  1. Throwing 92-93 MPH fastball in highschool BEFORE his growth spurt..... GOOD GAWWWDD.
  2. Not sure where these numbers are coming from. Both my major sites have the bills at -1... still a large swing from -3 but not as big as the op is stating.
  3. His little shoulder dip/side step is next level this year.
  4. Right! Apparently having a top qb is only a huge factor for teams not named Buffalo.
  5. i was surprised by this breakdown. Simms is usually a big bills guy. From listening to these 2 today you could hardly guess theres another team other than San Fran playing in this game. Let alone one thats 8-3.
  6. Daniel Jones, Jeff driscal(one score game), Carson wentz, garret gilbert(need 4th quarter comeback), Burrow(rookie), Jake Lutton(rookie), Robert griffin/mcsorley.... those are the qb’s the Steelers have played in 7 of their 11 wins. They came into the week with statistically the weakest schedule in the NFL. Is it hard to see why somebody could be skeptical? With ANY OTHER schedule than the easiest in the league, that team wouldn’t be unbeaten. steelers are very good. But their record deceives
  7. Well he’s no jeff driscal or Garrett Gilbert! quite the gauntlet they been dealing with in Pitt!
  8. Ben came into this game like 26th in YPA and just accumulated 260 yds in 50+ attempts. color me unimpressed. Another team they barely beat that’s fielding a bunch of JAGs
  9. Why exactly are there so many in here all concerned they're gonna rush milano back? They just IR'd him and went 2-1. They're 8-3 and the d is coming off a good game with Klein. I'm fairly confident they know where they're doing with regards to letting him play or not. I doubt they feel much need to rush him back if he's not 100%
  10. Not to mention they just put the clamps on Keenan Allen in the slot and held him to 4 catches
  11. Well he fumbled 13 times last year and we only lost 4. Overall it looks like our ball carriers in general fumbled a total of 19 times last year and we only lost 6 total... from what i've looked up it looks like the average is usually 50/50. i guess maybe we're paying for a bit of good luck from last year.
  12. funny you mention this. i was just having a talk with a buddy in the gym about how all season i've been saying to myself "Mcdermott and Frazier will figure this out". In my head they were too good at what they do to not get it figured out. ......And we have more help on the way(Milano)!!!!!
  13. speaking of flukey.... Allen has fumbled 5 times this year and lost ALL FIVE. what are the chances there?... meanwhile Herbert fumbled twice just on sunday and got both back. I also remember a mahomes fumbled snap we didnt get and then a strip on Darnold we couldnt come up with. And we got our guy losing anything that seems to slip out of his grasp.... i'm just thinking out loud i guess. EDIT: i just went and looked. The bills have lost 8 of the 9 fumbles they've had. Thats really bad luck.
  14. well that would be 7 of our 11 games at this point where we've faced a team with a winning record up to this date. Thats gotta be tops in the league.
  15. From Matt Fairburns "10 final thoughts".... and milano comes back soon. so ya, i'm justifiably optimistic moving forward... but by all means. you do you, boo. 3. Buffalo’s defense has turned a corner. The Bills aren’t a perfect defensive team and are still susceptible to teams overpowering them with their running game. But the pass defense is back to playing the way it did in 2019 when the Bills had one of the league’s best defenses. In the first six games of the season, the Bills were fifth worst in the NFL, allowing a passer rating of 106.9 to opposing quarterbacks. They also allowed 12 passing touchdowns and had only two interceptions during that run. In the five games since then, the Bills are fourth best in the NFL, allowing a passer rating of 77.3. During that stretch, the Bills are also third in the league in both passing touchdowns against (4) and interceptions (6). While they had games against the Jets and Patriots in that five-game period, the Bills also had to face Russell Wilson, Kyler Murray and Herbert the last three weeks. If the Bills can continue to limit top-notch passing attacks, they have a chance to make some noise in the playoffs. 4. You want another stat that shows this defense is back to what it was in 2019? The Bills have 17 sacks when blitzing this season. That number is third in the NFL. A year ago, the Bills were third in the NFL with 22 sacks on blitzes. The Bills are also fourth in the NFL in ESPN’s “pass rush win rate.” Regardless of the metric you use, this defense is starting to get after opposing quarterbacks and that’s leading to better results.
  16. and thats with the 0-11 jets twice on the schedule. that severely skews the SOS.
  17. the defense has worked their way into the top 10 in sacks and to's and is now 18th in points against.... i can deal with the yards given up, as long as those 3 stats keep trending in the right direction.
  18. So i'm seeing this would be week 5 of Garoppolo's 4-6 week timetable.... I"m assuming theres been no news on this recently?
  19. apparently thats what some posters around here call "playing not to lose" .....
  20. Its been 46 games(including playoffs) since the Bills have scored a defensive td. I like to know where that streak holds up against the rest of the leagues. its a weirdly long drought.... Cant think of a better spot than in PRIMETIME. Break the streak boys!!!!!
  21. Amen. He’s top 3-5 in basically every major stat amongst safeties. True utility player. it’s too bad it’s the guys like Jamal adams getting all the hype because they blow up a teams rb or TE for a sack once a game. Does that guy even TRY to cover anymore?
  22. I thought it might be bills related so I was gonna guess the bills browns game that finished 8-6 in an absolute blizzard in Cleveland 07 maybe?
  23. Right. And the motor fumble came after the 2nd straight BIG run. And then an int obviously happens on a PASS. So where exactly does is the narrative coming from? It doesn’t make sense. I think it’s been an issue for our staff in the past. This week was not one of those times.
