  1. It was Tua he hit, not Brady.
  2. Even if Tua avoids injury by some miracle, they still probably pull him for "dear God, he's going to get killed out there, sacrifice the big bodied backup" reasons. Just seemed to be a game where the backup was destined to finish the game, regardless of who was the starter.
  3. I think you mean if Tua doesn't get hurt ON THAT PLAY. With how things were going, he was getting hurt eventually anyways. Even Brissett looked to be in pain at times, and he's better built for it than Tua.
  4. I noticed even Brissett getting up slowly and in clear discomfort multiple times. They'll definitely have a third QB next time they play us.
  5. I am no QB or O-line expert, but even I was like "he's sailing his initial throws the exact same way as last week, something has him shook and his mechanics are off".
  6. Kinda overall, but he still made plays a JAG couldn't. Pretty sure I heard the preliminary discussions about trades involved draft pick protections against drastic circumstances that would lead to him not playing.
  7. Devin seemed to be running out of steam as the safety was closing fast on him. But I've always been a proponent of his as speed < elusiveness and field vision.
  8. It means that we could have put a JAG in at QB and still won, considering Miami's O was doing nothing. Or did you not get the Kerrigan/Hardy reference?
  9. I also just realized that for some reason in other threads I (multiple times) said we scored 7 TDs, derp. Clearly I meant 5 and was thinking of 7 points from each TD. Just emphasizing I am often an idiot and should always be taken with a grain of salt.
  10. Speaking of guaranteed win, I wanted to see Mitch in the game after we went up 4 TDs. Maybe even 3 since our run game was working and would be able to drain the clock to minimize risk of a comeback.
  11. You are trying way too hard to find something to be concerned about. I'm sure Mitch knows how to handle snaps just fine. Unless I'm mistaken, kneels count as a rush for a loss, and they didn't want to knock down Josh's decent rush stats for the game. *edit* Josh averaged 7 yards per rush on 5 carries. The 2 kneels at the end of the game losing a yard each would have brought down his average to 4.7 yards per rush.
  12. Eh, backup QB against a dominating pass rush and decent LB depth.
  13. And crazy stuff happens week one. Both the Bills and Packers had bad games last week, and last year the future 1st overall pick Jags won while the Buccs lost before going on to win the Super Bowl. I would have been shocked if we didn't come out as 10 point favs week 3, 9.5 is close enough.
  14. I hope this is a joke, considering they were letting him rest after cramping in the 100 degree weather and a several touchdown lead against a weak offense. The thing about being good in coverage is the backup QB tends not to target you for you to get tackles... Also he sat the second half with heat cramps while we had a big lead.
  15. I didn't get why people were coming down on Edmunds for being out the second half, who was cramping from the conditions. Multi touchdown lead against a weak offense, let your key guys sit.
  16. Where are we ranked for penalties? There's been phases where our guys just looked shook and unfocused.
  17. Well they did already revamp the O-line back in 2019, and I think it was generally better than before. I think they will just continue to tweak it, rather than another revamp.
  18. Or John Tavares, the extremely successful and popular hockey player?
  19. It is going to be a LONG decade for AFC QBs.
  20. My friend came a couple Lamar passes short of winning a big props bet. But Mr "I'm totally a QB" had to do the smart thing and stuck to the run in the end...
  21. Bills, Chiefs, Ravens, Steelers, Browns, Packers, Seahawks, Saints, Titans all with a loss by week 2. Everyone is a fraud I guess. Well except for the Buccs I guess, darnit.
  22. Additional perk of Baltimore winning like this, we've shown we can shut down Lamar. I'd rather face Baltimore than KC.
  23. You know what Josh's answer would be, even 4th and 10+.
  24. I'm told it doesn’t count because it wasn't at home.
  25. They haven't confirmed exactly what the injury is, they're checking for cartilage damage. Someone could play through a fracture in one instance, but be completely out of action from a bruise in another. Chest injuries are weird like that. I had a bruised rib and had alternating periods of feeling fine and being in incredible pain barely able to breathe.
