  1. I agree. It's for sure a once in a lifetime deal. Even with a decent job, I am not in the "I can pay 1k a ticket for a baseball game" bracket! But more than happy that people in our area can enjoy it this summer. The cool thing is it does show that Buffalo is a viable baseball market.
  2. Looks like they start at $350 dollars a ticket for the "bad seats." Up to 1k a ticket for the better seats.
  3. Tried to get tickets to the Houston game at 10am, each time I tried to checkout it said Oops these tickets are no longer available. Checked Stubhub at 10:11am and they already had tickets going for three times the price. Love the Jays and was looking forward to seeing Yordan for the Astros. Guess Ill have to wait until closer to the game to see if Stubhub goes done. Not paying 175 a ticket.
  4. Oddly enough I think the over the top stuff works for one year. I think they'll be a wild card team this year, and he will still be fired half way through year four. Stuff like this motivates guys for awhile, then it gets tiring.
  5. I agree. And TBH I imagine the change from Man to Zone, is a lot easier than a Zone corner trying to play Man. He is an upgrade you can sign for a few years.
  6. My brother in law is a huge As fan so hoping to get to that one as well.
  7. Dude said the sorrow from the death was eased by knowing she was doing what she loved..... Her remains were crapped out of a bear and his sorrow is eased? I dont even know where to start with this guy.
  8. A lot of pressure on him so to a point its understandable. It would help if he wasnt trying to hit an exploding powder ball 500 feet.
  9. My family and I are just finishing up a trip to OBX. Glad to be out of NY for a bit. Had to stop at a toy store to buy something for my niece and the woman working there said "how are you about masks?" Way more relaxed down here.
  10. There is no contest. Its Brady and Rodgers only enters the conversation after Manning
  11. No, what I said is no one should trade up into the top ten to draft anyone other than a cant miss prospect (there are none) or a QB. Trading up into the top ten, is a lot different than sitting at 10 and picking a player. Your logic is flawed in two instances, first not all positions are equal in football, and secondly trading up isnt the same as using the same amount of money in different denominations. Trading up, especially for player who isnt a QB, is like paying the same amount for two different lottery tickets where the potential payback on one is significantly lower than the potential on the other. Using your money analogy, and applying it to moving up: trading up into the top ten to draft say a CB is like paying $200 dollars for a lottery ticket that may yield $450 dollars. Trading up into the top ten to draft a QB is like paying $200 for a lottery ticket that may yield you $5,000 dollars long term. Bottom line for the Saints to get up to ten they will most likely have to give up their first this year, 1st next year, and possibly a player. For a team thats planning on rolling out either Taysom Hill or Picks McGee at Quarterback that makes absolutely no sense.
  12. Agreed. Unless the guy is a once in a lifetime cant miss prospect (there are none) or a Quarterback, there is no reason to trade up that far.
  13. It may be tempting at first, but when the initial shock clears your head you have to keep Rodgers. The one thing I'd never trade if I were an NFL GM is a known franchise QB. Teams spend decades trying to find one.
  14. It is a lot of money, but one thing to keep in mind with Karlos is he has seven children. I believe two of them are from the first lady he had children with. He made 365,000 a year for two years he played. Given that salary his child support is probably upwards of 3k a month. I am sure its been adjusted since he went back to regular work, last I read he was hanging drywall while he wasnt playing football. He was compensated handsomely but he also wasnt living the average life of a person in his twenties. He probably wasnt driving a 1997 Chevy Lumina, renting a crap hole apartment, eating ramen, and wearing clothes from Wal-Mart. With 7 kids, and nice things 730,000 in the bank isnt lifetime money.
  15. And completed a ton of them. To the wrong team, but completions none the less.
  16. It makes complete sense for them not to take a Quarterback this year. Lock is terrible, and their coach is a lame duck. With the new GM in place, they need to wait until they hire the next coach to grab a new QB, that way the entire organization will be aligned. If you take a QB this year you screw with their development once you fire the coach in the offseason. I am not sure the move makes a ton of sense given that the best case scenario for them is 3rd place in their division. If Lock throws up on himself it does give Fangio some sort of saving grace. But the end result is going to be the same, at best they are a 7 win team who win fire their coach at the end of the season.
  17. Literally no one was rapping in that clip. Just a guy singing poorly with a ton of autotune and what sounds like a metronome behind it.
  18. Shouldnt take that long. He only made 730,000 as a football player and he hasnt collected a football check in five years now.
  19. Two years too late for the Falcons as well.
  20. Saw the video on Friday. Incredibly sad, but liked his perspective. Said he wouldnt change a thing.
  21. 5am Sunday morning......Sounds like someone had a long Saturday night and didnt want to be anywhere near the car when someone else showed up.
  22. WR and RBs wearing single digits is stupid too. There was literally no good reason to change the rule.
