We've got some neighbours coming over..........i don't know if they drink or not, but i do and that's a good night for me.

I think the only reason they're coming over is they think we're the cleanest house on the block...............yeah, just think about that for a minute. Just let it sink in, my friend.

You know, Shaw, you and i may have not agreed too much in the past and we may have had our differences, but your explanation of the "system" at least makes sense to me and it's an explanation that i can at least understand and accept. If members of the BBMB had have known this in the past, it may have made things at least a little bit tolerable in understanding what the hell was going on over there. As i mentioned in another post, to me it felt like if "you weren't a part of the solution, then you were a part of the problem" and i don't deny that alot of times i took the BBMB and the CoC to the limit, whereupon you get so frustrated with the inconsistencies, the bickering, the fighting, etc. that you just kind of get sucked into the whole scenario and see how far you can take it..........maybe even push the limit a little and see how far under peoples skin you can go. Honestly, i felt bad for T&C (i pushed him to the limit a few times). I had nothing against the guy. I just think that a lot of times, he felt the brunt of my frustrations with the BBMB and from what i saw, he wasn't one to back down, which created 2 guys not getting along. I never took it personally........i honestly had nothing against the mods at the BBMB at all, but all i asked was some consistency right across the board. For the most part, the BBMB was a great place, but as you know, it had its fair share of days of pure bedlam and chaos. Thank you for your explanation.

I gotta clean the friggin house, man...........we're having some friends over for a small party tonight and my wife kept asking me all week to clean the house. I was like, "yeah, yeah........no problem" cause it was like 4 days out and me and my son were playing video games and watching bowl games and then she reminded me at 10pm last night that i promised to clean the house today. Here's a tip, gentlemen...........if you're going to agree to something, make sure you're listening to what it is cause i almost feel blindsided, even though i vaguely remember agreeing to clean the house. Son of a.........

Yeah, i remember when the mods started picking off posters one by one, making sure they got perma-banned over nothing..........i was almost there a few times, but i argued the ever-changing interpretation of the CoC. Live by the CoC, die by the CoC.........you can't have it both ways. The problem was the ever-changing interpretation of the CoC by the mods. It seriously got to the point where members didn't even actually know what the rules were anymore cause the mods were trying to interpret the rules as to the way they saw it and the way they interpreted the CoC.

Yeah, i hear ya. After the season ends, i look forward to the draft and then have to wait another 5 months for any ball again. I don't get depressed, but it seems like a long, longgggggggggggg time before Sept. rolls around.

I was just checking out the preview to Wormwood the other night..........my wife wants no part in watching it, but i think i'm going to check it out. I guess my wife just doesn't appreciate our younger days when we used to drop some wild A-bomb and just see wherever the day/night took us.

I honestly can't remember how i made him cry, but i know that we were arguing back and forth on his misguided interpretation of the CoC and it got personal...........some vicious attacks were said by both sides and then i got a PM by him stating that i made him cry..........and then i got a temporary ban from another mod saying that i disrespected a moderator by making him cry. Like, good grief, man..........suck it up. Each and every christmas, T&C would give me a temporary ban...........he knew how important it was to me to wish all my BBMB friends a merry christmas around the holidays and with a temp. ban, i couldn't log in until midway through January. What a douche-nozzle.

I got an infraction on the BBMB for making T&C cry...........seriously and then i received a 2nd one from a different mod right after that one for disrespecting the moderators...........by making T&C cry. Those mods hated me and i don't know why cause i was the most beloved poster of all time on the BBMB...........alright, people liked me a little bit............okay, everyone hated me.........don't judge me, man!!!!!

Check out Eloy..........the're a cross between Pink Floyd and the Allan Parsons Project. They were HUGE in Europe back in the day, but didn't garner too much attention in North America.

KW, like Shady is a guy you can build a franchise around..........unfortunately for Kyle, his time is short and he may never see the fruits of his labour.

I've got a HUGE T-shirt collection..........my wife wants me to keep throwing them out, but she just doesn't "get it". I've told all my family and friends that when i die, i don't want anyone dressing up........t-shirts and jeans, man. My son just bought me a new Iron Maiden t-shirt for christmas. You see........he "gets it".

My wife started watching Rectify and then i sort of got hooked on it. It's very slow, but the show needs time to break down the characters and even though there's not a whole lot of action, the story and premise are excellent...........it gives you a lot of "food for thought" and makes you wonder how you would ever get through the same scenario as the main character. Check it out.

I'm just wondering if Ralph may have been going a little senile by that time and when he heard the name Rob Johnson, misheard it as Jack Kemp. "We still have Jack on the roster?............start him!!!!!!" - RW

The mods at BBMB were one step away from fascists and seemed to have their own agendas.

Oh christ, i remember that chaos..........i denounced the Rex hire right from the beginning and was deemed a bad fan because i didn't support it. But lo and behold, 1 year later everyone seemed to have amnesia and people came out of the woodwork denouncing Rex and OBD for ever giving the guy a contract. That place was not only bi-polar, but a sounding board for never-ending arguments.

I was a member of the BBMB for years and what i found was that everyone fought all the time...........everyone was always wrong about everything and the petty quarrelling was monotonous. Mind you, as the saying goes, "if you're not part of the solution, then you're part of the problem" and i may have had a small part in the never ending chaos, but when your views and opinions are constantly being thrown under the bus, well then you just kind of go with the flow and create bedlam as a backlash. I love this site. Everyone seems to get along well and respects each other.

I actually thought the officiating was fairly good. It almost seems that every time an NFL game is played, there will be at least one controversy surrounding some ref decision or other. The bowl games and college games in general have been officiated fairly well...........there hasn't really been a whole lot of controversies, waffled back and forth calls, missed calls, etc. The refs seem to have things well in hand. Meanwhile, back in the NFL..............

We had a good rivalry with the Kelly/Marino era, but now it's like watching a dumpster fire and a trainwreck on a collision course.

It would sure be something to have only 2 teams in the same era go 0-16.............Lions & Browns. At least the Lions had a little light in the tunnel with future prospects..........the Browns wouldn't know how to get something right even if big neon signs were pointing the way. Aye Carumba
