  1. Good talk, man. Have fun at the game. Make it loud for me. I truly appreciate your commitment.
  2. its funny to me I keep hearing "if the bills win this game"... I heard the same thing last week. it was all empty. they came in and beat the breaks off the cowboys and it immediately was "whats wrong with the cowboys?". how exactly is it, that the only way we are noteworthy or "for real" is if we beat the best friggin team in the league?.... its like a totally different set of rules apply when grading the bills.
  3. They keep themselves impressively uninformed on the bills. like they go out of their way to make sure they learn nothing about them.... heck, I subscribe to the athletic, and in a podcast talking about afc playoff teams today DeAngelo Williams ripped Allen for not being able to quit giving the other team the football. the same josh allen that has only 8 int in 12 starts, has only 3 total turnovers in his last 8 games and averages less than 1 turnover a game on the season. 24 total td to 11 total turnovers and whats the former players takeaway? That dang josh allen is turnover machine...… impressively uninformed
  4. you could be right. the diehards are gonna support their team. i'll just have a hard time spending as much money on a experience i don't enjoy nearly as much. its probably trending in that direction though..... when I think of my favorite times at a stadium its not the mild weathered games I think back to. its the crisp, clean, sharp aired winter games with a bite in the air. like you said. different strokes, man.
  5. well I said in another post to you that I have. like walking into a shopping mall. I led with that. haha. it was in indy last year. it sucked. my wife absolutely hates the cold and she even said it sucked being in a dome for a game and she'd take a winter outdoor game anytime over it.
  6. I can only speak for myself here but I think because of the magnitude of this game I got a bit overemotional that there were still a bunch of tickets out there. i'd like to think that no matter what its gonna be a loud crowd come sunday. and I cant wrap my head around somebody not seeing the difference. just differing opinions. I'm sure they wont have problems getting it full, but what i'm telling you is I have a large group of fans I tailgate with that would be unhappy and probably wouldn't pay nearly as often for an experience they didn't like as much....but like I said earlier, you have to support your team so i'd still be trying to make it up there for a few.
  7. 110% I would have a hard time paying as much as it is for my wife and I to take a day for a football game when I absolutely cant stand the experience. walking into that dome was like walking into a shopping mall. I would guess for every person you find that wants a dome you'll find the same amount that don't. I know for a fact, because we've had these talks, that most of the group I regularly attend with would be very unhappy with an indoor stadium. I would still try to get there for some games because I want support my team at the stadium. but I cant say it'd be nearly as regular as its been over the last 15 years.
  8. i'm sorry you don't get it. the point is living closer would ensure its not a full day event for me therefore the kids wouldn't be such an issue. I don't have to attend ever single game to be surprised that the fanbase that's right there in the back yard isn't showing up. i'm sorry you cant see to understand that. its a really easy concept. I don't think that's hard to understand. the closer you are to the stadium the easier and more convenient it is to get to games... I've never discussed the booing. I don't get riled up by that. I don't do it but I don't care who does.... I just totally disagree with basically everything you say on here in general though.... like ever. so its whatever, man.
  9. this week its about perfect for a late season game. 45 and dry...… for now.
  10. the group of 15-20 that I go to most of my games(4-6 a year) with have discussed this quite a bit. its a pretty fair consensus that if the bills put in a dome they'd lose a decent amount of our attendance. if they did that AND made it more expensive then i'd have a hard time going to more than 1 or 2 a year.... maybe its just us? but I doubt that. my wife HATES the cold and she even admitted the dome experience down in indy last year SUCKED to watch a live game.
  11. I agree with this but i'll add that its absurd how open his targets are. not just on the broken plays either. roman is scheming guys comically open.... I think Jackson has thrown well. I also don't think the degree of difficulty on his throws has been very high. I guess the challenge is finding a way to limit those wide open players and sifting through all the deception they use to do it.
  12. Man, I have a hard time buying that.... just this year a bengals media member that had been at both seattle for their season opener when the bengals played them and then to buffalo for our home opener said the bills stadium was noticeably louder than seattles. so I'm having a very hard time figuring out how a game with mild weather between 2 teams jockeying for playoff seeding is having trouble filling the stadium. and throwing tickets at people for $40. @teef. I think your explanation of it "just being that time of year" has some merit.... its whats keeping me away from this HUGE matchup.
  13. Well this is just “judgy” ive been to a dome. Worst stadium experience I’ve ever had Hands down. Not even close. EDIT: that’s a lie. When I was a younger drunker individual there was a sleet riddled browns game at the Ralph and I went totally underprepared. That was the worst.... regardless, for me, one crap experience outside is worth all the good ones I’ve had in fall AND winter. If I wanna watch a game in a shopping mall I’ll just head to a local sports bar at the mall or stay in my living room. Won’t be paying much to head to a dome.... lucky for you. that gets rid of a certain type of person, eh?
  14. It’s a beautiful football day. I’m much closer than you being just south of Erie, Pa but can’t take the day to go up due to prior plans. blows my mind tickets are so low. It’s a huge game. Nose bleed endzone seats for the bills in PITT were going for nearly $100 back before they even went on their big run of wins and before the game got flexed.
  15. 44 and cloudy. Seems about like a perfect football day IMO. Unfortunately having very young kids nowadays and a 2 hour drive doesn’t let me get there as much as I used to. 5 to 6 homes games has now turned into 3, maybe 4, tops. For the people much closer it’s crazy to me that the team is 9-3, in a huge AFC matchup, with a rep for being a passionate fan base and there are that many seats available online right now.... $40??? Really????? It just blows my mind. hopefully the stadium is still rocking and and it’s hardly noticeable on Sunday.
  16. How in the world are there so many affordable seats for a game like this? I’m unable to make it but I paid more for seats to lessor games earlier in the year. sort of embarrassing. You can’t find a seat in Pittsburgh for less than like $90 and people are giving them away for as low as $38 in the Ralph this weekend.
  17. so was the pats game and we were competitive. "competitive", you words, not mine.... the bills should have walked off the field with the W that day. they are plenty real.
  18. In my experience steeler and pats are next level obnoxious and there isn’t many others even close.
  19. at least the 8 straight weeks of "must win" games have stopped ?
  20. This is what I did on my Jamaican resort for the season opener this year. Life saver.
  21. i'm not gonna pretend to know how to stop the ravens at this point. I think yesterday is about as good as somebody could play them and they still got to 20..... but aren't our athletic coverage LB's a positive matchup vs their te's?
  22. Hopefully right where he’s playing now. We all deserve a front row seat to his decline
  23. I remember in the offseason they asked that crew who had a better shot to make the playoffs this year, bills or jets. somebody picked the bills and he literally laughed right at them. dude is a complete tool
  24. Every time I tune into the ravens games my mind is blown by how wide open his targets are. His degree of difficulty on the majority of his throws hasn’t been nearly as high as Allen’s. These guys aren’t tuning in to these games to see it for themselves all year though. Shannon sharpe, a man with routinely awful takes on buffalo this year, straight up said this morning he‘s not getting up on any Sunday at 10Am on the west coast to watch a bills games.... which means he’s basically admitting he has no clue what he’s talking about when he just completely roasts them
  25. Dallas also came in with a top ten yardage and points allowed defense. it’s been 2 straight weeks we’ve faced top ten defenses and were able to toss it on cruise control by the 9 minute mark in the 4th quarter. If they had kept the pedal down in either game it woulda been 30+ in each... a switch has been flipped on this team, man. Exciting times.
