The Dodgers cave to anti Catholic LGBT group
SCBills replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Also.. this is the Dodgers. Their fanbase is heavy Latino. Not exactly the online crowd, so they won’t hear a ton of pushback from them on social media, however.. How exactly do they think their heavy Catholic fanbase will react to drag nuns that simulate sex acts with crosses and a twerking Jesus? -
The Dodgers cave to anti Catholic LGBT group
SCBills replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The LGBTQ movement is now the most oppressive religion in this country. By that, I don’t mean normal gay, bi, lesbian folks who want nothing to do with all this. Im specifically talking about the activist class of the movement. The high priests demand compliance and wield control of every major sphere of influence. -
Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?
SCBills replied to NeverOutNick's topic in The Stadium Wall
The thing is... nobody who he'd want to go to has money. It's not like we're poor and everyone else (Chiefs, Jets, Ravens etc.,) have all this cap. He's clearly on the outs - Yet everywhere he wants to go is cap strapped... Something's gotta give. -
NAACP issues a travel warning for black people going to Florida and now Roy Cooper issues a state of emergency over the Republican Legislature overriding him on school choice… Dems acting panicked af right now.

DeSantis For President in 2024?
SCBills replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
WaPo now accusing Georgia of this. Please NAACP, issue a travel ban for Georgia of all places…. Show us just how ridiculous you are. They won’t though, because this is obviously in conjunction with the Democrat establishment against DeSantis. Also shows how little sway they have anymore. Most apolitical black folks are literally laughing at this. Stephen A Smith on ESPN absolutely giddy that he gets to go to South Beach to cover the Finals. Nobody cares, everyone knows it’s nonsense. -
Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?
SCBills replied to NeverOutNick's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's quite obvious that Hopkins is not finishing the season with Arizona. Only question in my mind is does he begin the season with them? I'm sure the Chiefs are in on all this too, but I don't think it's crazy to say that Hopkins seems to have an affinity for Allen/Buffalo if given a choice. -
I don't think Taiwan Jones is really even in the equation at this point. Personally, I like the idea of keeping 4 RB's in Cook, Harris, Murray and Hines. Still not sure what the role is for Hines, but I don't see us cutting him, so he stays our KR/PR/Gadget guy. Cook/Harris as the 1-2 punch and then give those Allen short yardage run to Latavius Murray.

Only reason I didn't go 100% lock for Sherfield is because he's on a one year deal. Shorter is on a rookie deal and they signed Shavers to a 3 year UDFA deal. If for some reason, Sherfield underwhelmed and both Shorter and Shavers impressed, I could see a small 10% chance Sherfield is a surprise cut.. but agree, I think he's pretty close to a lock.
-
Agree on the guys to watch, but not sure I see a WR getting poached.. Maybe Shavers for his ST's ability? I can't see us keeping 7, and I think 4 are locks: Diggs-Davis-Shakir-Harty. With Sherfield at about 90% and Shorter at 80% making the 53.

Kaiir Elam - Breakout Player of 2023
SCBills replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
He’s probably one of the more physically gifted secondary players we’ve had in a long time. Has already shown he can make big plays.. just need the consistency and for him to get more comfortable in zone. Another thing I love about him is that he is literally in every single group outing picture with other guys on the team. I’m pretty sure he’s incapable of saying no to a group outing. -
It is 100% different than bullying used to be. People can’t escape cyber bullying. Imagine a kid being bullied in school. He/She at least gets a reprieve when they go home. Now they go home and see social media discourse & Tik Tok’s making fun of them from classmates.

Bills Mafia obviously has quite a few notable figures on social media. You just never know what someone is going through.. Incredibly sad.

Why do the gays love the dems so much ?
SCBills replied to Teddy KGB's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
LGB’s desperately need to drop the T’s. You have some groups trying to, but the trans movement is setting back the movement decades. LGBTQ acceptance dropped for the first in years last year. That’s not because America decided to go backwards in their view on lesbian, gay and bisexual rights. -
I honestly don’t believe anything our media says about this war. Especially when we have Jennifer “pro-war” Rubin framing this article is such ridiculously obvious fashion. It’s the one thing both media sides are in complete agreement upon, and they’ve been wrong so, so much. All Russian reporting is basically banned, and all they keep doing is parroting “we’re winning” propaganda from Ukraine. Wagner is in retreat from Bakhmut!! (1 day later). Bakhmut has fallen. Ok…

So now you see how easily the public can be manipulated by the media! Welcome to the club. That said … everything is getting more expensive. That’s not make believe. And people do feel that. That is why inflation is such a political killer … it’s one of the few things the voting public feels every. single. day.

Fwiw… Republicans should underestimate Biden at their own peril. Not because of him, but because the Democrats have run laps around Republicans in terms of getting the vote out in this post-covid era of mass scale mail-in/early voting. Unless R’s figure that out … good luck. Fetterman had the election won like 2 weeks before Election Day, just nobody realized it. That being said, Americans view on the economy is based on feeling.. and they feel the economy is in bad shape. They see every becoming more expensive and it never stops lately. No amount of real, or propagandized, information will change that .. and likely only serves to make the administration seem out of touch.

His buying of Twitter is insanely consequential. People will think you’re being hyperbolic here, but he single-handedly changed the course of social media discourse when he took over the platform. Not just because he bought the platform, but because he opened so many eyes since then of the bias we had prior, along with the rise of citizen/independent journalism that Twitter is helping to facilitate. Podcast platforms unlocked the gate, Elon buying Twitter busted them open.
