Bills rumored to be a suitor for OG Roger Saffold

Another point to that is quality lineman are available come free agency however quality skill position players rarely are available come free agency -

I really think the Bills should target TJ Hockenson in round 1 and at 9. Ive mentioned this a few weeks ago but I think Hockenson deserves his own thread. We need to build around Josh Allen giving him weapons and protection. TJ is the ONLY player in the draft who can help out our offence and also help our oline in one single pick. He is a stud blocker and is solid between the numbers much like a George Kittle. TJ is a massive upgrade to two positions with one single pick. Listen from around 17 minutes mark. https://art19.com/shows/move-the-sticks/episodes/eadc9e03-ff2f-43e1-b1bf-362db60a4e73 Great points about how a young QB best friend is a solid TE. I think there was some stats on how Allen loves tossing the ball between the numbers and a solid TE would be beneficial. Hockenson is also ranked high and isn't a reach for those that think he is. Ranked 5th overall on Jeremiah big board. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001018821/article/daniel-jeremiahs-top-50-prospects-for-2019-nfl-draft-20%3fnetworkId=4595&site=.news&zone=story&zoneUrl=url%3Dstory&zoneKeys=s1%3Dstory&env&pageKeyValues=prtnr%3Dpath-to-the-draft%3bplyr%3Ddesean_jackson%3bplyr%3Dfletcher_cox%3bplyr%3Ddeforest_buckner&p.ct=Path%2bto%2bthe%2bDraft&p.adsm=false&p.tcm=%23000&p.bgc1m=%23EAEAEA&sr=amp Check out some of his highlights (blocking) Catching

Well no chance he goes in the first now. Tough blow for him.

Hes a throwback old school TE that can block and catch. Very interested in him. Not sure hes value at 9 but trade back absolutely. But if you think about it, with one pick we improve the oline and offensive weapons for Josh with one pick. No other player in the draft can impact both like TJ can

Mayfield was more impressive to me to do it as a rookie QB and also simply being a Cleveland Brown. -
Let the games begin lol Should be a good influence on R Foster on how to make wise life decisions haha

Which is a better investment? Offense or Defense?
DJB replied to iinii's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree defense wins Championships. But without and offence you don't make it to the playoffs. -
The halftime show is for chicks. I take the opportunity to take a leak or a dump.

Soooo why is he here? Its petty obvious but maybe too difficult to grasp. -Veteran presence on how to be a pro - Ability to break down film together - Help with the Bills playbook - A comfortable sounding board for Josh to ask questions - Help teach Josh making checks at the line and reading the defence. etc etc The list goes on and on. I dont have the article but there is one with quotes by Josh Allen on how much of a positive influence Anderson has been for him.

Tyson Crosby? Kenny Stills and Rick Nash? Pretty sure Nash just retired due to concussions, doubtful hes willing to play football now. -

I'd much rather have C Ferrell who I view as a more prototypical DE -
Here is my take on drafting WR and QB. You have to draft them because quality ones simply dont ever become available at free agency time. We drafted our QB last year and it has worked out, now we need to draft a WR high if we think he can be a #1. Otherwise who we getting in free agency? Crabtree? Way too old. Good oline and d line are usually available come free agency . Not WR. If we think DK is a potential stud #1 you draft him. Fill the oline and other needs through free agency

Edited to show Marquise Brown . Under the weather atm lol

No question the QB'S should have gone 1, 2, 3. Allen was a steal where we got him.- 53 replies

A few of my thoughts : - The usual mocked OT in Little and J Williams aren't even the top 2 tackles with J Williams projected as guard. - Greedy Williams way down the list - Jacobs has been getting buzz but in the top 10 is interesting . - Simmonds is not a name we see often but ranked top 10. - I love Hockenson and see why he's ranked so high . A complete TE that can block and catch passes . An old school throw back. Might be an interesting pick as not only could help the oline but also catch passes and stretch the field for Allen -Marquise Brown a polorizing player . Big upside but he's so small - DK ranked high is excellent for us. He would be higher if it were not for injury concerns Former NFL scout now works for NFL network
