I’m certainly no Draft expert but the aspect that many overlook is that football is a unique sport. You draft players for either offense or defense and even then for specific positions within each unit. So player rankings are more accurate by position than looked at on an overall basis. For example, the Bills are set at QB, so they can completely ignore those rankings….thank goodness.

Let’s offer them Zach Ertz, straight up! Oh wait….

That is an interesting perspective. I’d say the difference this year is that we don’t seem to have a MLB on the roster, at all. Which is a pretty darn big hole if you ask me. So unless you’re ready to go through the season with the couple of middle/late round kids they drafted last year you’re taking a mighty big gamble that the Board falls your way. (It’s why Beane gets the big bucks.)

I think we all can agree that if Groot, Epenesa, and Basham would step up this year it’d render this thread relatively meaningless.

And that’s just for the windex and paper towels!

Thanks! I keep thinking it’d be better if they could coach up Spencer. He’s simply too tall to play Guard so it seems like he’d end up just riding the bench. IMO our biggest need is at both Guard spots. If the Bills could solidify the center of the line with some affordable rookie talent that would last the duration of Josh’s contract that would be ideal.

I just saw the video of the Tennessee legislature. How in the F$&K is that in ANY way different than the footage on January 6th? Geeez!

Just got an update on my google feed of progress on the new Everton Football Club 54,000 seat stadium. The project is running a bit behind schedule but the latest update includes some really cool drone footage with the steel all up and the exterior brick cladding going on the concourse base. Can’t wait to see similar progress in Orchard Park. The Everton stadium, located on the waterfront in blue collar Liverpool looks like something that would’ve fit in a similar setting in WNY. And….yes….ALL of the seats are covered. Google it.

Exactly! Growing up in WNY everyone stayed up late just to watch the weather on television. If you did that here they’d have you committed. 😉 The place has turned into a dump over the last many years but the weather is wonderful!

When I was kid we had mandatory drills where we went into the hallway and covered our heads with our butts in the air, preparing for a nuclear bomb to hit the playground! And as you’all know I turned out just fine.
