  1. I am definitely more of a football fan then hockey, and I was talking to a friend of mine about the Sabres and because I root for them but don't know a ton about them, I asked him why was signing Eichel such a great move if they were the worst team in hockey last season. He got somewhat defensive and started telling me all the moves the Sabres were making to be a great franchise in the future. He made me more optimistic, especially with this defensemen they are supposed to draft whose name I won't try to spell. So it got me thinking about the Bills, who outsiders will say lucked into the playoffs last year and most aren't high on this year. What do you tell an outsider about the Bills to make them "Billieve" we are heading in the right direction? I'm sure we all get defensive about our Bills, how do you get others to "trust the process" as well??? I look forward to reading what you guys say
  2. 1- McCarron starts all 16 games and plays well enough to keep Allen on the bench 2- Shady continues being Shady and rushes for 1200 yards 3- We split with the Pats
  3. I don't want to get my hopes. I'll read the article and think, 7-9 or 8-8 and then they'll go 14-2 and win the Super Bowl
  4. I guess then I would have to "trust the process," I just want to know for sure he is mentally ready for the game and we don't "ruin" him And that may be the case, but based on what others have said, he needs time to develop into an NFL qb, I'd prefer they waited and not kill his confidence with some tough outings. If the coaching staff believes he is ready, so be it
  5. Every year they are mathematically eliminated I try to root for them to lose but it never works for me and I find myself getting into the game and upset if they lose. Based on most things I have read and I don't pretend to know how to evaluate QB's other then knowing guys like Aaron Rodgers are good, what I want is to not see Josh Allen on the field under any circumstance. I want him to be developed "properly" so he can be molded into the franchise QB we all want him to be
  6. And maybe not include players who played on last years team as well. But nice write up, fond memories of many of those players
  7. I'm always a Bills fan first, so whoever is wearing the buffalo on his helmet on Sundays is the guy I am rooting for
  8. I really like Jordan Poyar. I hated the signing but it was only because he was on the Browns. Loved watching him play last year
  9. I think 1 may be in play, especially if the Browns like the top 4 guys equally, they would still get guaranteed a guy they like with 2 additional firsts this year, a second and probably a third. In addition probably next years first from us too.
  10. Friend of mine sold Zay a mattress last year during training camp, said was one of the nicest young men he has ever met. Very polite and down to earth. Praying for a speedy recovery and a great 2018 season proving all the haters wrong!
  11. I always thought he was a real POS, that shot on Carpenter was real dirty and would want nothing to do with him on this team. Wouldn't have wanted him when he was elite, definitely not now that he is even older
  12. I remember Jamie Mueller from Tecmo Superbowl
  13. http://draftwire.usatoday.com/2018/02/07/2018-nfl-mock-draft-full-7-round-projections/ I would be happy with these selections, what do you guys think?
  14. I said yes, however I would like to see another 2-3 solid years from him in a Bills uniform and a C on his jersey to make me feel better about it. I love how he has embraced the community after not wanting to come here
  15. I'd love to see James Washington from OSU, I think he would be a nice compliment to KB and Zay
  16. I say I won't because the Pats are in it but I'm sure I will. I would have had more faith in Minnesota beating them then Philly, so that adds to me saying I won't but I'm sure I will anyway
  17. I laughed some, then cried a little
  18. What do you think we would get for him? I would guess 4th based on his injuries this year or possibly a 3rd
  19. I did notice he's always there celebrating with his teammates. I noticed Wentz participates in team celebrations with the Eagles as well, I like that. I know the two aren't connected really but I like the unity it shows. These are young men having fun and I think that mentality keeps you loose and leads to wins. Agree totally, seems like a great kid on and off the field!
  20. I completely agree. I'm afraid we are going to get Cousins in free agency and use our picks to build around him instead of taking a shot at one of the qb prospects this year. I don't want an average qb anymore who will win us 7-9 games, I want a game changer
  21. I was a kid when he played here so I can't speak to the x's and o's of his play , but he certainly did seem to bring some magic to the franchise when it was needed. Really wouldn't mind having some of that magic back now.
  22. That would make me like him even more
  23. Literally LOL'd, thank you! Listened to Ruben Brown before him on the JMS. He was a good listen on the show and a chef in his own right
