Gabe Davis- Do you want him back and for how much $
SCBills replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'd give him Harty's money next year, but he'll likely get paid more than that elsewhere, and honestly he'd probably feel like it's a slap in the face. We'll see how the rest of the season plays out, but it truly seems like Allen doesn't trust him at this point. I'm to the point where I'd almost rather see what Harty can do out there with his speed, even if a bit diminished from injuries over the years. We need somebody out there to stress the defense and open things up for Diggs.. and Davis doesn't seem to be doing that at the moment. Take the money you had in mind for Gabe before the season started and give some of it to Epenesa. Then double dip on WR's early in the draft. -
It’s Dallas week and the Division is on the line!

The Dallas guy who came on Sal's podcast talked about how they like to move Parsons inside and isolate him on an interior player as well. Mentioned we might see him lined up over McGovern (Sal mentioned Torrence). We can chip him with Knox or Kincaid when he's matched up on Brown, but we're going to need the RB's to pass pro a lot better than they did against KC when we see him lined up inside. Just looked at the weather and it shows light rain, mid-upper 40's for the entire game. We just saw Josh Allen go nuclear against Philly in that weather, on the road. -

This excuse needs to be thrown in the trash at this point. Honestly, yes, we've had some big injuries.. -Cleveland lost their QB, their elite RB and just lost two important Defensive players this past week. -Baltimore lost Mark Andrews for the year. -Los Angeles Chargers lost Herbert for the year and had guys in and out of the lineup all year. -Pittsburgh lost their QB. -Houston lost their best WR. -New York Jets lost Aaron Rodgers 4 plays into the season. -Miami has guys in and out of the lineup every week right now and just lost their best Offensive Lineman for the year. Rasul Douglas has essentially been a 1 for 1 replacing Tre. That leaves a downgrade from Daquan Jones to Linval Joseph. But Joseph is a solid player .. he's not a bum. And the big missing piece being Milano, where we clearly downgrade with Dodson, rookie Williams etc.. but most teams have a big injury like this. It is what it is. Figure it out.- 553 replies

Araiza, accuser agree to dismiss civil lawsuits against each other

What a weird thing to say… -
Hyde - Retires Poyer - 50/50 Hamlin - stays Lewis - stays Johnson - stays Neal - gone Douglas - stays Benford - stays Elam - stays Jackson - 50/50 Tre - 50/50 w pay cut “restructure” I could see them drafting a Safety on Day 2, another on Day 3 and keeping Poyer for one more year. CB, a Day 3 guy if both Tre/Dane are gone, but I’m fine with Douglas, Benford & Elam. Offense looks set except for WR2, and the Defense is set at LB, but I’d rather use resources on the DL than secondary if we have to choose where to invest $$ and/or premium draft assets. Very comfortable with McDermott’s ability to coach up Day 3 guys in the secondary in our scheme.

Based on the pass blocking from our RB’s in the second half, and Murray spazzing on an elite JA play, I’m ready to see what Fournette can give us over Latavius or Johnson. -
So are we just done expecting Von Miller to do anything?
SCBills replied to dayman's topic in The Stadium Wall
I do not understand why anyone would choose this game, of all the games he’s played this year, to convey this message. He actually affected Mahomes late in the 4th a few times. Looked like he finally started figuring some things out. -
All of this.. Diggs looks like he had Knox pre-injury hands transplanted and Davis has had some special ability to constantly read routes the opposite way that Allen does. These three need to get in a room and mind meld this week.

If you're Miami, after seeing last night without Williams & Hill for a good portion of the game against a mediocre Defense.. Do you play Hill or rest him? One of the trickier rest/play decisions I can think of.. They clearly aren't winning anything in the playoffs if he doesn't heal up and has a day where he has to miss large swaths of the game like last night. They're also dangerously close to melting down, again, once the weather turns if they risk sitting him against a Jets team that played some inspired football behind Wilson last week, followed by the toughest schedule in football.. by far, to close out their last three.

I keep thinking back to how slimy and disgusting that lawyer was when all this was going on. What an absolute joke. -

He's been lights out at home. They run an offense where he hits the back foot and the ball is out. They have a good OL, but it's next to impossible to pressure a guy getting the ball out that fast & decisive. Interested to see how we defend them. -

Chiefs have a top notch secondary, with a corner like Snead that they can plaster on Diggs. They have a good pass rush, centered around Chris Jones and they have fast/twitchy linebackers that they used to spy Allen. Dallas has a similar DL, but I don't know enough about them to determine whether they have linebackers that can stop Allen from running and/or a secondary that can cover like the Chiefs can. -

Lots of Dolphins chatter on X that he's done for the season. -

If the Jets from Sunday show up against Miami … and Miami limps into that match-up … the Jets are winning that game. -

These matchups tonight looked absolutely terrible. Ended up being an absolutely incredible night of football. -

They put time back on for us and then took 10 seconds off. Let Miami snap on the whistle, which basically worked out the same .. no clue why they did them two separate ways. Both worked out the same though. -

Dolphins better hope Tyreek Hill is done getting pretend hurt every game, because if he ever stops being a drama queen and gets banged up for real … they’re losing to the Jets and will get rocked by Dallas, Baltimore and Buffalo. -

What did we do to the Titans special teams for them to hate us so much? Last week Colts, this week Dolphins… -
Low key think AJE getting hurt and forcing Von into action for extended snaps may have been what he needed to turn the corner. (Plus the brace coming off). But the extended time to get into a rhythm and find yourself isn’t nothing. I don’t expect pre-ACL Von until next year, but if we can get late game Von from last night - moving forward, that’s going to be huge .. especially with Epenesa looking doubtful for Dallas.
-
RD1 has to be an outside WR.. Regardless of what they do with Davis. We need the ability to move Diggs into the slot more as he gets older.
-
Eh.. between the drops, lack of production and constantly pulling himself out of the game, I’m starting to wonder what his deal is. Hopefully he makes me look dumb and balls out next week.
