  1. Not going to win too many games giving up 28 points
  2. Our pathetic D is going to make a lot of ***** teams look good.
  3. I can see our O is going to have to score a lot of points cause the D ain't stopping anybody.
  4. Unfortunately, our O is a product of a D minded HC and when they are unsure with the changing of the times, they revert back to "old school" tactics that worked 20-30 years ago.......expect a lot of boring, yet productive Bills games this year. It seems our coaching staff is always playing "catch up" with KC every year......KC sets the pace and the standards with their innovation, and we are just trying to keep up, but always one step and one year behind.
  5. I'd take a big bodied WR in the playoffs any day......Worthy looks like he would be lucky to see the whole season. The dude is a twig and looks frail. Wait and see when it becomes the "norm" for LB's to tee-off on Worthy, just to prove that he can be caught and corralled. Let's see how he plays when the big boys are squaring him up.
  6. This was in KW, Ontario, Canada.....at the time, the seediest section of town, if not the province. The city and the cops eventually incarcerated a whole slew of guys, razed the old neighborhood to the ground and created a parking lot for most of the area.......it was a time and area they would rather forget.
  7. Worthy is the guy you want in the regular season.....Coleman is the guy you want in the post season.
  8. The "hoodlums" were actually the Henchmen motorcycle club, who were taken over by the Satan's Choice, who were eventually taken over by the Hells Angels, so we had a lot of action going on in that neighborhood, i can tell you and ain't nobody wanted to mess with another man's business. .........seeing KKK members being tied up, chained and dragged behind an old Dodge Duster is something i will not soon forget, nor should it have been something a 5 year old kid should ever witness.
  9. We used to hear gun shots all night and wake up in the morning and find shell casings all over the road on our way to school......husbands would be out in the middle of the street smacking their wives and girlfriends around (nobody did nothing or even attempted to step in).......cops were called out to the old neighborhood every 20 minutes (sometimes they showed up and sometimes not)........street brawls were the order of the day. The KKK opened a chapter across the street......until some of the neighborhood hoodlums drove them out of town, tied-up and dragging them behind an old Dodge Duster. When i was a kid growing up in the middle of all this, it was normal and just the way it was.......it wasn't until i grew up that i realized that the whole thing was just wrong and a terrible environment for a kid to ever be raised in. Looking back now, it was some wild, wild stuff, man.
  10. Most of my old neighborhood got turned into a parking lot.......hey, they paved paradise and put up a parking lot (but my old neighborhood was far, far from paradise).........true story right there.
  11. WTF?!?........bwahahahahahahahaha The point is that co-workers went through my personal property. I mean, when you work at Mcdonalds like yourself, no one really gives a rats ***, but when you have a high-up, well respected position where 100's of people answer to you, the daily log/report/journal is the only thing you have to keep you out of the court and legal system sometimes. I wouldn't expect you to understand when you're standing at your fry-o-lator all day but aim high and you could make your way to burger flipper in no time.
  12. I'm still irritated that with a WR class so deep, we settled on one...........one, for christs sakes. I really think that Coleman will be more than adequate for us, however, there is no reason why we couldn't have double-dipped in the WR pool, but alas, we have been over this issue pre-draft, post draft, etc.
  13. Let me put it into perspective of having an 18 year old dog..........I told my wife yesterday that if our dog was a kid, she would be in university or college by now. That's a long, long time to have a dog and have a pet commitment.........and not that i am complaining, but you are fairly limited for what you can do in your everyday life and especially when the dog gets older and requires more care, help and attention. I know my wife felt relief yesterday and that a great weight was lifted off her shoulders, as the dog looked to my wife as the main caregiver.
  14. Yesterday was brutal......it didn't actually hit me until we were at the vet and while we were waiting and watching the whole process take place, i remembered what a vet from 10 years ago told me when i had to put my other Lab down......"sometimes, putting a dog down is the last act of kindness that we can give them".......and once that thought rolled into my head, i blubbered like a little kid.
  15. Yeah, we will definitely be in the room when it's time. I had to put my other Lab down about 10 years ago (cancer) and was with her the whole time.......she stared at me, looked off into space, and fell asleep for the last time. It was peaceful as hell for both of us.
  16. It's only been within the past 2 years or so where her vision was getting bad, her hearing was going dim, her legs were shaky and having trouble carrying her weight. She's spent most of the past 2 years just eating and sleeping, with very little pain that we could tell, however, she was always prone to seizures every once in a while, throughout her life and yesterday she had another one (a seizure with an 18-year-old dog is not a pretty sight) ......and that's when my wife finally decided to let her go.
  17. I'm going to put the old dog down at noon today.......18 year old Lab still acts like a puppy, but can't really walk anymore. My wife was waiting for a sign that the dog was ready, but it's not like the thing is going to look at her and say, "well, todays the day", so you make a judgement call and live with it. 18 years is a long time for a big Lab, so you weigh the options for the quality of life, you make the decision and understand that they don't wake up one day and start to feel better, can miraculously see and hear and can walk normally.......it only keeps getting worse and worse. It's a terrible day. That is all......carry on.
  18. I'd give her the best 10 seconds of her life......i'd definitely be the ole 2 pump chump with that one.
  19. .........poor JA never gets the love.
  20. I don't make the bed, my wife does it.......i taught her right.
  21. I actually admired the Steelers a number of years ago......they never seemed to be in re-building mode, just re-loading and it always seemed to be working for them, as they had always been competitive, but now i have no idea what the hell they are doing.
