  1. 13 total yards for the Bills!
  2. Still have not made a first down! SMH!
  3. Not sure we’ll get a first down before half. Doubt Benjamin is back next year as he’s just too inconsistent.
  4. Not sure I can watch 16 games like this. If they are going to be this bad just be bad to get a top pick. This offense looks atrocious. Stack the box and make NP beat. Allen should play after week four at this rate.
  5. 2.1 seconds of successful pass blocking is down right embarrassing. That’s literally about the time it takes to receive a shotgun snap, look and throw regardless of the coverage. ANY QB will struggle mightily with that type of pee wee football blocking. I don’t have high hopes that this improves anytime soon.
  6. Until the game against the Bengals, my mindset was Josh had exceeded expectations and out of the three QB’s he gave us the best chance to win so I was okay with him starting and going thru the growing pains. However, no way do I start him with the hot mess of an OL in front of him. Until the online improves and can at least provide 3 seconds of pass protection it serves no purpose to put him out there. I had hoped our OL would at least be serviceable. Peterman has played well, but less face reality. If we were ranking starting QB’s, Peterman would be ranked last. While he has been getting the ball out quicker, defenses will make him beat them deep and take away the middle, forcing Peterman’s weakness (arm strength) to throw the out or deep ball. IMO, this will be a major rebuilding year for the Bills. Major OL concerns, a starting QB that can’t make certain throws, zero pass rush by the front four and a weak LB core. Unless this team drastically exceeds expectations, I feel we will be drafting in the top 5 next year. I’m actually okay with that as I can at least see a plan. Upgrade OL, LB, WR with draft and cap space and we finally should have a strong foundation and balance on both sides of the ball. If the season goes south, I could see them moving Shady later in the season for more draft picks. Love my Bills and hoping I’m 100% wrong, but this season I’m setting my expectations lower based upon what I’ve seen thus far.
  7. This OL is a hot mess from the starting five. Heaven forbid someone gets hurt as we have no depth outside of Teller. It’s going to turnstile city this year trying to pass block. I normally discount the preseason but our OL is consistently losing basic one on one matches. Our coaches would have to be blind not to have the same concerns.
  8. Reality is Mahomes sat a year and the Chiefs added additional players to help him. No different than letting Allen sit this year and the Bills add playmakers and upgrade the OL in the off-season. Allen has done nothing but impress me thus far. I like his moxy, his arm and thus far the accuracy concerns seem over hyped. The game didn’t look too big for him today behind a pee wee OL. Put Mahomes on the Bills right now and I highly doubt you’d be posting the same comment!
  9. How about two preseason games and keep a 16 game schedule. I see no value of going to an 18 game schedule other than greed.
  10. Any Bills fan ripping on Allen or Peterman right now needs to reevaluate their fan card. Allen looks like he’s going to be a good one. Peterman has certainly improved from his first season. Regardless of who starts unless the OL significantly improves it won’t matter!
  11. Glass half full. Thought these guys played well. Murphy Peterman Croom Edmunds Allen (all things considered) Very Concerning: OL pass blocking Zero pass rush
  12. The problem I have is the Bills WATCH this happen and do nothing but whine about it until after the game. AW, Gronk hit and now a repeat offender doing again. They had plenty of opportunities to let Landry know what they thought about it on the field. Not one player confronted him , got in his face, etc. For cripe sakes stand up for your teammates! You’ll rip off a helmet or punch a guy in practice but when this type of BS happens you don’t do squat! If you won’t do it in a preseason game, I doubt you will in a regular season game!
  13. With the addition of Todd Haley and Greg Williams, I could see the Browns this year being better than Baltimore and Cinncy. Now they just need to prove it. I still think the Bills edge them out though in the win column. TT isn’t going to lose them games but not sure he will win them many games with his arm.
