  1. Jalen Hurts lol MVP stuff right there
  2. Well, you should … because we kind of need a team like Arizona to hold on against Pittsburgh and could really use the Rams to not lose to the Flacco-led Browns. We don’t control our own destiny mathematically right now.
  3. Colts are officially a problem. They’re not good. Could lose any/all of their remaining games, but they are 7-5 and just keep winning… no good teams on their stretch schedule, just a lot of meh.
  4. Slightly up with Houston over Denver, plus Houston losing their best offensive weapon. 3 games TBD - in progress.
  5. Jets can’t go back to Wilson, right? Im not sure why you wouldn’t put him back out there. See if he shows anything in his 3rd chance at redemption. At least he’s shown ability to play well against KC, BUF, PHI etc … these other QBs are journeymen and somehow worse.
  6. Go Rams also
  7. Eh.. we’ll see what they look like if Tank is out a while, but they might end up being a team we should root to concede a spot to, given they play CLE & IND. DEN losing likely helps is way more than the other way around.
  8. Bills will decide whether they’re worthy or not soon enough. Offense has been elite under Brady. Using a Week 1 result to justify anything is ridiculous.. clown behavior.
  9. Id argue that they went with the worst answer of all available options. 1) the precedent it sets for how teams handle injuries 2) the precedent it sets for what a season means 3) eye test is subjective and FSU’s offense struggled without Travis, but are we apparently ignoring Bama almost losing to Auburn a week ago? 4) UGA is clearly a Top 4 team, yet is .. in the committees eyes .. behind FSU without their QB? 5) They justify Liberty over SMU as G5 rep, when SMU is better now, because Liberty “kept winning” It all came down to money and ESPN making sure the SEC was represented. You can’t tell me that didn’t factor in. It did .. and today was an absolute travesty for the sport. The backlash is entirely warranted.
  10. What we’re their ratings for the playoff game last time they made it and nobody wanted them there? Doesnt seem like their fanbase size translates to ratings like the Cowboys do.
  11. I doubt we’re overtaking the Dolphins. We probably have to win out and then hope the Fins lose 3 in a row to finish the season. Plausible when you see who they play, but that’s a lot we need to go our way. In terms of making the playoffs .. these teams were chasing are bad. Texans might be decent but they just lost their best WR. Broncos are ok. Colts, Steelers, Browns are bad. As someone said above, drought era Bills… defense can keep them in but eventually it all comes crashing down.
  12. Can they beat a contender first or nah?
  13. The Jordan Travis tweet. “I wish my leg broke earlier so y’all could see this team is so much more than the QB…” **** this committee. I hope they have to answer for it … and judging by the INTENSE backlash from AD’s, Chancellors and Politicians, they’re going to have to.
  14. I also love the “Committee took the 4 best teams” Ha! No, they absolutely did not. UGA is a Top 4 team and everybody knows they are. So they made a mockery of the sport this year and didn’t even do what they say they were tasked to do in order to justify what they did to FSU.
  15. FSU could beat Michigan with their backup QB who isn’t a true freshman starting his first game in the ACC Championship Game. SEC did nothing out of conference. ACC was 6-4 against them. SEC’s best win was Kentucky 38 over Louisville 35. FSU held them to 6 points. I have no idea what to make of UW because they play out West and I rarely watch them. Texas is dependent on which version of their QB shows up. BAMA and UGA are better than FSU now, but they were never going to take both, also we’re never going to take none.
  16. Nobody cares. You think Verse and Coleman etc are going to play? Maybe, maybe not .. players on both sides won’t care if it’s not CFP.
  17. They picked the best 4 teams, but also basically said that this year, the games didn’t matter. Just a subjective decision based on the whims of a bunch of people in a room. Watching the FSU reaction made me want to punt this chair of the CFP Committee into the sun as he rambles on in this interview.
  18. Tell us again who the threat to democracy is?
  19. Lots of people seem encouraged when looking at our odds at 4-1, but we’ll have to see how this week goes before I start buying into that. To date, we haven’t been getting much help, even though we’re chasing teams with bad QB, rookie QB, no QB…
  20. Can’t be that bleak if the NYT has us at 99% in if we win out. I’ll agree though, we need a team like the Rams tomorrow to actually step up and not lay down against the now Flacco-led Browns.
  21. We “want” an upgrade, maybe. Im sorry … top 5 OL doesn’t equate to need, especially when we “need” a WR2 and potentially a C, depending on what we do with Morse/Bates. Nevermind the fact we may have to fill holes on defense with rookies. If an elite RT drops due to everyone going QB and WR before us, then I’m not opposed … I’m never opposed to OL. But it seems now, more than ever, drafting Tackles early is quite the roll of the dice.
  22. I genuinely do not understand this. We have a Top 5 OL this year and Spencer Brown is an average to above average RT game to game … and still has upside to grow into.
  23. Autry keeping Copeland in the game for 5-6 minutes is the difference in this game. Now they’re melting down after UVA got some breathing room and has ratcheted up the defense. Not the greatest coaching start for him in these high pressure games where his rotations are sus and the team falls apart. Still a half to go, but this has been really poor from the team and Red.
  24. Nevermind that Dan Orlovsky, as a white guy, has to deal with subtle racism from these dudes about Josh Allen. He’ll never call it out, except maybe when he leaves ESPN, but he knows it’s there. Mina Kimes gonna be the last one standing over there in terms of having anything intelligent/unbiased to say.
  25. Has one of the few good people left at ESPN finally had enough?… Removed the network from his bio and tweeted this..
