  1. BM: Bill, any input on the draft rooms' inner workings? BP: Get off of my lawn. When is Jeopardy on?
  2. Karma....one of those weird things. CU calls their Buffalo...Ralphie! OBD should ask permission to use same name to honor our previous owner.
  3. Gunner props here. Enjoy your day! Risner is a likely pick at 40 as can play OT/OG/C and contribute immediately too. Winowich or Ferguson in play - Winowich can play DE or Zo's position as better athlete. WR Metcalf or AJ Brown in play here too. Don't think they do TE til next pick.
  4. What a testament to his fanhood and an organization that appreciates it. Amazed how he expresses how grateful he is to be included. One of the great ones for sure!
  5. Hey OBD who needs the $20mm training facility when you got a horse?
  6. Bobby Johnson, was here under Joe D'Allesandris in 2010. And here is PR on his hiring. Was in Indy last year as Ass't when they retooled their Oline. https://www.buffalobills.com/news/bills-name-bobby-johnson-as-offensive-line-coach
  7. Not sure this is wise move as you may just create another hole on Oline. Waddle is not a starter at NFL level or an improvement over Mills. OBD would have to use their 2nd pick for an OT that could come in and play right away.
  8. New Era hope you enjoy 1st guys night out. I had Open Heart surgery almost one year ago. Feeling better than ever. Speedy recovery my friend.
  9. Great news to hear. I am pretty new but like your takes. Keep rollin'! We just need a Bryant Johnson, Super Mario, AB trade or Flutie transitioning topic to get you to 10K.
  10. Maybe but not necessarily. McDermott, Sirles, Ducasse, Bodine would likely be first 4 out the door. Boettger and Teller may have PS eligibility a would a late round OL draftee. The 6 new FAs likely make squad. And Dawkins. Teller would likely be 8th OLineman then.
  11. I have him pegged as the long haired dyed blond version of Chris Kelsay. Put his motor in Rashan Gary and call me back!
  12. Nice draft OP! I am not a Snell fan so would look at a different RB. Also feel one of the 2 volunteers on roster make the team so would use. Pick elsewhere.
  13. OP loved the draft at the top. Wilkins and Deebo are playmakers and help immediately. Like the Miles Sander pick at 48 OT pick at 74. Would use one of the late picks (maybe last one) on a size/speed WR developmental prospect so we don't risk losing them in as UDFA. Believe the Cory/Corey fight at Punter will yield the right man so not sure drafting one is warranted.
  14. As we are T-6 days and counting to draft, I wanted to note some exhibited behavior by OBD in the draft that will likely determine what they do next THU-SAT in Nashville. Trade around in Rd 1. OBD has shown aggressiveness to move up for targeted players and back when they feel need to acquire picks. In 2017 the Bills dropped out of Rd 1 Pick 10 for pick 27 and a 2018 1st rd Pick and change in a deal with KC. In 2018 the Bills made a pre-draft trade with Cordy Glenn to move from 21 to 12 in Rd 1. And on draft day they moved from 12 to 7 (Tampa) using 1st Rd pick and 2 second Rders 53 and 56. Also jumped up to 16 from 22 in Rd 1 trading Rd3 (65) from CLE that was obtained in Tyrod trade. Trade up in second round to get targeted players. In 2017 both Zay Jones (2nd and a 3rd) and Dion Dawkins (3rd and 2 5ths)were targeted and grabbed in Rd2 using later picks in same draft. OBD sets the table based on who's coming (and going). 2017 was about accumulating some picks while addressing CB, OL, LB and WR. At CB, Bills still had Darby but had lost Seymour in FA so need pick. Tre White became CB1 immediately as evidenced when OBD dealt Darby away in preseason. OLine pick was attempt to fill RT adequately. Dawkins never played there and moved to LT with Glenn injuries. Milano emerged as a real strong WIL in this D over the course of 2017 season. WR was a need as Goodwin and Woods had left and Jones was seen as effective WR2. Weird how all top 3 picks were asked to play a bigger role as rookies than we thought on draft day. With how things played out they were crucial parts of rebuild. Tre is an A so far, as is Milano with Dawkins a B and Jones a C in my book. 2018 we needed a QB and MLB as key positions and no starter ID'd. Thus Josh and Tremaine targeted and drafted in Rd 1. OLine, TE and WR was a need as well but was not adequately addressed. There's a reason we signed 6 OLs, 3WRs and 2 TEs in FA! 2019 could leave OBD without 2DEs on roster as Shaq and Jerry could be gone. Drafting a DE now may reveal OBD's intentions with either guy or both. Pre-draft Depth chart is a tell. Today there is no clear starter at 3t DT, WR1, TE, RT, or CB2. These are the places I see RD1 and RD2 picks being used. And could see OBD move up/down to get draft capital to move around to get their guys in early rounds. Bills have 13 OLs under contract with majority on interior. Most OLs have to use 8 players in course of season due to injury. Bills have adequate depth now but with Waddle and Spain and on 1 year deals could see OT and/or OG drafted for long haul. Seniors and Freaks only need apply! Josh and Edmunds were underclassmen but OBD bet on their superior athleticism and Football intelligence. Almost all their other picks were Srs and captains of their teams. Back to the Future. Like OBD was in Polian/Butler days - there is no discrimination against smaller school players. Reed/Beebe/Ballard/Tinsdale have their equals in Allen/Taron Johnson/Siran Neal as Bills scouts look for smart, tough and versatile players at any level that could help. Sometimes a player that is an obvious fit is not so obvious. Getting to Know You. Some great work by @YoloinOhio tracking all the Bills 30 visits, Prodays, Combine meetings and Astro's (Dean Kindig) reports on contacts will show which players the Bills have spent time with. There are very few exceptions drafted who have not met with the Bills one on one. I will be looking at this data over weekend. All in all it seems much less pressure packed than last year as we have a QB and filled some holes in FA (not an option last year). I won't hazard a guess who the Bills take first other than to say I doubt it will be at the 9th pick in Rd 1. Hard for Beane and co. to break some clearly defined habits IMHO.