  14. No doubt that Peterman has continued to improve but his skill set is more of a serviceable QB. As I watch this competition unfold, I keep asking myself if the Bills get down 10 points in a game, what QB on the roster can bring them back. My eyes say that is Allen by a big margin. AJM injury stinks as that may accelerate Allen starting sooner than expected. Peterman’s arm strength concerns me every time he throws a deep out. I don’t any defense fears him beating them deep consistently. Prior to his injury I was hoping AJM would play well enough to start at the beginning of the season, but his play was very conservative. Not the best scenario but at this point but I think Allen is the starter unless the wheels fall off.
  15. It’s actually encouraging to see the Bills have more than 53 players who are competitive to make the roster. Shows our overall talent is improving!
  16. Hope they can improve the OL personnel when rosters are reduced! In its current state it is certainly a major area of concern.
  17. Thanks for putting this together! My two biggest areas of concern after two games is overall linebacker play and overall rush defense. Based upon observations thus far our LB group has to be in the bottom five of the NFL. Milano is having a bad 2nd season and Edmunds is still learning. Hoping we can upgrade when the rosters are reduced. Very impressed with Allen and Murphy. Not impressed with Ducasse and Milano.
  18. Depending on where we draft next year would love to see us add Noah Fant, TE, Iowa. But if a stud WR, is available then that takes greater priority.
  19. Ford had two false starts and missed picking up a block that resulted in a sack. Not a good night for him.
  20. IMO, it’s McCoy, Ivory and Murphy. Ivory has a 2 million guarantee so I doubt he would get cut. Jones, Cadet and Ford are going to have a hard time beating Murphy out!
  21. “We saw that inconsistency factor and low completion percentage. He only completed nine of 19 passes for 116 yards and a touchdown but we also saw his biggest strength. He showed off that cannon of an arm. The very first play he threw a 60-yard bomb down the sideline. Granted it was out of bounds but so impressive. That strength is a huge reason the Billsdrafted him 7th overall.” Obviously this guy didn’t watch the game. Four dropped balls that hit receivers in the hands. That would change his line to 13 of 19 for 68%. The kid made all the throws last night! Loved what I saw from Murphy last night. McCoy, Ivory and Murphy should be 1 thru 3. Cadet, Ford and Jones aren’t even in the same category as Murphy IMO. Kid looked legit last night!
  22. I don’t understand how any Bills fan didnt like what they saw in Josh Allen last night. I taped the replay of the game and watched it closely. Sure he missed a few throws but what QB doesn’t. I’m in no hurry to rush his development but I certainly expect to see him start at some point this year unless AJM or NP shock us all. I know it’s splicing hairs but those same throws to the 1’s would have most likely netted 17 points. The pass to Foster should have been caught and in regular season they would have kicked a FG instead OG going for it on 4th down. I counted at least 4 passes that should have been caught which would of changed his completion percentage. He was calm in the pocket, showed the ability to scramble and made plays. It’s refreshing to have a QB regardless of down and distance that can threaten a defense from anywhere on the field. All things considered I was very pleased with his debut and don’t understand how anyone couldn’t be.
  23. Not jockeying for him to start yet. But let’s at least give him some time with the two’s next game!
  24. Adding a player like Mack would be great, but realistically I’m not sure he would add more W’s to our win column to justify how much we’d have to give up. Our biggest weakness is our offense. We need to determine if we have a franchise QB in Allen first. We need a #1 WR, OL help and we will need a replacement for McCoy soon. Do we really want to give up draft capital and that much cap space to acquire Mack?
  25. Early indications point to AJM starting the season which I expected. I just hope he’s not a newer version of Trent Edwards. I have zero confidence in Peterman at this point. Hopefully JA continues improving and takes the reigns at some point in the season. With Murphy’s injury history, no way do I throw in the towel on Lawson. Still young and basically in year two due to injury. Was hoping Teller might push Vlad as he’s a weak link on the OL. This is an unique year as if this team exceeds expectations, they really have a great opportunity to add playmakers and depth to the roster next year. Something we haven’t been able to say or do for years!
