I feel dirty after that Browns loss
Stank_Nasty replied to Bakin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
2 out of 3 years is a lot less random and a bit more like a trend.... but whatever man. let me know when they count..... I guess all of this is pointless talk anyways until they actually show they have what it takes to finish this year out. -

Well I think we can both agree it’s not about this year. But a playoff berth is a good foundation to build on... that being said people saying the playoff appearances are fake, meaningless or a farce is literally dumb as hell... bottom line is the bills did what they needed to over 16 games in 17 and other teams didn’t. If they get in this year the same will be able to be said. There’s nothing fake about that. -

Right so IF they make the playoffs in 2 out of the last 3 years neither one counts and we aren’t much better off now with a young qb, young coach and 80 mil to spend, than we were for the last 20 years? That about sum it up? .... makes sense.... ???? -

I thought that’s what 2017 was. So now this one wouldnt count either?... if you could let me know when they actually count or matter that would be great. Thanks. -
Amazing how the National Press Ignores the Bills
Stank_Nasty replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is all a bit excessive. It’s seems like you have a bit of a personal issue with them here. They’ve been talking bills all offseason and especially this regular season. Brandt has been talking bills to the playoffs since before the season started. while they are a bit heavy on the pats circle jerk sessions, it’s easily the best morning sports show on TV, IMO. -
i'm not even saying this because i'm a fan of the team in this particular instance. I just honestly cant ever remember a team with a record like ours being just completely sluffed off like this. I mean even before last nights game, when the raiders were 4-4 the media had been stroking them for a month now. its really odd.... I think peoples minds are just so made up on the bills sucking year in and year out they cant even register the right thoughts or words to come out right if that's actually not the case anymore. if the bills make the playoffs for the 2nd time in 3 years they will no longer be the easy joke/low hanging fruit and I think the average fan and media presence is just so lazy that they hate the idea of having to find other crappy jokes to make up about other crappy teams.

well at least James Jones is consistent this season.... picks bills to get blown out by 21. While Deangelo Hall picks Mayfield to torch our pass D. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001074363/article/week-10-bold-predictions-richard-sherman-picks-russell-wilson-twice

is this for real? a team that gives up 25 a game and somebody is predicting a shutout? bills might very well get nipped this week. but a shutout? that's just ignorant.
-
makes sense to root for the raiders to be knocked down to 4-5, moving the chargers to 5-5..... but I really don't want the chargers feeling themselves. so that's a toughy.

Freakin gore.... I’m sure he may have felt some slight disappointment that this may have been a changing of the guard type of game and he still takes the time to make sure the youngster still gets a valuable meet with another legend. What a guy. What a teammate.

The cost of tickets in that stadium to watch a crap team is pretty unbelievable. I’d consider a protest as well....even nose bleeds in the endzones are $95. That’s nuts for how crappy they have been

recently i'm assuming? I thought I saw him last week vs NE? maybe i'm mistaken
-
how does the offense handle garrett and Vernon. how does the defense handle chubb…. I think these matchups will be big factors. …. I wont even pretend to know the answers to those questions.
-
IMO more specifically how our 19th ranked run d handles chubb.

The Extra Point - Week 9: Are the Bills 6-2 or 2-6?
Stank_Nasty replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Man.... this whole paragraph is IT right here! and the bolded. hell ya dude.... for some reason there are quite a few on this board that just cant enjoy the ride and the minute you start enjoying the season they categorize you as a "homer" or somebody thats ok with mediocrity and doesn't hope for more from the team in the future. its pathetic and sad. -

Man....that plane must have every skins fan that gonna be in attendance then, because I’ve seen a couple of their games while scrolling through the ticket and they can’t even get half their stadium full of their own fan base. -

Got it. Winning 10-11 games and heading into the offseason with 90mil and valuable playoff experience is no better than where we’ve been. ..... good talk. -

Stank_Nasty replied to Nextmanup's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The fact that they came in and immediately broke the drought of 17 years while clearing underachievers and cap space and are now set up for their 2nd playoff berth in 3 years and to win more games than they’ve won in the last 20 years with a core group of players they’ve drafted and recruited via free agency.... all while having 90 mil next year on top of that. The fact that needed explaining is sorta weird -

The score had nothing to do with it. It was great 40 degree morning down in Indy. Crisp sharp air walking up to the stadium.... you walk through the doors and it feels like a freaking shopping mall. The game hadn’t started yet and I wanted no part of being inside the dome. hell, my wife can’t stand the cold and she agreed she’d rather not ever attend another inside game. I’m not trying to reinforce anything with idle threats. I’m telling you straight up if it goes to a dome will not be spending the money I do now, to enjoy a football game out in the crips open air, for seats in a shopping mall a stadium in the middle. Im not saying that I’ll stop attending all together. And they probably don’t care about little ole me. But I’m also telling you it isn’t just me with these thoughts. I was actually excited to see what the dome life was all about. It sucked.... a lot -

The bills are no better than they’ve been over the last 10 years? Dude...... WOW. The bills have a better team than they’ve had in over a decade and they are set up better for the future than they’ve been since the 90’s you think the dude is right because he has the same screwed up views you do. -

I literally have no desire to be a in a dome to watch a live football game. I did it last year in Indy and it sucked. I’ll take this Sunday’s 40 degrees and very slight chance of showers any day of the week over that. How is it an opinion? It’s literally been a topic of discussion amongst my tailgating group and I havnt talked to a single person who has said they would be okay with a dome. I was speaking about my group directly. Nobody else. It’s not an opinion amongst that group and it’s the same statement amongst all of us... maybe we are the only 15-20 people that feel that way???? and as for myself? I go to 5 or 6 games a season and can 100% say that number would easily be cut in half if I was forced to sit inside. -

Dude. Why? Like what’s the point?... other than to look like a butthole? I can promise you, because we’ve all discussed it, my crew of 15-20 people will drastically reduce our attendance if the bills change to a dome. BARF. -

It should be mentioned he wasn’t even credited for a sack on his play vs Miami and when got to fitz before the hand off thats dumb. It should be 6 and he should be leading outright IMO -
What "type" of fan are you? Coming clean
Stank_Nasty replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Man you’ve really got it together. This guy right here knows what’s up. We should all aspire to this. I’ve decided my balls have grown to big to ever where any other mans name on my back and so to keep these huge grapefruits warm from the snow we just got last night, I’m taking all my jerseys to the fireplace and lighting them up. #imbetterthanallyousimplemindedpeasants
