i've said this before in another thread when somebody was claiming we "lost" the trade while they were just referencing jeffersons stats. Diggs brought a handful of extremely important things that arent on any stat sheet. Things that a rookie or even a year 2 guy isnt gonna bring. From what i've read he's a tireless worker. When your top 2 offensive players are there to outwork everyone, theres a trickle down effect.... i would guess the mindset that him and josh have brought rubs off on everyone. When the top guys set a standard everyone else feels that sense to duty. 4th and 3 and we gotta have it..... I may be taking diggs over ANYONE.

During his podcast back in early October Jones blatantly said any hype Allen was getting was from whites that didn’t like the fact that there was too much color at the top of the qb lists. Jones should be under as much fire as Foxworth and it shoulda happened weeks ago. Can you freaking imagine if last year in October, a white man on ESPN said the only reason Jackson was getting hype is because people of color just wanted a brother up there with Brady and Rodgers? there’s just no room for this trash. It CANNOT not be tolerated from any race, color, or sex.

Bomani had his pod yesterday basically saying Taylor got ran out of town because he was black. and Tried comparing Taylors play in year 6 or 7 to Allens play in year 2. Saying Allen was no better but got every excuse, while totally missing the mark on the fact that one was a vet that was in regression and the other was raw as hell and improving. he did, however, acknowledge that Allen is playing like a top ten qb this year.

Its the preferred fallback plan of anyone that hasnt just admitted they were wrong yet. Saying "Well he's gonna make a few boneheaded plays eventually" and using it as confirmation they were right is beyond dumb. Yes, he's gonna have a handful of WTF plays, but in between those he's gonna have a ton of "WOW" plays while winning game after game after game.... Then when the one boneheaded pick comes its gonna be "SEE THERE!!??? i told you so!!"... its so lazy.

I can agree with this. If either of them use their legs they are just taking advantage of their gifts. When Allen has had big games on the ground it’s because he must be bailing early or doing something else wrong.

you're not wrong... but i think it may have a bit to do with the style in which its done. The other 2 rarely take any substantial hits and arent loose with the football.... Josh's runs lately just have me yelling "cover the ball" and "GO DOWN". And this is coming from a guy(me) that thinks maybe we should let him use his legs a bit more. LOL.

Keyshawn is due up on NFL live tonight for the first time since his whole "the bills haven't beaten anyone" BS from last week. They were talking bills last night on the show and already hinted that they had something extra for him when he joins them tonight.

i disagree. at his worst 4? i love Allen but thats a bit homer-ish.... i think he's in the 4-7 range but i have no problems with somebody saying he's probably 7-8 and need to see more. I personally need to see some good playoff football before i can definitively say he's elite. And IMO thats completely fair. Seems pretty reasonable to me.

Jones spent a couple of minutes talking about how bad his pocket presence is. Thats absolutely insane. i've been blown away at how he evades pressure with small movements this year and manages a pocket. And blaming race on Taylor vs Allen is just a lazy take. Tyrod was a veteran in regression. There was nothing left there. Comparing a year 2 Allen to a year 6 or 7 taylor is stupid.... honestly the dude needs to take a hard look in the mirror when it comes to his race issues. Or, at the very least, only bring it up when it actually makes sense. We all know its still an issue. But claiming it around every corner just diminishes his message. Whats odd is after all of his Allen "hate" yesterday and through the season.... he admits he's been a top 10 qb this year and even as high as 7 or 8.... So im inclined to believe he quite literally only blasts him to get mentions and attention.

hmmm.... you'll have to excuse me if i get a bit irritated when a progressive network decides it ok to employ multiple individuals saying white Bills fans only like Allen because they're racist. Earlier in the year, just after Allen got named player of the month, he literally said the only reason Allen is getting hyped is because us white fans dont like the what "color" is making up the top of the qb lists nowadays...... HE EARNED PLAYER OF THE FRIGGIN MONTH. I'd rather not have to satisfy any itch. I'd rather the itch not be there at all. there's no room for that sort of trash.

I agree. They very well could lose any given week(its the NFL), but i highly doubt its from lack of prep and not taking a team seriously. It just feels like a team of cold blooded killers at this point.... I think it might be easy for players to buy into that when you see it in your top dog(Allen) week to week and play to play.

its funny because just today, as i was lurking over on that board, i was listening to nfl radio where solomon wilcotts talked about allen for 10 minutes and how he's elite now. and then listened to a podcast from "the athletic" about Allens ability when he leaves the structure of a designed play..... but ya... system qb

i agree with him but its not as if the stillers didnt get their breaks. knox gift wrapped a fumble and then 2 plays later poyer punches it out and they recover it. goes both ways IMO.

We’ve paid our dues. I don’t feel for any other fan base.... especially one that’s won 3 Super Bowls in the last 25 years Right. That’s what I said up stream. We see analysts on a weekly basis breaking down a handful of plays from Allen that only a handful of qb’s can pull off. Does the “system” include hitching the team to your back for the first half of the season as they struggled to run the ball and stop anyone on defense?

its pretty crazy. there are some STRONG feelings on him in there. some of them look like a toddler throwing a tantrum stomping, closing their eyes, and plugging there ears and just screaming at the notion that he is what we all KNOW he is, and they missed on the guy.

I get it. we can lose. but i'm not gonna pump up an awful offense because of one good game vs a below average D. With what our Defense has done against actual good offenses, i fully expect them to handle business this week.

the broncos went into that game ranked 32 in offensive DVOA. its a very bad offense.
