  1. I'm torn on this. Locking down Gabe "if" he makes the jump to high level WR2, would give us a fantastic Offensive core at the skill positions of Diggs, Davis, Knox, Kincaid and Cook locked down for multiple years together. That said.. It's probably easier to find an early impact WR2 in the draft than it is DL.. and after this year we only have 4 guys under contract in Von, Rousseau, Oliver and Basham - which could very well only be 3 before the season starts if Basham gets traded/cut.
  2. Is there a number you'd be willing to go to for him? Or just a no in general? I think I would be good with anything under or around 3yrs/40M. I have to think he wants more than that though.
  3. Sure.. Those with money and security can vote for whatever they want, knowing it will never affect them .. until it does. Until their connections don’t get their white kid into a school anymore, or they don’t get made partner because of a diversity promotion, or soft on crime policies make their way to the suburbs. The vast majority of people voting are somewhat (or very) dependent upon the government. That goes for whites, blacks, hispanic etc.. Thats common knowledge, despite your feeling the need to only highlight unskilled/uneducated white men. Left leaning cities are propped up by politicians providing crumbs to those dependent upon the government. Those, typically, aren’t white male voters. Those typically aren’t Republican leaders. Your example applies to all .. and is the basis of exploitation politics .. otherwise known as American democracy.
  4. @BillStime anytime a Democrat view is discussed.
  5. I explicitly criticized Republicans in my post, so I’m not sure why you feel I’m unwilling to do that. Fact remains, Democrats have moved from being the party of blue collar workers, to the party of women and minorities… which is what it is… if one wants to support a party that caters to mainly those people, go ahead.. but as a white man - you’re voting against your own interests, and furthermore, supporting people on the fringes of the party who vehemently dislike you based on skin color and sex. It’s the same reason black women rarely vote Republican.. why would they? The Republican platform doesn’t speak to them, and furthermore doesn’t really even attempt to. Sorry if this bothers you, but it’s just facts … facts backed up by voting realities. White men majority vote Republican. Black women majority vote Democrat. White single women majority vote Democrat. Inroads for each party can be made amongst married white women, black men and latinos, but this is where we’re at… and it’s clearly by design.
  6. Top 3 OL and Kelce. Mahomes is elite, of course, but that’s the reason why. Let’s not act like they haven’t invested at WR though.. We have Diggs and day 3 picks. They have a recent RD1 and two RD2 picks at the position.
  7. Yes, because they’ve invested in their OL and have a recent RD1, RD2 and RD2 WR all on rookie contracts.
  8. It’s to the point where I’m sad for any white boy being raised by a liberal white woman. They're essentially being raised to hate themselves and to vote against their own interests. I get why black people, en masse, don’t support Republicans when R’s have racist outliers in their ranks and rarely attempt to speak to their community. White men should feel the same about Democrats, who are openly hostile to them and their future.
  9. Love Diggs, and this isn't even a knock on him.. it's just an admission of how dominant and unique Travis Kelce has been. I'd take him over any WR in the league. Jefferson, Adams, Hill, Diggs etc., doesn't matter.. Give me the unicorn Tight End. He is the most dangerous receiving weapon in the entire NFL and allows your offense to do so much around him.
  10. Chiefs current roster: Paid big money for LT, as they have been doing. Paid big money for an IOL, as they have been doing. Drafted Creed Humphrey high. Traded for a recent RD1 WR. Drafted WR's in RD2 in consecutive years. Are paying 10M per year for a WR2/3. As discussed quite a bit here, some of it is just the fact that they hit on Trey Smith & Creed Humphrey while we're waiting on Spencer Brown, but they've absolutely went more in on giving Mahomes what he needs than we have for Allen. I don't really see how that can even be debated up until this year.
  11. People fall for the Mahomes-hype narrative driven by the media. And don't get me wrong, he's worthy of hype.. but you can ball out as an elite QB when you have one of the top offensive minds in the league orchestrating an offense led by a Top 3 OL, Top 3 receiving option in Kelce and a bunch of WR2/3 types. Mahomes has never been without elite weapons OR an elite OL. Hill/Kelce etc.. and then they traded Hill and invested heavy in OL. The one year their OL let them down, they went all in to fix it. Contrast that with Allen behind a bottom 5 OL, one elite WR, a good TE and not much else last season with Gabe hobbled and everyone else being complete JAG's. Now, I'll say, this year gives me hope. There was real investment on the OL (not as much as we'd all like, but there's potential), the addition of a true weapon in Kincaid and the addition of Sherfield who provides functional WR3 ability/durability. Harty is a flashier/higher-ceiling Jamison Crowder... let's see if it works.
