  1. You mean right as he turned his head and the ball was already past him and still 3 yards short of a first down with a guy that was about to drill him? Yeah, totally his fault. If he caught it that would've been a surefire first down
  2. He wasn't even done with the route, and you do realize there were more reads on the field ... Tyrod threw early and didn't look anywhere else. How can you fault Dennsion for Tyrod throwing to a guy who hadn't even made it through his route? How many yards down field was he supposed to be in 1.5 seconds?
  3. 3 points in the 4th quarter over the last 6 games... man that's embarrassing.
  4. Considering we weren't even supposed to be here, everything that happens is icing on the cake. Not settling for defeat, rather happy for the success we've had.
  5. Why are people blaming O'leary? That pass was way the hell short of the sticks and poorly timed. He was super covered anyway, so if by some miracle he caught that he would've been drilled into the ground 2-3 yards short.
  6. That's usually how it goes. And this is where the "he's efficient!" argument fails. Field vision & situational awareness show real efficiency, not checking the ball down no matter what the score, time left, filed position, etc. is throughout the game.
  7. Bummer that it's in the 4th quarter already Taylor is 3-21 in games we are down by even one point at any time in the 4th quarter... Just wish this offense had some big play capability...
  8. Our offense has trouble overcoming a 7 point deficit against anyone, but I'm not going to rule them out just yet.
  9. Let's not overexaggerate. The defense has been playing great all game. One TD does not mean the death of most teams. It's ok for a team to score 1 TD in a game. As long as the offense responds, it'll be fine.
  10. Uh what? A fade to Benjamin would be fine. And you don't know what he would've called. Any pass play would've been b*tched about on this board. The fact they didn't run is what I'm pointing to.
  11. C'mon guys...that was easily a catch. Far easier to discern than Benjamin's catch too.
  12. Yup. We can't get behind, even by a score, or we are in trouble.
  13. See guys, execution. If we did that & Tyrod missed the throw, everyone would be screaming we didn't run the ball.
  14. Well, first half is always our best half, so with us only mounting 3 points it doesn't look good. And playing from behind? We do even worse... Not giving up yet, but I'm still just happy we got here.
  15. They're selling out to stop the run, and McCoy hasn't exactly been known for pounding the ball on short yardage situations. A fade pass to the corner of the endzone to a tall receiving threat is a very common play call. Taylor just doesn't have the touch to hit those passes very often, as he usually throws too high, and Benjamin committed offensive pass interference to send us back 10 yards (Bills going backwards on 1st down, who would've guessed?)... The play call wasn't bad, it's the execution. We'd still have 2 plays to run it if it was incomplete, and even a 3rd if they wanted to go for it on 4th.
  16. I'm really just worried that now with the field position flipped Taylor will struggle passing to the right like Bortles did due to the wind.
  17. It wasn't flukey, it was a pass over the middle to a very covered guy that got tipped. Happens all the time. We should've had our own interception though with Tre White. Their WR did a great job though making sure he didn't hang on to the ball.
  18. On his last play instead of just lobbing it to nobody over the middle he should've thrown to Benjamin out left. He actually had space to make a play, and he'd have a chance at Taylor's high passes.
  19. He's made a few nice passes, but I'm worried about next half. Bortles has had his passes sail on him or go flying away in the wind passing to his right, so I hope Taylor doesn't have the same things affect him. I'd be happy with Taylor's performance today if he wasn't so consistently bad in the redzone. How many games do we just go backwards when we're so close to the endzone? It's getting ridiculous. He has no touch on his passes, doesn't throw to the right guys, and the defense has him covered on runs easily. We're also fortunate we had so many first downs via penalties against the Jags. If not for those, we'd have punted way earlier.
  20. Defense is playing great. I don't mind the aggressiveness at the end of the half like some. The execution was awful, but we had timeouts and were moving the ball decently. People always complain how conservative they are, which is half the reason we fail to ever put any teams away as we try to nurse a tiny lead all game, so trying to get a single 1st down is ok. And running for it 3 plays when they're selling out to stop the run wouldn't have done it.
  21. Blake Bortles has 6 4th Qtr comebacks in 4 years, which is ranked 169th all-time. Tyrod Taylor has 3, and is ranked 232 (dead last), tied with 46 others including JP Losman, JaMarcus Russell, Tom Savage, Heath Shuler & Kelly Holcomb. Bortles also passes for way more yards & more TD's (also more INT's), but not a huge amount. The most INT's he's every thrown is 18, but in the same season had 35 TD's. The most TD's TT has ever thrown for is 20 in his first year...then 17...then 14. Bortles averages 3,700+ yards a season, with 4,428 his top. TT averages 2,952 with his highest being 3,035. Bortles is ranked 17th in YPA with 7.05, while TT is ranked 23rd with 6.66 (IT'S A SIGN!) Bortles is ranked 12th in total QBR with 55.4 while TT is ranked 15th with 53.1. TT has a 62.6% completion percentage while Bortles has a 60.2%. I don't even think Bortles is a better or worse QB, I just rather have him in the playoffs as he definitely can put the game on his shoulders, can come from behind if needed, and can move the ball & score points, whereas if the Bills go down at any point you know TT cannot will them to victory. He's 3-21 all time when we go down by a single point in the 4th Qtr, so is that 170 yards & 1 TD really going to be enough to win in the playoffs? Is being last in the league in 3 & outs going to get us anywhere if the defense isn't dominant? If our defense was the same as 2014, I'd be fine with TT. But they're not that dominant. The only times we do win however are win they play insanely well & gift the offense a bunch of turnovers. If the Jags are just going to run it and pass sparingly, we're boned. If we had somebody who could chuck the ball around we might be able to stay in it and keep scoring. But if they go on long, 60+ yard drives running the ball, TT is the last QB you want back there. Going 3 & out and sending the defense right back out there just ends up snowballing, getting them more & more tired while the opponent chews up clock & sets the score further out of reach.
  22. Well, the Bills have shown they can beat the Chiefs, so out of all teams I want to win, it's them. Absolutely. That'd be a steal.
  23. At least your account got activated in time before the game... I'm still waiting for my account to activate over on the Jags forums But yeah, our run defense is definitely something to be worried about (for us).
  24. And of course some fan derailed the convo into Buffalo being a better place than Jacksonville, so obviously they took offense & the thread did a 180 into who was more likely to relocate...
