  1. As rookies Coleman, Carter and Davis are making large impacts. Carter with 4th down stop was massive. Davis looking like a possible rb 1B. Coleman had his first 100 yard game and so far been the Bills most consistent big play wr. So far the draft looks very good. They were expected to be early contributors and they have been.
  2. As the games closer and weather colder that will be very impactful. Also, a couple holes that Davis had a healthy Cook gets 40 instead of 20. Cook and Davis both can catch block and run. I will say it again. I want 21 or 22 with Cook in the slot or out wide with Davis in the backfield. Use Cook in motion or let him smoke a baker or safety outside. Over adjust run Davis. Find ways to get Cook in space.
  3. He is not fast. But he is not slow either. The slant wouldn't have gone as far if he was as slow as many joke. Coleman is one of the best Bills receivers with the ball in his hands in recent memory. Him as the single wr in 22 or 13 will be very impact full. Big improvement over MVS in the package.
  4. The talent around Schrager and Brandt have moved on. Kay Adams was a better host. Nate Burleson is one of the best speakers and analysts on Tv. Basically, now living off Ny bias and Brandt going viral. Rest of cast are paint by numbers sport personalities.
  5. They won 27-0 in the second half. The defense gave up 10 points and the offense scored 34. I get the concern. Overall, the passing game looked the best its looked.
  6. Imo Brady needs to do a better job scripting a first down and later on calling a play to get the first down. Felt the routes and plays were too far down the field. On 3rd down to start a drive get the first down. Do that every thing will click. Too many 3rd and medium and they were calling up deep passes.
  7. The Titans offense was propped up by the Bills offense inability to stay on the field. Once the offense got going the momentum flipped. Overall, Mcdermott does a good job of figuring out an offense and scheming and covering it up. Only team they struggled with all game was Baltimore but that had as much to do with missing guys and game script as it did with scheme.
  8. Loved Davis in the draft. Perfect compliment to Cook. Cook has bigger play ability. Davis is better north and south. Depending on the defense one style might work better than the other. I would like to Allen under center more. The run game was better and the play action is more effective.
  9. Hamlin has not made a lot of plays. He is where they want him to be all the time though. Thats why he is on the field. Edwards missing the spring and camp doesn't have the communication or cohesion with the unit. Bishop made a mistake vs Houston that gave up a TD. They don't want that again.
  10. His ability underneath is something not utilized enough. He housed a curl. Outside of Diggs who is the last Bill to do that? He is not on the same page with Allen yet. If he can gain some trust I fully believe he will be a good receiver. Anyone remember Shakir’s rookie season? Similar thing. Made some plays but was clearly making mistakes running routes. I think the addition of Cooper helps the match up and Coverage Coleman will receive. Hopefully, he can pick up some of his route nuance too.
  11. Dude is 21. Not known for his route running. Takes time to develop. I think he is a better athlete and better with the ball in his hand than his draft profile would lead you to believe. I think he needs the ball more and needs to be on the field more.
  12. Copper anytime TD seems like stealing.
  13. Correct each team has 3 reviews. That a total of 6 plays a game. Lets remove the malpractice and obvious vs still framing in 4k a moving of a pinky on the ball to confirm he had “control”.
  14. Would like to see Coleman take over the MVS 21 and 22 personnel snaps. Different type of wr but 1 on 1 down the field he is a threat.
  15. Perry now with the Bills formerly ESPN. Gene Steratore CBS. Mike Periera started it by retiring as an official to join Fox. My argument about replay is that most of the time the calls are still debatable. So what was really gained? For the few plays a game that it is important you still have 6 replays. That is be more than enough. Games will be smoother.
  16. Checks notes. The number 1 defense has faced Caleb Williams in his NFL debut L, Rodgers unimpressive L, Malik Willis L, beat Tyler Huntley, and lost to Flacco. Tennessee on defense is a product of short fields provided by their offense. Facing 3 back ups and a rookie debuting week 1 has impacted the ranking greatly. With Malik Willis and no passing attack the Packers rolled them. Level of worry in the Titans Defense is a 0. Bass yes. I think if he misses a kick he is out. Not surprised if the PS kicker is called up for the game and is in the game-day roster.
  17. The good officials, get this left for full time jobs with networks or teams. The crew on Monday looked like deer in the headlights. They were so quick to wait on review assist they didn't care about making the right calls first. This is becoming the trend. Give each team 3 challenges and move the game along. No automatic score review. No automatic turnover review. No inside of 2 mins automatic review. Failed challenge is a loss of timeout or a 5 yard delay of game penalty teams choice. Each team has 3 use them wisely. I think the game will be better without constant replay review. Replay has made the refs larger factors. Every important play is getting reviewed. Every important play is not getting called properly because replay will get it right. Some calls need to be called. Some obvious holds, some obvious Pi. But Monday they were calling everything possible.
  18. He best go 3-3 Sunday. I dont expect a kicker to make everything. The complete missed kick like the failed extra point is the real issues. Cant miss hit a ball in the NFL. He has done it a few times now. Not sure the PS kicker is the answer but was signed to generate urgency. I expect if cut they bring in a vet.
  19. 31-10. Mason Rudolph or Will Levis at Qb. Defense gets healthy and makes plays. Before the trade I thought this would score. I feel even stronger about it now. Cooper gets a TD. Defense gets a score. Perfect easing Cooper into the offense game. Allen and some starters sit most of the 4th.
  20. Daboll had some mind boggling games. Jacksonville for instance and others. He was an above average Co Ordinator. Brady employing a more balanced offense is good. He is different than Daboll but unlike his predecessors Brady has created a sustainable run game. The addition of Cooper is to exploit the looks they are starting to get. Having Cooper receive the outside looks Hollins and MVS have received changes everything I think Andrew Shultz stated yesterday Buffalo is looking to pass a bit more. Instead 50/50 more 55-58% passing. Having the ability to run the ball for real and beat man coverage will be how the Bills get past the Chiefs and make a Superbowl. Buffalo has created the first part. Adding Cooper helps the second. He helps Coleman and Shakir by creating better match ups for them aswell.
  21. Any number update? Maybe 19 like Dallas or 89 from OAK.
  22. Imo the best option with ability left. Can win 1 on 1 and runs very good routes. Plays bigger than his size. Love the move. I follow the Browns pretty close. Cooper is open a lot. Intermediate and down field he is lethal. Great move and I think he will quickly make an impact.
  23. Solid pick up. Had multiple big plays called back and missed with Watson. I dont think Buffalo needs to change philosophy on offense but allows the wr room to settle into better roles. Great trade. Cooper can ball. Has everywhere his entire career. Look what he did with Flacco last season. Love the move.
  24. Shakir getting healthy improves it. Coleman getting through the rookie wall will help a lot. They are the only guys that offer anything after the catch. Samuel has been disappointing in that area. I know Allen trusts him but man gotta bring down those Hollins targets.
