  1. Agreed. Although it could be interesting to visit unexplored parts of the ocean. Places nobody has ever been before. We literally have no idea what we’d encounter. Could be nothing, could change everything. Fox was interviewing a guy who’s been on one of these dives and he described the descent .. 3-4 hours of free fall through the dark, but you see the phosphorus light from the sea creatures all around you light up outside the window.. that visual does seem pretty wild.
  2. Im sorry, but I don’t view Diggs as the make or break for a Super Bowl run. If that’s the case, then Allen isn’t elite. We can’t trade him for nothing, but if somehow circumvented the cap nightmare of trading Diggs and got back someone like Sutton or Jeudy, plus picks, I’m still expecting this offense to be elite. ….I’m expecting that because Allen is elite, and there would be enough talent (provided the OL is better) to accomplish that.
  3. It would have to be someone sending back cheap players and picks. I don’t know enough about the cap to know if a team could do some kind of offset on a players contract so they eat most of it to send him to us in order to take back Diggs with us eating so much dead cap? Because that would have to be the deal … a WR1a/WR2 type WR who we don’t owe much of anything to this year and next, plus picks.
  4. Meh .. Diggs is elite, but if his contract wasn’t such a mess to trade, I’d be open to it. Allen is elite. If we did fix the OL, he should be able to elevate those around him. Allbright floated Sutton and a 2nd or 3rd. That’s a no for me.. in fact, I’m hanging up the phone and not even responding to that offer. However, Sutton, a 1st and another pick? Ok, I’m listening. Denver gets Diggs on a great contract for them. We eat cap and lose an elite WR, but load up for our next window, while still having enough talent to win this year. I just don’t see how we do anything with the way his contract is structured.
  5. His trade scenario for Denver is Sutton and a third. That would be absolutely insane. If we’re taking on an apocalyptic dead cap hit to trade one of the best WR’s in the NFL … telling me Denver is open to offering Sutton and a 3rd Round Pick is absurd.
  6. Oh, the potential for unimaginable terror is definitely the main driver in this discourse .. but I do believe those willing to take risks and explore deserve our respect. At the very least, I’m giving them mine.
  7. Neither. If forced to choose, probably space .. we know more about the physics and safety of leaving earth/re-entry than we do deep sea exploration. However, I have a tremendous amount of respect for those with the bravery and sense of wonder to go do those things. Society is better with those people as part of it.
  8. Would our staff have played McDuffie? My issue is more with their handling of Elam, than Elam himself. …and no, I don’t think McDuffie was “significantly” better. One got playing time and the other got spot duty .. in which he typically made plays. At a certain point, you have to let players learn on the fly and develop over the course of a season. KC was forced to do that with their draft picks.. and it worked out for them. We’re still playing this Mickey Mouse game with Elam, Benford and friggin Dane Jackson.
  9. “significantly better”… I think most people would say both were solid in their rookie years. The biggest difference is narrative. McDuffie got more of a leash and is entrenched in his starting spot. Elam, despite making plays in his time on the field, still hasn’t locked down a spot and always had a longer ways to go given his lack of experience playing zone.
  10. Maddow used the same defense - It’s a legal maneuver. It’s honestly tiring trying to discuss current events with mainstream propagandized folks, such as yourself…. You look down on everyone else as being sheep while moving in lockstep with the flock. You’d think taking L after L over now debunked propped up media stories, you’d have some sort of awakening, but apparently that’s not in the cards…
  11. Im not even an “eat the rich” type, but that crowd is 💯 showing their true colors today. Using dead migrants as cover to express not-so-subtle glee over the suffering and death of those they despise. It’s all so gross.
  12. Some people have a sense of adventure and, if they have the means, want to experience things. Our culture has made us so bitter and docile. Don’t worry .. you can go watch your footage of the titanic on YouTube.
  13. Legitimately the most terrifying thing I’ve ever heard in my life. I go into an existential crisis anytime I try to imagine what they’re going through. As someone above said … nightmare fuel. Listening to a Twitter space on this and it sounds like they have about 9 hours and 30 minutes left of air. …it would likely take about 8 hours to get it to the surface (allegedly) What if I told you that you can not be a ghoul and care about both…
  14. Cook, Harris and Murray is fine. It's better than whatever Mahomes has. The difference... Mahomes has had an elite OL. Allen, not even close. It's going to come down to the "Year 2" Kromer influence, new additions and the development of Spencer Brown.
  15. Of course players get worn down as the season goes on.. Last time I checked, Allen - without a torn UCL - put on the most impressive showing of a QB ever in the postseason. What exactly is your point here?
  16. Completely agree. Beane likely thought they were a Von Miller away, along with the excuse of losing Tre White that season, but in hindsight he should have known Frazier's defense is not going to work against Burrow/Mahomes. Texans WC second half collapse. The defense got carved up by Rivers the next year in the 4th Quarter, but Allen outdueled him. Then we got boat raced by KC in the AFCCG. Two strong postseason performances.. One in a winter hurricane against Lamar Jackson, and the other in 4 degrees against Mac Jones. Then 13 seconds happened. We know Frazier dominates limited QB's. His defense did it twice in weather games. In normal weather, against more talented QB's, his defense was a liability 4 times. Second half vs Deshaun Watson. 4th Quarter vs Phillip Rivers. Mahomes twice. In retrospect, that was enough sample size to see that Frazier is not the guy when it comes to the postseason. I'm not sure it would've been much different, given the injuries we sustained last year, but between the struggle session against Skylar Thompson, followed by Burrow toying with us, Frazier was here one year too long. As you said, there was enough data for 13 seconds to be the breaking point.
  17. Trash. No idea what this station's obsession with Baltimore is every year. I think Miami and Buffalo have pretty equal rosters, so unless you're telling me that Tua is better than Allen, I'm not playing this game. KC and CIN, I'm fine with. This is the most talented team we've ever had, despite what the narrative based off last year's finish is... but I need to see what this team looks like before I trust them to be able to go toe to toe with those two when it matters.
  18. He’s so obviously the best choice, yet it’s like talking to a wall with Trump supporters. If he can get the nomination, at least he’ll be able to win over MAGA by being the guy that will pardon Trump from the politically motivated prosecution of his idiotic document handling.
  19. I'd be interested to see what the Bills are willing to pay Gabe Davis... Let's say Buffalo is willing to do 4 years at $$$ per AAV.... Would y'all be willing to offer that to D-Hop at say 3 yrs at the same AAV, then trade Gabe or let him walk after the season? If that money is already allocated, and the difference is simply accelerating the money due one year and taking a risk on a proven older player vs a somewhat unproven younger player.. I think I'd pull the trigger on D-Hop. If that isn't enough money for D-Hop, I'd then turn to Gabe and see if that works to lock him down before the season. I do agree with those who think Gabe is either locked up before the season or he is on a different team in '24. He either doesn't step up, again, then I think we'll decide to take a WR early. If he does step up, like Tremaine, we won't be able to afford him.
  20. Agreed about the depth against a team also starting a makeshift OL.
  21. I think last years defense could've been elite if Von and Hyde stayed healthy. Ultimately they didn't, and Tre never regained his prior self ability at any point in the season. Add in other serious injuries leading into the Bengals beatdown to end the season (Jones, Poyer, Phillips etc.,) and this defense was a shell of itself by the time we played Cinci. I do think Frazier was a liability in the postseason, so perhaps not a ton would've changed, but I have to think this defense performs better with a healthy Von, Hyde and Jones. Bengals only really had one injury against us on defense... their CB1. We were down EDGE, DT & S, along with two guys in Phillips and Poyer who had no business being on the field.
  22. The leaders of our military are a joke.