  12. So... Seems like Spencer Brown is quietly having a good camp. If he makes the jump to just an average RT, the prospects for this OL drastically change.
  13. Agreed.. and I have close family that point to current events and believe we are in the end times. I always kind of brushed it off, because it seems like everyone has always thought that when interpreting Revelation. However, I see stories like this … and think back just a decade and how the interpretations of the mark of the beast would seem so hard to imagine to people discussing this, but now … it’s literally here. We have the technology to be imprinted upon us, that we would have to pledge allegiance to in order to buy and sell. We’re literally watching it in this video. Combine that with pushes towards blind government obedience, cashless society and tech advances…. This makes me open my ears a bit more to those who do believe we are in end times.
  14. Hard to keep more than 6 WR’s when we have to roster a LB that can’t play LB and a slot corner that can’t play slot corner.
  15. I'm torn on Boogie, simply because the only DL we have under contract for next year are Von, Rousseau and Oliver. That, and the camp reports that Boogie has been playing at both DE and DT. I also think Shaq and Ray could be put on the Practice Squad, unless Ray has a tremendous preseason and forces our hand. Von-Rousseau-Floyd-AJE-Boogie Oliver-Jones-Ford-Phillips-Settle PS: Ankou-Lawson-Ray Trade candidates: Boogie and Settle. If one is moved, then bump up Lawson or Ray. Surprise cut: Damar Hamlin. Hyde, Poyer and Rapp are locks, and it sounds like Cam Lewis may be as well. Are we keeping 5 safeties?
  16. Bills: Diggs Davis (RD4) Shakir (RD5) Harty (mid level FA) Sherfield (low level FA) Shorter (RD6) There’s potential there, but it’s also relatively low investment compared to a lot of our peers top WR’s KC-RD1 (via trade), RD2, RD2. CIN-RD1, RD2, RD2 MIA-RD1, WR1 (via trade) NYJ-RD1 BAL-RD1, RD1, high level FA LAC-RD1, RD1, Aging WR1 JAX-High Level FA, WR1 (via trade) Bills WR room may end up being towards the top of the league when all is said and done, despite the investment/lack thereof, as Allen is elite and they may have drafted incredibly well on Day 3, along with hitting on some under the radar FA’s. That said, it doesn’t really stack up in terms of capital spent to many of our peer teams outside of the Jets.
  17. I enjoy leftists projecting their miserable lives on everyone else, as if no one was ever happy.
  18. Serious question… What would happen if someone with a gun started shooting these people as they stomp on an unconscious person? Because if a DA brings a case against said person, and it goes to trial, trust that I’m just passing time until I can say “not guilty” if I’m on the jury.
  19. Um, I do? Id rather have a guy who can manage this team to a W over someone like the Patriots if Allen needs to miss a game. If we’re being real, Allen probably should’ve missed games last year.. he’s just a freak.
  20. Everything I’ve heard about Elam has been trending up, so I’m not too worried about this.
  21. I like Jordan Phillips as a guy that we can slow play on PUP and bring him back 100% healthy. He could be a really nice rotational piece rushing the passer from the interior. Shaq, I’m not sold he makes the 53 if Von is ready to go. I think Floyd, Rousseau and AJE are locks and if Von is active, that’s 4, with Boogie being a guy that has another cheap contract year on the books after this year .. if he’s at all serviceable I wonder if that comes into play.
  22. Was it the same practice where Lamar threw his helmet and punted the ball after they couldn’t even run a play due to free rushers? Because I saw that update yesterday about a recent Ravens practice.
  23. With how aggressive this defense is in every report from practice, how on earth did McDermott keep his sanity with these Frazier-led defenses? I guess the regular season results were enough to keep his true nature at bay.. but I think I’d lose my mind if I was a HC and my DC was out here running bend-don’t break defense all day.
