  1. I have no idea why the loan has to be ‘forgiven’ at all. If you’re a teacher, and your union is in there fighting for all sorts of benefits, why not fight for the District to pay off your loan? I’m guessing it’d be a great recruitment tool, even for young professionals who hadn’t considered going into teaching in the first place.
  2. Frank, while appreciate the humor, please don’t attempt to sweep this under the rug. Somebody at the Secret Service needs to be fired here.
  3. What I find interesting is that the two biggest eligible categories as described in the Tweet are public servants and people with disabilities. The former seems well intentioned. Although the biggest number of recipients would have to be teachers whose salaries are of course paid by the State not federal government so it would seem that’s where the forgiveness should come from.
  4. While it isn’t technically illegal to yell fire in an auditorium you can and should be indicted for inciting a riot….which appears to be the obvious case against Mr Epps. Of course if you incite a riot that Nancy and her pals were dying to take political advantage of, then all bets are off.
  5. That’s correct. Conservatives are and were NOT supportive of breaching the Capitol Building. No idea where you got the idea that they were.
  6. You have got to be kidding me! The guy is on video/audio tape! Get your head out of your partisan arse. Regardless of whether he’s a Trump supporter or an asset, he should have the book thrown at him for yelling ‘fire’ in a crowded auditorium. Why is this complicated? He has no case here whatsoever.
  7. Just don’t tell them what to do. 😉
  8. Hawk, Covid was a definite defining line for many people. It didn’t bring out the best in everyone. Which is to expected when we’re all being told we’re going to die. Some people chose to go about their lives. Others tried to tell everyone else what to do. It’ll take years before the former group will be willing to listen to much of anything from the latter group. You’ll have to be patient.
  9. You segregated yourself Hawk. Shocking that you cannot see that. And I’m going to have a hard time getting to the lake from Waikiki Beach….but you know that I would otherwise. 😉
  10. That’s it! I’m gonna walk on this year! Apparently I’ve got a good shot at making the list even at my advanced age. 😂
  11. I’ll keep my distance. 😉 We don’t want you getting infected.
  12. You made your bed. I suggest you work out at home.
  13. So you trashed gyms that stayed open, in general, and then wanted them to let you in when YOU decided it was now Okay? My gosh Hawk, you can’t see the problem here?
  14. So if I understand correctly you came out in public trashing a business for staying open during Covid and then had the utter audacity to try and become a member of that business? I’ll say it again…you’re kidding, right? Geeez
  15. What! A gym that you didn’t belong to knows about your politics? How exactly? I’m dying to hear the answer to this one.
  16. You get your Tottenham tickets yet? That was a real circus.
  17. The once proud King of Memes and no longer King of the Board….incredibly sad. It’s like watching young, fit Elvis age into Fat Elvis. 😉
  18. You’re kidding right? That’s it? He was mocking the reporter’s OPINION.
  19. I couldn’t care less who brought cocaine into the White House. The utterly amazing part is that it got into the building without someone being arrested on the spot! Will anyone be fired? I’m guessing not.
  20. So let me see if I understand. It’s your personal position that you wouldn’t move to Florida because of your home insurance premium? Do you think ANYONE factors that in when they decide to move? If so, I’ve certainly NEVER heard of it. But if you feel that way…don’t move there. 👍
  21. What do home insurance costs have to do with any of this? Those costs are based on risk and replacement costs. If you live somewhere where fire, earthquakes, or floods/storms will cause your home to be replaced then insurance companies will raise your premium. And, just as importantly, if the cost of replacing your home goes up, so too will your premium. Is this complicated? No.
  22. What’s a library? 😉
  23. And others post memes. Although I cannot recall exactly who. Bueller? Bueller?
