Sorry that’s a crock..the best players go to the best programs. There is a reason why the top 10 looks basically the same every year. Development may help a team come out of nowhere in the generic conferences but when you are playing in the the SEC or Big Ten recruiting matters immensely. You aren’t about to see a MAC team ever in the top 16 so it’s not an apples to apples comparison. Illinois bet that having an Ex-NFL coach would get them better recruits. It appears it didn’t.

Tua always stuck me as a quick rhythm QB. I have heard this as a scouting report on him also. When they don’t throw quick passes or play action with him, he isn’t going to be effective. I just don’t see him ever being more than a mediocre NFL prospect when you take his limitations, his size, and his durability. Let’s hope I am right because if Miami missed on their starter that helps us for years while they waste their other talent. Now let’s hope the Pats swing and miss on their next prospect because we know the Jets have a gamer coming.

I definitely don’t fear the Raven. They fit the teams feast on, all run and little pass. We load the box against them and dare them to pass. This isn’t last year. Fear teams like the Browns or Colts or Titans who can score 26+ on anyone. If you can’t put up that many on the Bills you are going to lose. So the Steelers and Ravens are teams I would love to play. They are both one dimensional.

Please no. Not only is Lance great for UB, but my wife is a Illini fan and their program is awful. He won’t succeed there because they are the last place anyone wants to play. When an ex NFL head coach can’t recruit why would a guy from a relative no name school do better?

I prefer KC keep winning so they can be the 1 seed. That way if we can beat Pittsburgh and knock them down to the 2 seed and we can hold on to the 3 seed, we wouldn’t have to see KC until an AFC champ game. Honestly we match up best to anyone other than KC, so why not hope someone else like the Titans can take them out first?

The crazy thing about the stats you show is the new kid is already kicking at the Steve Christie FG % even after his horrid start... outside of Christie and Lindell, H Money was the 3rd best kicker we ever had. He was clutch and last year I never doubted he would make that 47 yarder in the playoff game.
