Is it just me or if Allen misses a couple passes high early, you know it’s gonna be a roller coaster ride all night long? -

I’d hope not. They’ve won 5 of 6 before playing an 11-1 squad and will still have a one game lead in the East. It’s a very losable, or winnable, game. -

I’m really worried about what Hayward and Tuitt are gonna do inside. Watt and Dupree got all the hype and numbers on that front 7 but those 2 big guys up front ruin teams run and pass game’s with their penetration. They don’t get nearly enough credit -

Daboll was calling games for Allen way different last year as well. Settling for 3’s or field position battles really aren’t their thing this year. -

Live in north west PA. About 90 min drive from Buff, Pitt, and Clev. Lots of fun banter this week. Talked in passing with probably 8-10 “stiller” fans this week at my gym. I was very surprised not a single one picked them to win or came at me with their usual gusto. They are all very worried about their squad and acknowledged the lack luster lineup of teams they’ve played. .... all that said. This feels like a get right game for them. But maybe the Bills are just “Dat dude” right now. All about whose healthy and hot heading into the end of December and it feels like these teams are headed in slightly different directions. -

Desmond Howard actually went with Allen. That’s makes the whole foxworth comments about it even more awful. He left that part out because it wouldn’t have perpetuated the white racist narrative. -

A-FRICKIN-MEN! I’m so sick of the “fly under the radar” crap. No thanks. Put us on the radar please. -

Everyone knew Josh wasn’t good enough and needed to get better. What was ridiculous all last year was your constant downplaying of his improvement and his contribution to the team in certain moments.... that continued into the offseason as you pounded the table with more ridiculous reasons as to why he wouldnt get better and be a good qb when everyone around here with a set of eyes could see it was coming. Now I’ll admit not quite to THIS level. But it was obvious to anyone that had a feel of how things were trending. also I love how, from what I’ve seen in the past, you portray yourself as fairly progressive and sorta “social justicey”.... until it’s anyone but a white individual being a bit racially slanted and then we should just ignore them because everyone has dumb views.... got ya. Noted. -

Their original point may have been valid. That explains very little about how they are still pushing the narrative that basically anyone hyping Allen is doing it for racial reasons. It’s absurd and it’s blatantly racist. Again, you’ll notice Foxworth conveniently left out the fact Desmond Howard voted for Allen in the Allen vs Jackson debate. That obviously wouldn’t help push is “Only white people think Allen is good” BS. He purposely split it down the white/black line to paint a false portrait. and you’re delusional if you think, in this day and age, 2 white men employed by ESPN would ever be allowed to step foot in front of a camera if they ever displayed such ridiculous racist views... and they rightly shouldn’t be allowed... what if Mike Greenberg went on somebodies podcast and said any of the many black athletes still taking up for your boy cam Newton are obviously only doing it because he’s black. Maannnn he’d be off that network with the quickness! AS HE SHOULD BE. There’s no room for garbage like Jones and Foxworth are spewing. Both are racist trash in my eyes. Just as much as my confederate flag flying POS Uncle Phil that I refuse to be on the same room with. One color of skin pushing racism is no less horrible than the other. People with public voices like Jones and Foxworth being able to speak like this is yet another small piece to this awful bigoted puzzle. but by all means you go ahead and justify it all you like. -

couple of things here. first on collinsworth.... is a qb passing for 20 tds and only 9 int with another 500 yds and 8td on the ground in 2019 not being "a real nfl qb"? geez. and the to the "tendencies". If by tendencies, he means kroft tripping over his own feet and untimely penalties while still racking up over 400 yds of offense.... then ya, there were tendencies i guess. -

The stat that’s being thrown around is “pressured” though. Not blitz’s. Which means it includes anytime Josh is getting somebody in his face even with just a four man front and everyone is covered that way. And Pittsburgh really hasn’t had to blitz much at alp with their front as talented as it is. When dupree was healthy they didn’t blitz a ton because you have him, watt, heyward and tuit all beating their guys a bunch. It’s one of the reasons why their d has been so good. We’ll see what they do without Dupree this week but still wouldn’t expect a ton of blitzes, while I’m still expecting to see plenty of pressure. 50 sec mark of this clip they reference Allen’s stats against pressure in general, not just the blitz. -

I bet the lazer to Davis on Monday was counted was “turnover worthy”. Which just makes me chuckle. I feel like there should be a grading curve on that stat that has to do with the fact only certain qb’s having the arm to get it done. -

I heard a stat today that has more to do with when he’s “pressured”. Not just blitzes. In those pressured situations his comp % is 12th amongst qb’s in that situation. Still not awful but I think that is reason for concern when it comes to Pittsburgh because I don’t think they technically “blitz” a lot. They’ve shown the ability to generate pressure with just their front. Heyward, tuit, and watt are all just awesome. Luckily for us dupree isn’t there anymore. It really was a terror for teams to deal with. -

Maybe on Allen. But apparently not on their blatant racist antics. I mean they’re both still employed by a huge network. Can you imagine if this was a podcast with 2 whites guys spewing similar racial non-sense? This sort of trash should be wrong no matter what the color. -

This is now the second time he’s said the only people hyping Allen are white and they are doing it for racial reasons. 2 months ago, after Allen won player of the FREAKIN month, he said white fans were hyping Allen because they wanted a different skin color at the top of the qb lists, as most good young qb’s are black. Also when Foxworth mentions how they were asked the question about Allen and Jackson the other day. He hints that it was racially motivated because 2 white guys picked Allen. he forgot to mention Desmond Howard picked Allen over Jackson as well.... but that wouldn’t fit the “only racists think Allen is good” narrative. These 2 are complete garbage in my eyes. Routinely pulling out the race card at the drop of a hat. Scumbags.... the both of them. .... as for their comments on Allen’s play? To listen to them you would think they were talking about a guy on his way out of the league and not Vegas’ 3rd best odds getter in the MVP race. -
I love the coverage. It means the team has been playing well consistently. One thing I will never understand is the “I like being under the radar” fans... that inherently means you havnt done enough to be ON the radar. Give me the hype and publicity, because for a small market team it means they’ve been performing at a high level for a solid duration in order to garner it.

The thing is.... he’s dead wrong. The Rams were 2-0 coming into that game and then won the next 2 after us. We are the only thing between them and an undefeated first 5 weeks..... what he’s saying makes no sense. None at all. -
“Chris Simms: Unbuttoned” a MUST watch IMO

It was a real good game by the d. The stats are skewed due to the prevent that went into play in the final minutes. I think that goes hand in hand when he says McDermott is a “code cracker” type of coach on defense. Week to week he has shown the ability to stifle what a team wants to do. It doesn’t always happen but he definitely has a knack
