McD is going to be the death of us all.

If we didn't have a "free agents don't want to come to Buffalo" problem before, we do now.

I'm fine with even the most boring of drafts as long as we get our guys. That being said I'm 90% sure Beane has something up his sleeve depending on how the first handful of picks go.

There will be a full scale riot in New York/Jersey if they don't take a QB in the first, and I don't see them blowing their Beckham trade loot trading up their second pick to maybe get the 4th best QB when the 2nd best was theirs for the taking.

I figure he's waiting to see how the first handful if picks in the draft go. No doubt he already has a list of potential trades or offers on tap depending on how those picks go.

We earned our WC the other year. It isn't invalidated just because one of the games that went our way was in dramatic fashion in week 17. It counts the same as the hundred other games through the season that affected our standing. How would a 9-7 record this year be more earned than a 9-7 record two years ago?

That's what I'm hoping for. Trade down the 1st, trade up in the 2nd and 3rd. NFL.com article is already proposing as one of their "dream draft trades" to trade down with the Giants so they can get Haskins at 9, and hope there is a market for our pick so we can get better than the speculated 3rd and 4th as compensation. Don't think I want to go down that far in the first but it's a nice idea.

Pardon my ignorance, but is this some sort of actual open draft discussion meetup over garbage plates? Never had or seen one of those on my side of the border so it seems like it could be fun.

I'd like to see them track back from 9 grabbing an extra 2nd, take DK/Hock/Fant, then trade up on our 2nd/3rd round picks for BPAs.

I voted for the Titans in the previous round so we would have an easier opponent.

I actually didn't find Henry's run all that impressive, just REALLY poor tackling. First tackler seemed to just fall over of his own accord, and the next two just ran straight into his outstretched hand and didn't know what to do.

Great, Brock Lesnar got back onto the board. We'll be stuck with him till Sunday now.

I may be of the unpopular opinion that we DON'T have any immediate needs, aside from depth or development for next year. We overhauled the two major weaknesses (O-line and WR) and shored up RB and CB for another year. A general overall talent upgrade has us at least competitive this year. That's not to say we won't or can't upgrade a couple positions in the next couple months, but we are at worst already in a much better position than last year. We can burn off our excess draft picks to trade around for "high ceiling" prospects in the draft to set us up to dominate in 2020.
