The National Media, TV Personality Narrative
Stank_Nasty replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The clips you are seeing are literally the only 3 minutes they addressed the bills out of hour to 2 hour shows. First take on ESPN is a 2 hour show. That 3 minute clip people have seen with Smith and riddick praising the bills was literally all they touched on the team. There was about a 5-10 min segment on the niners ravens game coming up and they literally talked Cowboys the rest of the show. I just laughed it off. I honestly quit watching that show when it started getting racially and politically charged. No biggie.... but it’s still ridiculous to watch nearly 2 hours of coverage on a team that got killed by a young exciting up and coming team that you feel no need to speak on. -

I disagree with the tv aspect. I watched a bunch of stuff this morning and 3/4 of the shows were dominated by “cowboys loss” talk and the clips you are seeing come out online are the line 3 minutes they decided to finally admit the bills might be a solid team. I was actually laughing at one point at how lopsided the coverage and talk was towards cowboys on every single show I flipped to. Heck, even GMFB, a show notorious for bills love, finally admitted to and scolded themselves for dwelling on the losing team for way too much air time. -

This is why Josh Allen is a franchise QB

After the game Nate burleson commented on how he knows plenty of qb’s that wouldn’t have went for that ball or kept playing through the whistle like he did and he believes that’s why they’ll follow him -
I remember the comments. This was freaking perfect..... so perfect

Holy crap. That’s absurd

I’m loving every second of his implosion. Mainly because, living in Erie PA, I deal with that self righteous fan base. They act as though the franchise and they, as fans, are gracing the league with their presence. Anyways..... it’s so funny how quickly those fans got spoiled and forgot that fact their qb search before ben took nearly 30 years. As soon as they drafted Rudolph it was basically a forgone conclusion amongst them that they just drafted a star that slipped to the 3rd round and the transition would be seamless. I’m not even exaggerating. The dude was hyped to the max by their fans before he ever saw regular season action.... I think it may have been some sort of defense mechanism, as I don’t think they quite know how to process dealing with crap qb play or the thought that it may take YEARS to find another good qb.
-
It’s even more absurd only 6 got recovered by the defense.... am I reading that right?

in a separate article the bills are overrated because they barely beat the jets and bengals…. then in the underrated section sits the raiders that just got SLAMMED by the jets. and then the steelers that needed a timely turnover and a freak big play to beat the findley let bengals….. that dude is a grade A idiot.

that's too bad. was hoping we'd get to see our d feast on Rudolph. they both really aren't any good but hodges has a bit more big play ability.

Joshua Patrick Allen, aka Mr 3rd down
Stank_Nasty replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
same. i'm 34 so this is all new to me as an invested fan. My best buddy is a "stillers" fan and always chuckled at how excited I always got in previous years over a 3rd and long conversion. that whole fan base has been spoiled for 15 years now and I always told him to brace for when ben is gone because he'll be in the same boat...... he finally admitted this year how lucky he's had it after watching the garbage they've put on the field at qb this year. -

for me it was a 2 game stretch between a couple longer ones in the giants game and then, in person, real early in the home opener as he rolled to his right and delivered a laser down the sideline to convert a 3rd and 15 if I recall correctly.
