Mcdermott knows Mcdaniel will not commit to the run. They dont have the blockers at wr for it. Hill and Waddle want those touches. Dont really have the offensive line for it.

Bishop will eventually factor in. Right now the defense is playing very well. Gave up 20 points to Arizona and 10 to Miami. Murray and Tua both had very pedestrian passing numbers. Bishop and Edwards missed most of training camp have only been practicing now a few weeks. Hamlin and Rapp are familiar with the defense and scheme. They were first guys up. So far they have played well. Hamlin put the hat on the coverage and rallied up to make the tackles when the team needed him to. Hamlin had his best game since 2022. Some speculated off his play before his accident he was the successor to Hyde. He was written off last season because he was a shell of himself. Who could blame him? He looked like that guy again last night. Buffalo looks to be in better shape on defense than many expected. Hamlin is a big part of it.

Looked to me Allen threw more to the sideline away from the saftey. Looked to me Coleman had a guy on his back that was close to POI. Would have been a great catch but not that big of a deal. Short fields, pick 6 the second half the game was basically over not alot of substance to be taken from it. Oline and run game dominated thats about it. MVS is going to look like the last 2 games alot. Then he will have 2 50 plus plays and all is forgotten.

Im old enough to remember last year during the preseason many thought Spector was going to start at Mike. He got hurt late in preseason and Bernard came back healthy and got the job week 1 and never looked back. Spector was all over the field vs an offense that stresses the second level as any in the NFL. Im not that concerned. Spector and Williams will be fine. Morrow is the immediate back up and Andreesen or Ulofosio have the athletic ability to play a similar style. Buffalo last few years have drafted 4 linebakers and found another UDFA. Morrow athletically is similar to them. I think they are deeper than many think.

Great game by Hamlin. Led the team in tackles should give him a-lot of confidence. Great to see.

Last year they were the best they have been. Dominated the Steelers and performed well vs the Chiefs.

He wont be more mobile. Hall and Wilson are dangerous guys but thats all they have. The weakness of the 49ers is the oline not named Trent Williams. They dominated the Jets. Buffalo can do the same. Having the ability to take the defenses lunch money is going to create wide open space for Allen to attack down field.

Buffalo has changed over the last few years. They were a wr ran offense and a safety run defense. Right now the strength of the offense and defense are the lines. Buffalo whipped the Dolphins upfront. The oline has dominated for 2 games now. I think they can do the same to most teams.

He has looked great. Him and Rousseau look like a formidable pair.

He is playing very good. Does more than your average back. Has Home-run speed and very dangerous out of the backfield.

I dont believe that. Buffalo knows exactly what Miami is doing. The big change is using Achane more in motion and using him to open up holes for Waddle and Hill over top. Same concepts similar players. Stop the run on early downs with 6 and 7 boxs. Limited the big play and win the game. Force Miami and Mcdaniel to go the long way down the field.

If the Bills O-line is as good as I think they are, they put Miami in a bind defensively. I think they are too much upfront for Miami. Like last year with Wilkins Buffalo pretty much ran right at them. I think Buffalo goes play action early to open of the offense. They get a lead and bludgeon.

Miles Garret is the only guy I can see making that strip sack. He got Buffalo back in the game and dominated the second half. He wont get 3 sacks a game but this level of play is a a bonafide difference maker.

Expect Achane to play, Wilson and Wright. Mcdermott has a pretty good feel for McDaniel. This game comes down the offensive and defensive lines. I like Buffalos matchup on both sides. Bills dline can take over it limits what Miami can do in the run game and down field.

They got backs for days. Does not really change much. Achane seems to be a larger part of the overall offense though.

Seems like the annual Epensea looks like a good edge rusher game. Multiple sacks and a pick or forced fumble. On offense im going with Samuel. I think Miami will play man. Coleman will struggle vs Ramsey like most larger wrs have. I think Samuel kills them. Gets behind the defense for a deep ball and makes a big yac play or 2.

Agreed. I think the run game is going to make the early down reads easy on him. They didnt really do anything to replace Wilkins. Buffalo will attempt to run right at them like they did in January. The early rush rate vs Arizona seems like an obvious move to force Miami to scheme against it on a short week. Play action early and often with Kincaid and Coleman over the middle.

Barring injury he will absolutely break 100 yards. Buffalo didnt play him the most by accident. If Miami plays Kincaid the way Arizona did Coleman will have a massive game Thursday.

Both are over 30 and neither offer what Brown does in the ground game. His ability to get wide or pull across formation is not common. It’s a projection but his age and athletic ability rarely make it to the open market.

Look at the list and how many are 30 plus. Brown is still young. Makes sense to do. Look at Baltimore, KC, and Thursday Miami and see why you do it. Alot of questions at OT.
