1 would be sweet. LETS GO BUFFALO!

Collinsworth was almost impossible to listen to.
TFBillsfan replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
Typically I could careless about the announcers but last night was horrible and in prime time to boot. Al Michaels needs to hang it up as he really brings nothing to the table and Collinsworth was blatantly biased. The whole game I kept thinking could you imagine Gus Johnson calling the game! Sad that NBC doesn’t do anything to address it. -

Bills and The AFC: Three Games In
TFBillsfan replied to ngbills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For the Bills, assuming they execute against everyone else, games against KC, Tenn, Saints, TB and Carolina will go along ways to determining their playoff seed. Four of those games are on the road. Colts if healthy will be a tough game as well. But then again after 3 games it’s all speculation at this point. -
Picking up Edmunds Option a Rare Beane Mistake
TFBillsfan replied to Billy Zabka's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not sure I understand the negativity regarding Edmunds today. I believe he lead the team in tackles, one more than Milano and also batted down a pass. Is anyone directing the same level of criticism to Hughes based upon what he’s being paid and being MIA thus far. It’s amazing what some want to complain about. -
Maybe I’m in the minority but Rodgers seems to have a sense of arrogance that rubs me the wrong way. His overall body language when things don’t go as planned and it seems it’s always someone else fault. I don’t recall him being like that earlier in his career. The guy is certainly a HOFer though.

9/26/21 Bills vs. WTF Postgame Thread
TFBillsfan replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lets hope. Edmunds and Milano lead the team in tackles today. Good to have Star back. -
Really only two things that didn’t go well today. 73 yard TD screen for Gibson McKenzie failure to catch the KO Otherwise just an all around SOLID performance from the coaching to the players. At some point this season, really would like to notice Hughes making an impact at DE though. And that’s two special team blunders in two out of three games now. Gotta tighten that up.

Just win baby! Coming to the game with my family from Atlanta. Looking forward to be the Bills clicking on all cylinders. -
Something to keep an eye on: Point differential?
TFBillsfan replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bills are 1st in the league in points scored and 2nd in points allowed. Man, we played like junk in week one! Lets go pound the Texans next week! -
Levi fined 9.5k for “taunting”
TFBillsfan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Spitting on someone is less of a fine than what Levi did. NFL really needs to evaluate how fines are assessed. -
9/19//21 Week 2 Bills @ Miami Postgame Thread
TFBillsfan replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nice solid win. Will never complain with winning, especially winning by 35 pts! D looks really solid and performing well as a unit. AJE, Groot, Ed, Milano, Zimmer, Taron Johnson and Wallace all had strong games. Offensively, they haven’t clicked on all cylinders since the playoffs began last year. Much better balance this game and the more they can make the D account for the running game the more it will help the offense. It’s great when your QB has a meh game but still scores 5 TD’s and knowing Josh doesn’t have to always have his best for us to win. A few things that stand out after two games: Beasley hasn’t been much involved. Would like to see more crossing routes and ability for YAC. RB or TE screens Josh is having to make a ton of tougher throws as it seems he’s under constant pressure Looking to see how Daboll adjusts based upon trends the opposing teams see. Concerned about the lack on consistency picking up 3rd and short from the running game. Lets go Buffalo! Lets beat WFT. -
Hopefully he’s only out for this game. But IMO, Bills need to address this position in the off-season. Harry isn’t it and Zimmerman is a complimentary back up. Certainly not getting the cart ahead of the horse but DT, TE, secondary help and a future center to replace Morse will be needs going into the next offseason. Hopefully those additions make us even stronger as defending SB champions!

Called this evening as my discounts were expiring. Gave me another 12 month credit of $60 per month ($720) and free Sunday ticket. Same as last year. Really have no complaints with the service I’ve received from Direct TV. Been a customer since 2007. LETS GO BUFFALO!

Brandon Beanes Presser today…informative
TFBillsfan replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not at all. My point being our TE’s are probably in the bottom five of the league and we did zero to address it. In reality is Sweeney an improvement over Lee Smith though? -
Bills open practice 9/1 and media
TFBillsfan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Chiefs have stud WR’s as well but having another weapon at TE opens up the offense even more. Also our WR’s were mitigated by a physical Chiefs secondary in the AFC Championship which only adds more pressure for the TE being able to make plays.
