Why is this a story? Edmunds left because he found someone willing to pay him more. Hopkins has a thread longer than a country mile. All NFL players want to make more money. If they can find a team that will pay them more…good for them. If not, you play for less money. That last sentence more or less applies to EVERY player regardless of position.

Frank…your bias showing…just a tad. If you think Trump’s grand plan was to have a guy dressed like a bison lead the charge to “subvert the Constitution”, you may need to re-examine the entire narrative. I’ve never condoned J6 but the post event political opportunism is just over the top.

You forgot this one: Was the organic violence perpetrated by someone claiming to be upset about something that happened months ago, far from your location, in no way associated with you personally, and that didn’t directly impact them?

My wife is a public school educator. I’m not anti-school. But if a rural school is losing students because they’ve gone off the rails in what they’re teaching, then the market should force them to course correct (pardon the pun). And eventually, if the school is no longer viable, then the school will close and parents have to make other accommodations.

Once again….They get paid EXACT MINIMUM the industry has determined they need to be in order to fill the available positions. Just like every other job, ever.

Hopefully somebody remembered to remove all the rubber mats from the facility. Success is in the details!

I’m not sure if funding is the same in all States but here in California the public schools get money based on Average Daily Attendance…or in other words per kid. So if the kid leaves the money goes with them. The public school district is no more damaged by a kid going to charter school than they are if that same kid moves to Arizona. Or, if they just suffer from declining enrollment (as many are) from demographic shifts.

As with all things, this is not complicated. What is something worth? Answer: What someone else is willing to pay for it. We seem to have a real problem with that in society. It’s time for a mandatory class.

I obviously agree. I regularly read and engage on here but am always left wondering what the heck these people really want or whether they even know any more. Trump didn’t care about ANY of the issues that keep them up at night. His big agenda items were lowering our taxes, ending our involvement in foreign wars, securing our borders, and bringing back middle class manufacturing jobs. It was only AFTER he was elected that he realized just how many powerful forces were aligned to purposely stop every single one of those agenda goals.
